Love Island star ‘gives away’ she’s signed up for All Stars after split from boyfriend and abuse accusations

LOVE Island beauty Belle Hassan has dropped a major hint she’s signed up for All Stars following her split from her rugby player ex-boyfriend.

Belle split from Scotland international Luke Crosbie, 28, in February and claimed she was the victim of emotional abuse.

In a Q&A with fans on Instagram last night, she revealed she can’t say much for “legal reasons” but insisted she’s never been so happy to be single.

Having ‘rediscovered’ herself, Belle appeared to confirm a return to Love Island in the New Year.

When a fan asked if she was doing All Stars, she replied with a selfie and a large side eye emoji suggesting wheels are in motion behind the scenes.

Earlier this year, the makeup artist, 27, told fans she’d experienced six weeks of alleged emotional abuse that left her feeling at an all time low.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Belle is no longer with Luke.

“She’s back in London while she processes everything that has happened recently and is focusing on her wellbeing after the split.”

When a fan asked how she was, Belle wrote: “I’m probably at the lowest point I’ve been in my life and I genuinely don’t know how to pull myself out.

“I can’t even pull myself out of bed, and have been like this for about 6 weeks, when I tell you emotional abuse is no joke I mean it!

“I wouldn’t wish what has been done to me on my worst enemy.

“For the first time in my life I’ve been faced with a situation I have no idea how to deal with and I know usually it’s me on here giving all the advice but I don’t wanna sit here and lie and say I know I’ll be fine because this time I’m not sure if I will be.

“I can promise I am trying my best to get better but this one’s gna be a process.”

The pair became an item late in 2023 just as Belle, who previously dated Anton Danyluk, was asked to sign up for Love Island All Stars.

She called Luke a “gift from the universe” and said: “He ticks every checklist I have, he’s completely my type to a T, personality, looks everything.”

Londoner Belle relocated to Edinburgh to live with the sports star and opened a beauty salon in the city.

Luke previously praised Belle for supporting his career and shared details of winning her hardman actor dad Tamer’s approval.

He told us: “She’s starting to realise how sore you are after the games!

“She’s got a big job keeping me fed but she’s doing a good job so far.

“She loves rugby now and her dad loves it as well, and her mum, so they’re big supporters.

“I get along well with her dad. He’s a tough man, like!

“One of the first times I met him he wanted to make sure I could protect his daughter so it turned into a little sparring match at Christmas. I passed the test!

“You wouldn’t hear the end of that if I’d knocked him out!”

ARSENAL are to host all of their women’s top-flight home games at the Emirates next season.

Today the club revealed 11 WSL fixtures will be played at the 60,704-capacity ground during their 2025-26 campaign.

The club also plan to introduce Emirates Stadium season tickets for their women’s team matches at the ground[/caption]

They say this follows a 20 per cent rise in crowd numbers last term compared to the previous season with more than 415,000 tickets sold.

However Arsenal also stated these plans will be “subject to scheduling with fixtures for both the Premier League and WSL 2025/26 seasons to be confirmed later this summer.

Last term their average crowd attendance at the stadium was 34,110.

And for the first time the club is set to introduce Emirates Stadium season tickets for women’s team home fixtures at the ground.

Following their Champions League triumph last month the Emirates will serve as the venue for any knockout games their WSL side competes in should they reach this phase next term.

However Women’s FA Cup and League Cup fixtures will continue to be hosted at Meadow Park home they share with National League men’s side Boreham Wood FC.

And their Women’s Champions League phase games will also take place at the ground which has a 4,500 capacity.

Arsenal managing director Richard Garlick said: “Today’s announcement is another bold step forward.

“It’s an opportunity to create a special home for our team and allow more opportunities for our community, and a new generation of supporters to watch the European champions.

“It’s the start of another chapter in the story of our women’s team just two weeks on from us lifting the Champions League trophy with our community here in Islington.”

“We keep moving forward together, and we’ll continue to fuel and inspire each other.”

Gunners women’s boss Renee Slegers added:  “I’m so proud of the journey we’ve been on with our supporters this season.

“From Boreham Wood to the Emirates, on the road to every WSL and European destination we visited, and of course all the way to Lisbon, they’ve shown up.

“We’ve fuelled each other to an historic season for our club.”

“For us, this is just the beginning, and bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is another step for more supporters to be part of this special journey.

“We’ll come back next season, with fire in our hearts, more determined, more ambitious, and more together than ever.”

Today’s announcement comes four months after the women’s team drew a crowd of 56,748 to their 5-0 North London WSL derby defeat of Tottenham at the Emirates.

However this figure is more than 3,300 less than the number that flocked to watch them beat Manchester United and Spurs in February and March last year.

Back then crowds of 60,160 and 60,050 watched the Gunners’ 3-1 and 1-0 defeats of their WSL rivals.

Arsenal’s announcement follows the team finishing as runners up in last term’s title race behind Chelsea who were crowned champions for the fifth time in a row in May.

Last month Slegers’ players lifted a Champions League trophy following their dramatic 1-0 defeat of Barcelona in Portugal.

Their triumph in this year’s decider in Lisbon saw Arsenal win the contest for the second time in the club’s history.

The Gunners remaining the only English side to date win the women’s tournament.

Arsenal women’s football director Claire Wheatley said: “We felt that winning connection all season.

“To share in a Champions League win with our supporters in north London after returning from Lisbon inspired us all to push on.

Following their Women’s Champions League contest win Arsenal hope to attract bigger crowds to their games next season[/caption]

Of the team’s WSL home games being played at the Emirates next term Wheatley added: “Our players and staff know what it means to walk out in front of a packed Emirates Stadium.

“It brings a sense of pride and belonging to all of us.

“It fuels a relentless drive to win and is a crucial part of how we create the best conditions for our women’s team to succeed.”

Floyd Mayweather reveals he only had FIVE ‘tough’ fights in entire career as Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez snubbed

FLOYD MAYWEATHER can count on one hand the amount of tough fights he had during his legendary career.

Mayweather officially retired in 2017 at 50-0 – a record that is yet to be matched – with world titles in FIVE different weights.

Up until his final bout – against UFC star Conor McGregor – the American beat 15 champions in a row.

But he named Emanuel Augustus – who famously adopted the Drunken Master technique – as one of his toughest fights.

Mayweather beat Augustus in 2000 but credited the unorthodox showboater as one of his hardest opponents alongside Miguel Cotto.

He told FightHype in 2013: “I probably had six tough fights, if that, probably five tough fights.

“Cotto was a tough fight, Emmanuel Augustus was tough, Cotto you know he was tough.

“[I can name] those two that I can name off the top of my head, probably a few other fights but we got through it.”

Augustus would act drunk during fights, prancing awkwardly around the ring to try and throw off his opponents.

And even Mayweather struggled to cope with Augustus’ unusual style in their bout – which he won on points.

Augustus finished his 78-fight career with 38 wins, 34 defeats and six draws – losing his last six bouts before his 2011 retirement.

Cotto meanwhile is a four-division world champion who faced Mayweather for the WBA light-middleweight title in 2012.

Mayweather came up from welterweight to win over 12 rounds – but he was bloodied from the nose due to Cotto’s effective roughouse tactics.

Cotto retired in 2017 after an iconic career just months after Mayweather’s final bout.

Mayweather – who beat Canelo Alvarez in 2013 – left the sport as the richest boxer of all time – boasting of earnings over £1BILLION.

Around half of that were made for his pair of wins over Manny Pacquiao and McGregor.

The Pacquiao fight was over five years in the making and resulted in Mayweather outfoxing his great rival over the distance.

And he told The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast: “The best fighter I ever fought, probably was Manny Pacquiao. Because of his movement.

“But he’s a helluva’ fighter and I can see why he won so many fights and I can see why he’s going down as a Hall of Famer, it’s just certain moves that he made.

“But the roughest fighter probably was a guy named Emanuel Augustus. The Drunken Master. He was tough.

“And Miguel Cotto was very, very physically strong. So, you’ve got different fighters, different days you feel different ways.

“So some days you can go over there and you may not feel that good but you go over there and feel superb.”

Mayweather – snubbing McGregor from any list of tough fights – continues to box in exhibition bouts after retiring.

His last came in August 2024 against the grandson of notorious New York crime boss John Gotti.

Huge Royal Ascot chances ‘dropping like flies’ as latest big name ruled out in gut punch to punters

HUGE Royal Ascot chances are ‘dropping like flies’ – with another massive name pulled out due to injury.

William Haggas has been forced to scrap Economics’ intended return in a red-hot Prince Of Wales’s Stakes next Wednesday.

Last year’s Irish Champion Stakes hero, who saw off former Derby king Auguste Rodin in an absolute thriller, was 9-2 second-fav for the blockbuster Group 1.

But Haggas said a pulled muscle means he is out, leaving Aidan O’Brien’s Los Angeles clear at the head of the market at 5-2.

Haggas said: “Unfortunately, Economics won’t make Royal Ascot and is out in the short term but it’s no big deal and hopefully he can be back in action soon.”

Economics has won four of six career races but hasn’t been seen since bleeding when finishing sixth in last October’s Champion Stakes at Ascot.

Speaking on the market move, William Hill’s Lee Phelps said: “News that William Haggas’ Economics has been ruled out of Royal Ascot has shaken up the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes market.

“With one of his key competitors out, we have clipped Los Angeles from 7-2 to 3-1 at the head of the market.

“One horse we’re now fearing could be a popular pick is Anmaat after a strong reappearance behind Los Angeles at the Curragh and the Champion Stakes winner could be the punters’ pick at 4-1.

“Economics had been third in the betting but that place now belongs to Wathnan Racing’s French raider, Map Of Stars (5-1).”

Economics’ KO came less than 24 hours after O’Brien’s Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Lake Victoria was ruled out.

Deemed by many to be the banker of the festival, she was odds on for the Group 1 Coronation Stakes over a mile.

A post from owners Coolmore on X read: “Lake Victoria will not run at Royal Ascot.

“She will have an easy few weeks and will return for a late summer/autumn campaign.”

O’Brien, who won the Oaks and Derby last week, has seen three big favourites ruled out now.

Lake Victoria adds to former Gold Cup superstar Kyprios and Coventry fav Albert Einstein in being pulled.

Another Group 1 globe-trotter ruled out is four-year-old filly Porta Fortuna.

She had been as short as 6-1 for the Queen Anne on the first day, next Tuesday, but is out now following a ‘small setback in training’

Love Island fans convinced there was ‘unaired argument’ as couple appear VERY frosty after ‘missing scenes’

LOVE Island fans are convinced one couple locked horns in an off-camera spat after appearing VERY frosty on-screen.

It came as the first episode of the matchmaking series – which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year – kicked off with the unexpected arrival of American bombshell Toni, 24.

Yet before the Las Vegas pool cabana server caused chaos by stealing Ben, fan noted supposed bad blood between one pair.

The show’s six couples opening couples – picked by the girls from the dating bios of the lads – were Shakira and Ben, Meg and Dejon, Sophie and Harry, Helena and Conor, Alima and Blu, and Megan and Tommy.

Yet fans now reckon Shakira, 22, who offended swathes of viewers as she made a stark comment about 9-5 jobs, had also irked her partner too.

They noted a strange vibe between the model and taxi driver Ben after they were coupled up, and one fan took to X to muse: “Shakira and Ben are clashing already yikes yikes yikesssss.”

Another quizzed: “Did I miss something between Ben and Shakira – why does everyone hate each other?”

A third wrote: “Can we just get a brand new cast I don’t like this one.”

The awkward attitude came shortly before ITV2 viewers threatened to call Ofcom after Shakira was left single – when Toni chose her man to couple up with.

Yet show fans already suspect issues with the new couple, claiming Ben simply “doesn’t fancy” the American bombshell.

Meanwhile, others have suggested Meg isn’t attracted to Dejon “at all” as the first show twist played out.

Some have even called for one lad to be kicked out – and his partner saved – as the new couples start to get used to each other.

FIESTY CHARACTER

Prior to her time in the villa, Shakira dropped a huge hint about her fiery attitude.

She warmed: “I could argue with a brick wall.

“If arguing was an Olympic sport, I’d have gold medal, and I will just argue in the face I’m even if I’m wrong, I will argue in your face just until, until I have no breath left.

“I’m stubborn.”

Shakira added: “I won’t go hunting for the drama but if someone wants to pick a fight with me, girls or not, then they’re gonna get a response.”
