Kanye West puts burned-down church and crumbling Calabasas ranch on the market for $3.5m as he’s ‘desperate for money’
KANYE West seems eager to make a quick buck as he’s offloading two more of his properties in Los Angeles after his career took a nose-dive due to his wild behavior.
The U.S. Sun can confirm Kanye, 48, is selling both his burned-down church building in the San Fernando Valley and his derelict ranch in Calabasas.

It seems Kanye, known as Ye, may be desperate for cash, as sources say his spending is out of control, and his Yeezy business has ground to a halt.
Despite claims he’s a billionaire, insiders alleged this is far from the truth, and he has pending lawsuits and tax debt piling up, as previously reported by The U.S. Sun.
Last month, he put his upscale Calabasas condo on the market for $2.95 million as he faces over $60,000 in unpaid property taxes tied to the home.
He was given the property in his divorce from Kim Kardashian, which was finalized in November 2022.
Now, listings show he is trying to offload two more of his Los Angeles properties.
The rapper’s rundown church building in Northridge, north of the city, went up in flames in October 2024 after it was left to rot, and officials suspected arson.
Neighbors previously warned of squatters at the building and were worried about Kanye not looking after it.
The fire burned the residence to the ground, and all that remains is torched grass after the site was cleared and cordoned off with tape.

Kanye has now put the land up for sale for $1.5 million, the same price it was bought for in 2023.
It is described online as a “rare opportunity to purchase a 29,364 square foot flat lot” in a prime area of the valley.
Buyers are “encouraged to explore the development potential, which could allow for multi-family use.”
The lot is behind Cornerstone Christian Church, where he became close to former pastor, Ron Nagin, while hosting his Sunday Service events at various venues.
It was previously reported that 12,000 people signed a petition pleading for Nagin to turn him away, as Kanye was interested in leasing space at the church.
While a church source claimed that there was no way it would ever sell to Kanye after his anti-semitic rants, they’d already quietly sold him property on its estate.
The deal was done on January 30, 2023 to The Blue Spruce Trust, whose trustee is Ye.
Kanye is also selling his Calabasas ranch, once a base for his failed Christian private school, Donda Academy.
The gated property features two dwellings, a workshop barn, and is accessed via a private bridge, according to the listing, which leads to a 1.25 acre lot with oak trees.
The main house boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.
Photographs obtained by The U.S. Sun show it has been partly demolished and requires restoration work after Kanye tore it apart like many of his other residences.
The property comes with an adjoining lot of just over an acre, where a new buyer could build or put in a pool or tennis court.
HOTEL LIVING
It is said to be the perfect listing for a “country living equestrian buyer, who appreciates the outdoors and peaceful tranquility of the serene Calabasas mountains.”
Kanye also owns an abandoned ranch in Wyoming and a derelict $6.7 million Yeezy Headquarters in West Hollywood, which he gutted and had the roof torn off.
His three properties going on the market are yet another sign Kanye might be tightening his belt.
The hitmaker was recently pictured arriving at LAX and standing in line for security ahead of a commercial flight after previously flying on private jets.
The rapper and his second wife, Bianca Censori, took out loans to pay for a new $35 million home in Beverly Hills late last year, which has a massive steel bridge and a security pavilion.
The 20,000-square-foot mansion sits on 6.8 acres and was designed by the famed architect Richard Landry, who is known in the real estate world as the “King of the Megamansion.”
The spacious home has 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms and is situated in a gated community full of celebrities, including Adele.
Despite owning the lavish home, they have been spending more time living out of luxury hotels, according to sources.
They have been booking suites at the Four Seasons and Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles in recent months.
When they are not blowing through thousands of dollars in California, they are also living in style in hotels in Tokyo, Japan.
Most recently, Kanye and Bianca were staying in China, where fans demanded refunds after a disastrous gig on July 12 at the Shanghai Stadium.
The star appeared over 40 minutes late, and the event was mired in technical problems and bad weather, according to reports.
He has struggled to get his music career back on track in recent months after a string of bizarre stunts and rants on X about Nazis.
His account was deactivated in February following numerous warnings on the platform.

Abandoned dealership hosts massive car graveyard with vintage Alfa Romeos dating back to the 1970s
AN abandoned car dealership has been discovered by an explorer filled with vintage Alfa Romeos, some dating back to the 1970s.
The collection spans various decades and includes models primarily from the 1990s and 2000s, although enthusiasts will be buoyed to know there’s also a mix of older and iconic cars.

In a recent video, Colin Smith, a YouTuber and gearhead known as the Bearded Explorer travels to Belgium to uncover a hidden gem; an abandoned location filled with Alfa Romeos.
The story goes that the dealership’s owner, an Alfa Romeo enthusiast, passed away in a car accident near the location which led to the closure of the business.
It also meant the cars were left scattered around the site, largely untouched.
While the owner’s son occasionally checks on them, maintaining a connection to the collection, many have become rusted and worse-for-wear.
It’s not just Alfa’s though, as a Ferrari 360 Modena in poor condition can also be seen there near the beginning of the video.
But the vast majority of cars are Alfa Romeos, including models like the 156, 159, 145 and a rusted Giulia from the 1970s.
One of the standout vehicles is a 166 model featuring a powerful 24-valve 3.0-liter V6 Busso engine – renowned for its performance.
The 155 is another highlight, as it achieved plenty of success despite criticism for its ties to the often-maligned Fiat Tempra.
A well-preserved green 155 and a couple of Alfa Romeo 33 models are also spotted, including a Quadrifoglio Verde with cool, sporty features and a beefy 1.5-liter boxer engine.
Colin seems particularly interested in an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA, a performance model that’s now considered a modern classic.
An equally special GTV6 is also found in good condition, as well as a uniquely modified Alfa Romeo 33 which was possibly used as a safety car in racing events.
This comes as a budding urban explorer discovered an abandoned warehouse stocked to the brim with crates of unopened energy drinks and multiple NASCAR vehicles.
Jonathan, 16, spotted the abandoned property whilst looking for interesting locations to explore in his local area on Google Earth.
The property, believed to have been abandoned back in 2022, was in relatively good shape, and with a huge haul inside.
Jonathan shared footage of the find on TikTok, where it garnered 7.2 million views.
“I found thousands and thousands of energy drinks alongside the race cars meant for the company,” he told NeedToKnow.
“And, for some reason, a vintage show car and two random normal cars. I think it’s one of the coolest places we have explored because of the products in there.”
“There are thousands of dollars left behind in there including the cars. It’s even more insane that the cars are worth tens of thousands [and are] just left to rust and rot away,” he added.
The abandoned factory is located near the border between Tennessee and Virginia in the US.
What to do if a dealership closes

If you recently bought a car or motorcycle from a dealership that suddently closed, you may feel anxious about how that affects you.
When you finance a new car or motorcycle or need warranty repairs done at an authorized dealership, a sudden closure can make some people think they’re out of options or worry their car will be repossessed.
If you’re in a situation that sounds like that, here are a few things you can do after receiving an official notice:
- Notify the bank hosting your loan of the closure to make them aware. If the financing is done through the dealership itself, it’s important to contact the dealership or your salesperson to ask how to keep up your payments. Many dealerships will send the lien (the title and registration that will only be released to the buyer after the debt is paid) to a financial institution to keep.
- If the dealership cannot be contacted through traditional means, most states allow drivers to apply for the title and registration through the DMV.
- If you leased a car from a dealership that went out of business, instructions should be sent as to which dealership to bring your vehicle to when the lease expires. If not, contact the dealership.
- A factory warranty through the manufacturer will be honored at any other authorized dealership. However, an extended warranty through the dealership may not be honored at other repair shops, so it’s important to seek that information from the dealership as soon as possible.
