Each year, hundreds of millions of people play the Powerball lottery hoping to score big.
One lucky player is living out everyone’s dreams.
A Circle K in Ohio sold a $1 million prize-winning ticket after the drawing on Aug. 6.
The winner is yet to be found, and the clock is ticking for the lucky winner to claim the cash.
According to state rules, winners have 180 days after the drawing to claim their prize.
Winnings that go unclaimed are transferred to a state fund that supports Ohio’s education system.
So how lucky do you have to be to score one million dollars from the Powerball?
The odds of matching all five white balls and winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 11,688,053.
But the state saw several winners.
Here’s a breakdown.
Still, nobody won the $449 million Powerball jackpot.
The winning numbers for the Powerball on Wednesday were 15, 27, 43, 35, 53 . The Powerball was 9 and the Power Play was 2x.
The jackpot now stands at $482 million for the next Powerball drawing on Saturday, Aug. 9.
But this isn’t the first time a large lottery winning has gone unclaimed.
An Illinois player won $200,000 but failed to claim it upon winning.
However, Illinois gives winners up to a year to claim their prize.
And another $200,000 prize was left untouched by a winner in Chicago.
Moreover, a Pennsylvania winner scratched off a $1 million ticket and didn’t claim it.

ERIN Andrews dropped a hint over a shock return to set for a Fox NFL Sunday icon.
Andrews, 47, was spotted at an event with Fox colleagues past and present.
The sideline reporter is part of Fox’s top NFL team and getting ready for the 2025 season.
She was seen at an event with Charissa Thompson, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan.
Andrews wrote, “Love our family NFL on Fox.”
Johnson, 82, retired from his broadcast career after the Super Bowl.
He was part of the Fox team that helped deliver a record audience for the game.
More than 127 million people tuned in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fox faced uncertainty over the likes of Johnson and Terry Bradshaw.
Johnson confirmed he was calling it a day while Bradshaw, 76, insists he wants to continue until he’s 80.
Andrews and Thompson have also faced uncertainty over their future with the network.
But their contract situations are apparently resolved and they’re both set to feature on Fox this fall.
Johnson could yet make a return to set in some capacity.
He is unlikely to be a regular broadcaster for Fox again.
But the former Dallas Cowboys coach may be a special guest on some episodes.
His former Fox colleague Julian Edelman spoke to The US Sun at Fanatics Fest in New York.
He said, “I love Jimmy… What an unbelievable career.”
“It’s crazy. He’s such a pivotal part of that show, and I learned so much from him. Jimmy’s the best.
“I’m sure he’ll be back in some capacity. He’s got to do a couple of bits.”
A replacement has not yet been confirmed, but Rob Gronkowski is set for a larger role.
He featured on some Fox NFL Sunday shows last year when Johnson was off.
Fox’s first NFL broadcast of the 2025 season will be on Sunday 7 September.
A MODEL who was allegedly raped, tied to a staircase and beaten by her footballer boyfriend has revealed horror images of injuries.
Jannah Nebbeling, 29, accused Paraguayan footballer Jorge Báez of physical, psychological and emotional abuse during their three-year relationship.
Báez has not publicly responded to the claims.
The Brazilian influencer claimed her ex-partner kept her locked up for months before she escaped and fled back to her home country.
The model said she first met Baez when she was 18 and described the relationship as a traumatic experience in which she was manipulated, assaulted and kept in isolation.
She claims Baez tied her up with ropes and assaulted her while using boxing gloves, allegedly to avoid visible damage to her face.
She filed a formal complaint with Brazilian cops after she claimed previous attempts to report him in Paraguay failed.
The Brazilian said: “He tied me to a ladder with ropes, assaulted me with boxing gloves, and bit my hand.”
Nebbeling alleged the athlete stomped on her feet and inflicted severe bruising and injuries including to her lips eyes and limbs.
She also claims she suffered sexual abuse while she was unconscious, and said that the footballer controlled her social media.
Shocking images posted online showed Nebbeling scantily clad with visible bruises on her face and body and tied to a staircase which she says was taken during one of the assaults.
She has also published medical reports screenshots and audio files as evidence.
In one post she wrote: “This is me Jannah Nebbeling tied to a staircase, tortured and completely isolated from the world.
“This is what the law calls unlawful deprivation of liberty or rather false imprisonment within a brutal cycle of domestic violence.”
She added: “I want justice. For myself for every silenced woman and for those who are no longer alive to speak.”
The alleged victim also claimed that Baez, who played for teams such as Olimpia Arsenal de Sarandi and Resende, only allowed her to speak to people he approved of.
She said she lived in what she called a “private prison” for a year in Paraguay while being closely monitored.
Nebbeling said she initially tried to report the alleged abuse to a doctor in Paraguay but was advised against doing so.
She was allegedly warned that the footballer could use his money and influence to avoid charges and even turn the situation against her.
The allaged victim said she filed the complaint at the women’s police station in Jacarepagua in Rio de Janeiro.
But she claims her case was first mocked and dismissed before being taken seriously.
Baez, 34, has not made any public comment – but he reportedly told local media he would only respond if formally requested by courts.
Paraguayan authorities have reportedly requested international assistance to clarify the case.
The police probe into the alleged attacks and forced captivity is still ongoing Brazil.
