BIG Brother legend Janelle Pierzina has predicted the season 27 winner – and her ‘unpopular’ choice is far different from what fans think will happen.
The reality TV icon also got candid about what shows she has turned down over the years following successful stints on Big Brother, The Traitors, and The Amazing Race.

In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Janelle, 45, shared her thoughts about who will come out on top of this current season and her shock at close friend, Rachel Reilly, joining the house.
According to the Minnesota-based real estate powerhouse, she had “no idea” that Rachel, 40, would be on the current season.
“We just went on a cruise together, and, this is what I heard from her family, is that the second she got done with the cruise, she got a call from CBS, but she didn’t tell me about it.
“I didn’t know anything about it. I think she was a last-minute add-on. I still talk to her, at least, once a month.
“But I didn’t know until those clues came out [online]. And when I started figuring out the clues, then I was like, ‘okay, well, I’m just going to call her.’
“And I called her, and it went right to voicemail. And I kept calling he,r and it kept going to voicemail.
“I’m like, ‘her phone’s off.’ But she can only tell her family, and that’s fine,” Janelle spilled.
When asked who her pick to take home the $750,000 prize this season, Janelle then made a surprising prediction.

“I think that [Rachel’s] odds are way higher than anyone’s thinking. If she can get to the end and she can go far, she will win again.
“And she’s going to be able to prove it with gameplay and social and strategy, because these other house guests don’t have that ability.
“Yeah, they might get through some competitions and this and that. But if Rachel goes deep into the game, she is strategic.
“And she will do some really flashy moves, and her resume is going to be way longer, and she’s going to know who to take to the end.
“It’s easier when you’ve played before and you know what to do. So if they’re dumb enough to bring her, then that’s on them.
“I’m definitely going to the finale if she can pull out another win because I have to support my friend,” she confessed.
Currently, most of the contestants on this season of Big Brother, and the fans alike, assume Rachel’s chances of winning are slim, as she’s already won a season in the past.
Rachel won Big Brother in season 13 after competing in season 12 the year before – where she met her husband, co-star Brendon Villegas.
Many viewers and competitors currently in the Big Brother house presume that, due to Rachel already having a win, she won’t be able to secure enough votes a second time if she were brought to the finale.
This has made Rachel a “shield” of sorts, as many think that if they bring her to the end, they would win over her.
SCREEN QUEENS
While Rachel and Janelle never appeared on the same season together, they have remained friends over the years as two of the most iconic Big Brother players of all time.
Janelle competed on seasons 6, 7, 14, and 22 of Big Brother – which included two All-Stars seasons.
She also appeared on season 31 of The Amazing Race alongside fellow Big Brother star, Britney Haynes.
In 2022, she was the co-winner of the $100,000 prize on the USA Network reality show, Snake in the Grass.
Janelle’s impressive strategy and risky moves on the competition series have also landed her a partnership with gamblingsites.com, which recently ranked America’s favorite reality shows.

Although she’s built an impressive on-screen resume for herself, Janelle admitted there are still a number of projects she has turned down over the years.
“I’m super happy with my life right now. I’ve said no to a lot of shows, and I’m very happy with what I’ve said yes to.
“So I’m just keeping it real simple. I said no to The Challenge five times because I just don’t think it’s the right show for me.
“They offered me a show this year, actually, with Bravo or whatever. But they were like, ‘Yeah, we can totally offer you this, but you need to get your license in California and shoot it here.’
“And I was like… Do you understand how I’m running a real estate. I can’t just take the summer off.”
Janelle is currently a successful realtor in Minnesota, where she has built a beautiful life with her husband, Jess DeSanto, and their three kids.
