But Crawford has had to KO claims he is coming into the bout with an injured shoulder amid wild internet conspiracies.
“Yeah, my shoulder’s messed up everyone,” a bemused Crawford sarcastically responded when probed on the injury claims.
“Don’t tell Canelo! Maybe it’s the right, maybe it’s the left. It’s both of them I’m having problems with my shoulders.
“But shh, keep that under wraps.”
Crawford, 37, started his career winning world titles in the 135lb lightweight division.
But he added 140lb, 147lb and 154lb belts to his collection to become a four-division champion.
Canelo, 35, meanwhile also won belts at 154lb but even claimed gold as high as the 175lb light-heavyweight division.
Crawford has had to jump TWO weights from his last fight – when he edged past Israil Madrimov to win the WBA belt in August 2024.

It was far from a vintage performance like the one he produced to beat Errol Spence Jr, 35, in their undisputed welterweight clash in 2023.
But Canelo also laboured past Cuban William Scull, 33, in May before facing off to confirm his blockbuster with Crawford.
And following concerns over Crawford’s last fight and drastic move up in weight – the 41-0 American pointed to Canelo’s most recent bout instead.
“Listen, like I said before, we’re not gonna talk about the past,” Crawford said. “We’re gonna talk about the present and future.
“His last fight wasn’t spectacular either, so you know, why talk about my last performance?
“Let’s talk about his last performance. So don’t do that with me and say, ‘Oh well your last performance was this.
“We gotta talk about his last performance as well.”
