We are into the final few weeks of the year 2025. The year has seen huge ups and downs with regard to television shows and their efficiency in terms of numbers. This week sees Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) securing a TVR of 2.0. Anupamaa (Star Plus) sees a drop from 2.1 to 2.0 and stands joint as the No 1 show along with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Tumm Se Tumm Tak and Vasudha, the Zee TV shows which have been doing extremely well in recent times, take the joint No 2 spot across GECs with a TVR of 1.9. Ganga Main Ki Betiyan (Zee TV), Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Sony SAB) and Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus) stay joint with a TVR of 1.8.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) has a TVR of 1.7. Star Plus’ Udne Ki Aasha and Colors TV’s reality show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment S3 get a TVR of 1.6. Jagadhatri (Zee TV) and Aarti Anjali Awasthi (Star Plus) secure a TVR of 1.4. Colors TV’s shows Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki and Tu Juliet Jatt Di see a rise and take their TVR to 1.3. Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile sees a drop and takes a TVR of 1.2. Colors TV’s Mangal Lakshmi and Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav get a TVR of 1.2. Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar (Colors TV) drops a bit to get a TVR of 1.1. Star Plus’ Jhanak and Zee TV’s Saru also get a TVR of 1.1.
Star Plus’ Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki sees a further drop and takes a TVR of 1.0. Seher Hone Ko Hai on Colors TV gets a TVR of 0.9. Indian Idol (Sony Entertainment Television) gets a TVR of 0.9.
Overall, as we bid adieu to 2025, the Hindi Television shows are poised for newer changes and shifts with the competition amongst top-rated shows peaking. The year 2026 will surely bring new surprises when it comes to the ratings table. While Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi continue their dominance at the top, shows like Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Vasudha, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan show an excellent upward graph in ratings. New shows Jagadhatri, Tu Juliet Jatt Di are promising. Shows Mangal Lakshmi, Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, Jhanak, Saru, Itti Si Khushi, Binddii, Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi need to get better.
