Kirsten Storms, 41, first made her debut on General Hospital two decades ago in 2005.

She also appeared as her famous alter-ego, Maxie Jones, on the spin-off, General Hospital: Night Shift.

In a new Instagram video, the actress admitted that she plans to make a huge change in her personal life.

The long-time soap star admitted that she plans to relocate from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee.

This also includes her 11-year-old daughter Harper whom she shares with her ex-husband, Brandon Borash.

In the clip, she admitted that she has been toying with the decision to move cross-country since March.

This is when she first spoke to Frank Valentini, the executive producer of General Hospital.

She explained: “I had a conversation with him about my reasons for wanting to move and my desire to not leave the show.

“When you approach a job like this, they can always be like, ‘Forget it, I will let you out of your contract if you’re going to leave the state.’

“General Hospital did not do that, which was kind of amazing because I also asked for some time off.”

The actress revealed that she has already filmed her final scenes on the show for now, but she might make a return later in the year.

She said that she has already taken part in her “final taping day for the year.”

The star added: “It’s possible I will be back in December, maybe November.

“I promise you the story line they have going on until my return to Port Charles is kind of incredible. You guys are gonna freak out actually.”
