Sydney Sweeney shows off stunning figure as she poses in bra and stockings

SYDNEY Sweeney has earned her acting stripes — and now she’s wearing them, too.

The US star, 27, posed in red and white tights with a matching bra top and helmet for W Magazine.

In other shots she wore a red Balenciaga dress with a football and high heels and a silver Miu Miu gown.

Sydney is one of the most in-demand women in Hollywood, after TV show Euphoria — for which she is currently filming a third series — put her name in lights six years ago.

Now, she is also taking the leading role in a new biographical film about US female boxer Christy Martin.

Director David Michod said: “Sydney trained her butt off to play the part.

“The beauty of Sydney is she turned up every day with her tail wagging, ready to go.

“No matter how tough it was, she was like a ray of sunshine.”

Meanwhile Sydney has just cleaned up by turning her used bathwater into limited edition bars of soap.

Sydney created her Bathwater Bliss with Dr. Squatch, who made 5,000 bars that come with a certificate saying they come from the water she bathed in.

She said: “When fans start asking for your bathwater, either ignore it or turn it into a soap.

“It’s weird in the best way.”

Lottery officials urge winner to step forward as $1.1 million still sitting unclaimed – and time is running out

A Powerball lottery card rests on a table, Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Lottery officials say sales have been robust since no one won Wednesday’s estimated $500 million jackpot. It will be the biggest U.S. jackpot ever, beyond the previous record of a $656 million Mega Millions prize won in 2012 by players […][/caption]

LOTTERY officials have issued an urgent warning as a $1.1 million ticket still sits unclaimed.

A lottery winner has yet to claim the massive “lucky day” lotto prize months after it was announced.

Lottery officials have urged whoever won the huge sum to step forward.

The jackpot prize is dangerously close to going completely unclaimed with the winner soon to lose out on their cash.

Lottery prizes often go unclaimed in the US despite being won.

There are several reasons a prize could go unclaimed but lottery bosses are often forced to track down winners who don’t step forward.

Lottery bosses at the Illinois Lottery are trying to track down the winner of a $1.1 million jackpot.

The ticket was drawn on September 8 2024 and was bought as part of the Lucky Day Lottery at a liquor store in Chicago.

Players are given one year from the date of the draw to come forward with their claim, if they don’t they wont be able to claim the prize.

There are currently four more Lucky Day prizes going unclaimed, two worth $550,000, one worth $300,000 and one worth $250,000.

Millions of dollars are won in the lottery every year but many prizes go unclaimed.

Prizes could go unclaimed for several reasons, tickets could get lost and people could be unaware they have won.

Usually if prize money goes unclaimed it will be channelled back into the lottery or put to good causes.

The current Lucky Day draw has a jackpot prize of $100,000 and will close tonight.

The Lucky Day draw offers people feeling lucky the chance to choose five numbers between 1 and 45 with tickets costing $1.

If their numbers come up on their chosen draw they can win massive prizes.

Prize sums vary draw by draw with some getting as large as the unclaimed $1.1 million.

Other prizes can be relatively small like the current $100,000 draw.

Illinois Lottery officials have warned the winner of the unclaimed $1.1m that they only have three months left to claim their prize.

When September 8th passes the lucky winner will be left with nothing to show for their gamble.

The Illinois Lottery has a list of unclaimed prizes on their website.

Lottery winnings: lump sum or annuity?

Players who win big on lottery tickets typically have a choice to make: lump sum or annuity?

The two payout methods can impact how much money you get from your prize.

Annuities pay out slowly in increments, often over 30 years.

Lump sums pay all at once but in a smaller amount, as taxes are withheld in one go. That means 24% of your prize goes to Uncle Sam right away. Many states tax winnings as well.

Annuities can provide winners time to set up the financial infrastructure required to take in a life-changing amount of money, but lump sums have the benefit of being taxed only once.

Inflation is also worth considering when making a choice, as payouts do not adjust with the value of a dollar. That means that you’ll likely be getting less valuable money towards the end of an annuity.

Each state and game pays out prizes differently, so it’s best to check with your state’s lottery to confirm payment policies. A financial advisor can also help you weigh the pros and cons of each option.

Experts have varying opinions on whether to take the lump sum or take the annuity.

Belgium 4 Wales 3: De Bruyne breaks Welsh hearts after thrilling three-goal comeback and controversial VAR farce

KEVIN DE BRUYNE broke Wales hearts on a night of World Cup qualifying chaos in Belgium.

The out-going Manchester City star scored an 88th-minute winner to inflict Craig Bellamy’s first defeat as Dragons boss and dent their automatic qualification hopes.

But where do you start to sum up this seven-goal thriller – which included an epic three-goal comeback by Wales – which was dominated by several poor refereeing decisions and lengthy VAR checks?

There were two first-half penalties awarded by referee Irfan Peljto – one for each side and both looked harsh – before Romelu Lukaku had a goal ruled out by VAR in the 80th minute because the ball went out of play in the build-up.

On a night of mayhem in Brussels, the Dragons fell 3-0 down inside 27 minutes through goals by Lukaku from the penalty spot, Youri Tielemans and Jeremy Doku as the hosts ran riot in the first half.

Spirited Wales came roaring back through goals from Harry Wilson, Sorba Thomas and Brennan Johnson.

Yet De Bruyne had the final say with a classy finish when the star midfielder was left unmarked at the back post.

It left the visitors floored as Bellamy tasted a loss for the first time in ten matches since he became boss last July.

Wales now trail North Macedonia by a point in Group J in their quest to reach the finals in USA, Mexico and Canada next summer with the Belgians only three points behind with two games in hand.

To compound Bellamy’s frustrations, the 45-year-old, who spent two years at Anderlecht, is due to return to Belgium for a friend’s wedding later this week.

Pre-match, Bellamy had hailed his first 12 months in the Wales job as the “best year” of his life.

But, after Spurs legend Jan Vertonghen received a heartfelt farewell from the Belgian public, Bellamy’s Dragons were left furious by the award of Lukaku’s 15th-minute penalty.

De Bruyne’s shot hit the arm of Brennan Johnson from a short distance but Bosnian ref Peljto pointed to the spot.

A lengthy VAR check did not overturn what looked to be a harsh decision and Napoli striker Lukaku slotted home his 89th international goal.

Wales were rocked and failed to recover as Belgium cut them to ribbons in a dangerous attacking display.

Tielemans doubled the hosts’ lead on 19 minutes when the Aston Villa midfielder, captain for the night, hit the top corner with a side-footed finish.

It was a slick team move from Rudi Garcia’s men with De Bruyne, Leandro Trossard and Maxim de Cuyper involved before Tielemans was left unmarked to beat Karl Darlow.

Wales almost halved the deficit instantly but David Brooks missed a glorious chance before Ben Davies forced Nottingham Forest keeper Matz Sels into a scrambling save.

De Bruyne rolled an effort past the post but Manchester City wideman Doku made no mistake when he cut in on his left foot and fired past Darlow despite the Leeds stopper getting a hand to his shot.

Wales, who had never won on Belgian soil, were handed a lifeline on the stroke of half-time when Sels was deemed to foul Chris Mepham when he clattered into the defender trying to punch a high ball away.

It appeared another harsh call by ref Peljto and Wilson scored from the spot by sending Sels the wrong way for his 14th Dragons goal.

Trossard and Lukaku wasted chances to put the game to bed and Wales netted a second on 51 minutes when Wilson set up Thomas to slot home.

Wales were in dreamland when Johnson headed home from Thomas’ centre before De Bruyne scored his 31st Belgium goal in his final act before he was substituted to crush Bellamy and Co.

Shoppers slam popular exercise company’s ‘disgraceful’ recall after 111 injuries lead to concussions & broken toes

A MAJOR fitness company has issued a recall for its adjustable dumbbells after injuries were reported.

The dumbbells were once sold at Costco, and millions could be impacted by the recall.

They were also available at Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and via Amazon.

Johnson Health Tech Trading and the Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall for BowFlex 552 adjustable dumbbells and 1090 adjustable dumbbells.

But some are blasting Johnson Health Tech for not providing enough payback.

B-OW-FLEX

The Bowflex products are adjustable, but its weight-switching ability has come with an unfortunate side effect.

“The weight plates can dislodge from the handle during use, posing an impact hazard,” Bowflex explained in its recall notice.

Johnson Health Tech Trading, which took over Bowflex in 2024, told Fox Business that the faulty dumbbells predate its ownership of Bowflex.

“Over 95% of the more than 3.8 million BowFlex dumbbell models subject to this voluntary recall were sold during a twenty-year period by Nautilus Inc., which is no longer in business,” the company said.

“Despite having no obligation to do so, Johnson Health Tech Trading is stepping up to provide a remedy to customers who purchased recalled dumbbells from Nautilus,” it said.

Nautilus had received hundreds of reports of plates dislodging from sold units.

111 of those incidents included an injury like “concussions, abrasions, broken toes or contusions,” a CPSC report said.

The recall applies to products sold between May 2004 and May 2025.

WHAT TO DO

If you have one of the covered products, CPSC suggests that you stop using it.

Johnson Health Tech Trading is contacting all known purchasers directly, according to CPSC.

If you are not contacted but still believe you qualify, you can reach out to Johnson Health or Bowflex directly.

Consumers can request a refund in the form of a replacement unit, a voucher, or a one-year membership to the JRNY fitness app. However, the recall may not cover the full value of either the original purchase price, or the purchase price for a full replacement.

To check if the recall applies to you, look for a serial number on the tray holding the dumbbells.

A list of qualifying serial numbers is available on CPSC’s website.

Some may be able to qualify for full refunds via voucher.

REELING OVER RECALL

Many fitness buffs found the offerings by Johnson Health Tech to be lacking.

“I got offered $60 voucher,” one said on Reddit. “The new set is $429 and after taxes and the shipping they will likely charge would be over $500 so the $60 voucher basically turns into a 14% coupon while I am left without the product I purchased.”

“This company is turning a safety recall into an opportunity to sell new products,” another complained. “This is disgraceful.”

MORE RECALLS

Paying attention to product recalls can keep you safe — and provide an opportunity for benefits.

Recalls can be especially urgent when they involve food.

Contaminated eggs were recently recalled after being sold at Walmart and Safeway.

A popular medicine was recently recalled due to a fungus contamination incident.
