The biggest shakeups in the world of television ratings for 2025 are well in place now. The BARC India Ratings released today, Week 49 of 2025, 18 December 2025, give us just that!! The Finale Week of Bigg Boss 19 on Colors TV ticks all the buckets as it secures the top position across GECS, with a TVR of 2.2. Anupamaa (Star Plus) is forced to take the 2nd spot owing to the high popularity that the finals of Bigg Boss garnered, with a TVR of 2.1. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) is the next with a TVR of 2.0. Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment S3 (Colors TV) rises after a slight dip last week to get a TVR of 1.9. Zee TV’s top show Tumm Se Tumm Tak continues to shine with 1. 9 TVR.
Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus) gets a TVR of 1.9 and 1.6, respectively, in its two slots. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Sony SAB) and Zee TV shows Vasudha and Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan remain consistent at a TVR of 1.8.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) sees a slight rise to take a TVR of 1.7. Aarti Anjali Awasthi (Star Plus) is the next with 1.4 TVR. Zee TV shows Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile and Jagadhatri see a rise with a TVR of 1.4. It’s a brigade of Colors TV shows – Mangal Lakshmi, Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, Tu Juliet Jatt Di and Mannat Har Khushi Paan Ki with a joint TVR of 1.2.
Colors TV show Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav gets a TVR of 1.1. Star Plus show Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki sees a drastic drop from 1.4 (opening rating) to 1.1 this week. Jhanak (Star Plus) also secures a TVR of 1.1. Itti Si Khushi (Sony SAB), Saru (Zee TV) and Indian Idol (Sony Entertainment Television) get a TVR of 1.0. Newly launched Colors TV show Seher Hone Ko Hai drops further to secure a TVR of 0.9. Colors TV’s Binddii and Zee TV’s Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah get a joint TVR of 0.9.
Overall, Bigg Boss 19 gains momentum in its finale week and secures the No 1 spot. Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi remain consistent. Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment S3 continues its run with a good rating. Saru needs to up the ante as it is the only show on the channel that is not having an upward graph. Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki’s drastic drop in its second week is worrisome. Binddii, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi, Seher Hone Ko Hai will need to get better returns.
