My partner is disabled, nasty trolls assume I’m cheating and even claim I’m with him for his benefits
A YOUNG woman has hit back at nasty trolls who assume she doesn’t love her partner, all because he has a disability,
Angel, 18, and Karla, 20, first met on social media and their relationship soon blossomed when Angel slid into her DMs.

He told Truly: ” I started noticing that she would like my stories on Facebook and I was like, “Well, she’s really pretty.”
“So I decided to text her.
“Five months in, she started coming over, started seeing what my mum would do cuz she was kind enough to start helping out.”
Karla revealed she knew from the beginning that their relationship would be different but wanted to make it work as she really liked him.
Angel revealed that he suffered with osteoarthritis, a condition that causes the destruction of hyaline cartilage that covers the bone surfaces, making it difficult to move joints.
She now helps Angel with daily tasks such as brushing his teeth, bathing, and getting him dressed.
But for Karla it comes naturally, she explained that her sisters are deaf and she constantly helped them out too.
“I feel like I’ve always had that caregiving mindset and it was never like ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t want to do this, it was more like I’m like happy to help out just let me know what you need,” she explained.
However, when the couple began sharing their relationship online, it drew negative attention.
Karla revealed that some accuse her of having affairs while others say she must be with him for his disability cheques.

She added: “Comments we receive are mainly like ‘Oh she’s just doing it for the money,’ ‘How much are his parents paying her?’ ‘You’re for sure cheating.'”
But the pair says they ignore the haters and are now engaged and set to get married.
The clip was a hit on Truly’s YouTube account and people were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.
One person wrote: “They seem genuinely happy and committed to each other. That’s a good thing.”

- University or higher education – 6%

Another commented: “This world is so judgmental and hateful.”
“Love is love,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “With him for the disability check?? Have you never seen how much a disability check is?? Lol!
“She’d make the equivalent amount working at minimum wage, maybe a day and a half each week!! Get real! NOBODY aspires to make that kind of money!”
Someone else added: “Society has become so vain that people cannot believe that their relationship is real.”

‘Only good thing he’s done’ say fans as Man Utd flop urges Mbeumo to join them over Tottenham
MANCHESTER UNITED flop Andre Onana has reportedly been urging Bryan Mbeumo to snub Tottenham and move to Old Trafford.
The Brentford star is a wanted man this summer after banging in 20 Premier League goals.

Mbeumo, 25, has become a £60million target for United as boss Ruben Amorim shakes up his front line.
The Red Devils are already £62.5m down after buying Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
And earlier this month they saw a £45m bid for Mbeumo knocked back by Brentford.
But since then, much has changed.
The Bees have seen manager Thomas Frank depart for Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou’s replacement.
And he now wants to bring Mbeumo to north London in a big-money deal.
As a result, United face a major fight to land the left-footer.
But the Manchester Evening News claims Mbeumo still favours a move up north.

And Amorim has goalie Onana to thank, as the flop has been spending his free time selling United’s vision to Mbeumo.
Both players are regulars for Cameroon’s international side and have become firm friends over the years.

Onana remains convinced about Amorim’s project despite question marks over his own future.
And that has tipped the scales in United’s favour, despite Spurs “aggressively pursuing” Mbeumo as a marquee signing.
Red Devils fans reacted to the news in hilarious style, with one declaring: “It’s the only good thing Onana’s done for the club.”
Another said: “Love you Onana.”
One noted: “Onana doesn’t know he’s the first to leave.”
Another added: “He’s probably not the best advert.”
Mbeumo himself is remaining calm about the situation.
When asked about his future while at the Canadian Grand Prix, he told Sky Sports: “It’s a bit new for me. I think it can be the life of a footballer and you need to accept it.”
Cheapest way to get Amazon Prime only costs £24 a year – bill-slashing tricks to get membership with full TV access too

YOU might be overpaying for Amazon Prime without even realising it – but it only takes seconds to fix.
The Sun has looked at all of the major Amazon Prime subscriptions, and there’s a way to bag a membership for just under £24 for an entire year.

Usually an Amazon Prime subscriber would pay £8.99 a month here, which isn’t a bad deal. (Amazon Prime for £8.99 a month – buy here)
As well as the free and speedy deliveries, you also get Prime Video telly, a Deliveroo Silver Plus membership, and no-cost video games each month.
But if you’re forking out that monthly fee, you’ll end up paying £107.88 a year – no small sum.
So it’s worth taking a look at your situation to see if you can bring this right down.
ALL THE WAYS OF REDUCING AMAZON PRIME BILL
Option 1
One easy option is to just switch to annual billing if you can afford it.
That means you only pay £95 for a year of membership, versus the £107.88 you pay for monthly billing.
That saves you £12.88 a year, equivalent to about six weeks of membership.
Option 2
Another way to reduce your bill is to simply pay for Amazon Prime Video on its own.
You’ll miss out on all of the other Amazon perks, but you get the TV, which is one of the best bits of membership.
For Prime Video, you’ll just pay £5.99 a month – or £71.88 over the course of the year.
That’s a saving of £36 annually versus paying for Amazon Prime every month.
Option 3
Now we’re getting into the very cheap options.
Amazon has a special budget membership called Prime for Students and 18-22 Year Olds. (Amazon Prime Student – buy here)
It’s a mouthful, but wasn’t always.
It started life as a membership just for students in higher eduction – but last year expanded to anyone aged between 18 and 22.

Needless to say, that includes millions of Brits. You might even have one at home, and they’re your ticket to cheap Prime.
Students need to be at an institution in the UK or Ireland, ideally with an email linked to it.
If you’re verifying simply by age then you’ll need a valid passport or driving licence.
This will bring your Amazon Prime membership down to just £4.49 a month.
HOW TO ENROL IF YOU'RE A STUDENT WITH NO OFFICIAL EMAIL

Here's what you need to know...
If you don’t have an official recognised email for your university or college, there’s still hope.
You can send proof of age and enrolment to amazon-student-verification@amazon.co.uk.
Make sure that you’re messaging from the email address linked to your Amazon UK account (and that the account has an up-to-date payment method).
And attach a scan, photo, or screenshot of either:
- A valid NUS Extra, NUS Apprentice Extra, TOTUM, TOTUM Student or TOTUM Apprentice card (must show your name, institution, and date of expiry). Please note that TOTUM Pro/Professional or UNiDAYS ID cards are not accepted.
- A proof of student status letter (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and start date, expected graduation/completion date).
- A tuition bill for the current term (must include institution name, course details and start date, student address).
- A tuition invoice for the current term with your name and your institution’s name on it.
- An official acceptance letter for the upcoming term (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and enrollment date, expected graduation/completion date).
If you’re eligible then you should get an email back in a few days to help you complete your sign-up.

That’s half price, working out at a lowly £53.88 a year.
Option 4
Cheaper still is the annual version of this discounted Amazon Prime subscription.
If you’re on this cheaper plan, you can pay a one-off fee of £47.49 for a full year of membership.
That’s £60.39 less annually than paying for full Prime every month.
Option 5
Normally Amazon Prime includes a 30-day free trial.
But on the Prime for Students and 18-22 Year Olds plan, you can claim an extended six-month trial.

That means in your first year, you’re only paying for the final six months of membership.
So if you’re paying monthly, you only end up paying £26.94 in that first 12-month period.
And if you pay annually, you would still have to pay £47.49, but you’re technically only paying £23.75 for that first year – because the first six months were free.
These two options mean you’re paying around a quarter of the full price for a monthly Amazon Prime membership.
BONUS: EASY MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT

Want even cheaper Prime? There's a handy discount available...
If you’re a Vodafone customer, you can bag three months of Prime for a quid.
Yes, it’s one of the VeryMe Rewards, which you can access through Vodafone’s app.
It gets you three months of full Amazon Prime membership for just £1.
That’s a massive saving compared to the usual cost of Prime.
Of course, you’ll be billed at the usual membership rate once the deal expires.
The deal is due to expire on February 28, 2026.
