Brandon Blackstock’s daughter Savannah announced she was pregnant just weeks before dad’s tragic death
BRANDON Blackstock’s daughter Savannah announced she was pregnant just weeks before her dad’s tragic death.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon had died at 48 years of age after a three-year battle with cancer.

And now it has come to light that his 23-year-old daughter Savannah Blackstock only revealed her second pregnancy just weeks before her dad died.
Savannah, who is a Florida-based realtor, already shares her 3-year-old son Lake with partner Quentin Lee, who works in the same industry.
She took to social media at the start of July to reveal her pregnancy and how excited she was for her family to grow.
As well as revealing her pregnancy, she also shared how they had been blessed with the addition of another little girl.
Taking to her page on July 5, she penned: “We’ve been keeping a couple sweet surprises.
“One little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family.”

It is unclear if Julianna was adopted or her husbands daughter from a previous relationship.
In the caption, Savannah then went on to thank the Lord for the blessings in her life.
“He’s written a story we never could’ve imagined, and His kindness in this season has left us in awe.
“He’s answered prayers we never even knew how to pray.
“This journey has been so special full of peace, excitement, and so much grace.
“We’re growing again, and our hearts are so full. Thank you, Jesus.”
Savannah and Quentin’s baby girl is due in January 2026.
Brandon welcomed Savannah and his son, Seth, with his ex-wife, Melissa Ashworth, whom he was married to from 2001 until 2012.
He then went on to marry Kelly Clarkson in 2013.
The pair went on to welcome their daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander.
They split in 2020, with their divorce finalized in 2022.
TRAGIC DEATH AT 48
On Thursday, Starstruck Entertainment, which is the agency where Brandon worked, confirmed that he had died.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” they wrote in the statement first published by People.
“Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years.
“He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.
“We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”
Brandon’s father, famous music manager Narvel, was once married to country singer and The Voice coach Reba McEntire before their split in 2015.
KELLY’S POSTPONED SHOWS
Just hours before Brandon’s death was announced to the world, his ex-wife Kelly revealed she was postponing her Las Vegas residency due to her children’s father being ill.
In the statement she shared, Kelly said, “Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas.
“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
She went on to apologize to her dedicated fans, saying how she was sorry but thankful for their understanding.
“I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding,” she concluded.

NFL and ESPN deal facing possible YEAR long investigation with scrutiny from Donald Trump’s Department of Justice
ESPN’s deal to buy NFL Network and other assets is expected to face questions from the Government.
The Walt Disney-owned company announced the acquisition this week with the NFL receiving equity in exchange.

According to Reuters, the deal will likely come under scrutiny from the US Department of Justice.
An anonymous source was quoted in the report while ESPN and the NFL declined to comment.
Another source that was quoted said it takes up to 12 months to obtain US antitrust clearance.
“The deal could potentially result in higher costs for consumers,” lawyer Andre P. Barlow said.
“Disney’s dominance in sports media could limit options and drive up prices for streaming services or game access.”
The legal expert also said the ESPN-NFL deal “surely raises competition concerns.”
Throughout the offseason, the NFL and ESPN have been in heavy talks about a major deal.
It was reported last month that the two juggernauts were “inside the five-yard line” in their negotiations.
The deal gives ESPN access to RedZone, NFL Network, and three more regular-season games.
ESPN also receives the league’s fantasy football operation while the NFL keeps control of NFL Films and NFL.com.
NFL Network began in 2003 and has been a competitor to ESPN.
But the NFL Network has found it hard to be an alternative to ESPN, which focuses more on the NFL than any other sport.
The exact nature of the changes is not fully clear.
Commissioner Roger Goodell appeared on SportsCenter this week to reassure fans there would be no change to NFL Red Zone’s current format.
“Red Zone will stay the same,” he said.
“It will continue to be produced in this building,” Goodell added as he spoke from the NFL’s office in Inglewood, California.
“I don’t think fans will see any different.
“ESPN purchased the Red Zone name and they will be able to utilize that for other sports.
“College football and other things and I think that could be an exciting thing for our fans to see a Red Zone in college football or other sports.
“That’s something ESPN now own and have the ability to do that, but as far as NFL Red Zone, there won’t be any changes for our fans.”
