Big Brother star Rylie Jeffries arrested for ‘public intoxication’ before pro bull rider signed on to show

BIG Brother star Rylie Jeffries was arrested for ‘public intoxication’ and ‘driving with a suspended license’ before being cast on the CBS show, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

The Oklahoma professional bull rider also has a lengthy history of traffic run-ins with the law – most recently just a few months before he moved into the Big Brother house.

Rylie, 27, is one of the contestants that will be vying for the $750,000 cash prize for season 27 – which premieres on CBS tonight, Thursday July 10th.

However, before the Luther, Oklahoma native flew to Los Angeles for his shot at reality TV fame, he appeared to have a troubled history in his home state.

According to court records obtained by The U.S. Sun, Rylie was arrested in Oklahoma for public intoxication and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

The court papers state Rylie “appeared in a drunken condition” while cruising down State Highway 33 and Main Street in the city of Perkins, OK, in 2018.

Despite being “intoxicated,” Rylie chose to “unlawfully, willfully, knowingly and wrongfully drive and operate a certain motor vehicle,” the documents state.

Additionally, he was charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

The rodeo star was driving his 2016 Chevrolet truck down the Oklahoma highway when the incident occurred.

Rylie pled guilty and was forced to pay hundreds of dollars in fines as well as have his license revoked for 6 months.

More recently, Rylie found his way back to court after being charged with his second offense of driving with a suspended license.

In August 2024, Rylie was caught yet again driving under suspension, which means operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

He was cruising down Highway 66 in Oklahoma, this time in a 1993 Chevrolet truck.

Rylie appeared in court the following month where he was convicted and entered a no contest plea.

He once again was forced to pay hundreds in fines and the case was quickly closed in September 2024.

In addition to the two criminal violations, Rylie also has an apparent need for speed as he has a long history of traffic citations in Oklahoma.

Rylie was charged and convicted for speeding in May 2022, February 2022, January 2021, as well as once again in September 2024 for not wearing a seatbelt while driving.

GIDDY UP!

When Rylie isn’t speeding down the highways, he is typically getting an adrenaline rush elsewhere as he is a full-time professional bull rider.

He’s gained acclaim for his skills at the rodeo and thinks those will help him win this season of Big Brother.

Rylie gushed: “I think I have what it takes to win Big Brother because I have the mindset.

“I’ve ridden bulls for 15 years, and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’ve been thrown, been bucked off.

“I’ve been thrown down, broken legs, jaw twice, and I haven’t quit.”

He also boasted that this experience is monumental for him, as he’s just a “small town kid with some big old dreams” as he moves to Hollywood
