BIG Brother star Katherine Woodman wants to ‘pick up where she left off’ with Rylie Jeffries following their evictions – but he ‘needs space’ after the mass fan backlash, an insider has told The U.S. Sun.
The lovebirds’ romance was off to a whirlwind start inside the Big Brother house, but now that they both have been evicted, the dynamics of their relationship have seemingly changed.

Rylie, 27, and Katherine, 23, both got swept up in their showmance, which started right at the beginning of season 27.
The two were inseparable during their time in the Big Brother house, and things escalated so quickly, Rylie even vowed he was going to marry Katherine just a couple weeks into knowing her.
Many viewers at home presumed that Rylie was more into the relationship than Katherine – who many thought was using her showmance as a strategy for the game.
However, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as an insider close to the Oklahoma bull rider said that Rylie is the one who needs some time and space after receiving mass fan backlash.
The source told The U.S. Sun: “Now that they’re both out of the house, it’s probably the opposite of what people would expect.
“Rylie is actually the more hesitant one. He needed some room to breathe and think things through.
“Right when Katherine got out a week later, I know she wanted to see him and pick things up where they left off, but Rylie more so wanted to slow things down.
“Again, it was a shock for him to get out of that house and see the reactions from people. Could not have been farther from how he thought he’d be received.”

They emphasized that Rylie “still really cares” for Katherine, but he still needs to “process everything.”
“Katherine is pushing harder for them to get together, and it’s not that Rylie doesn’t want to. He definitely does.
“But he just needs time. He needs space. The reaction to him has changed things,” they added.
WRITE A BAD SHOWMANCE
Rylie and Katherine became the most buzzed-about contestants on season 27 due to their intense relationship.
All season, fans have been outraged about feeling “uncomfortable” with the way Rylie has been talking to Katherine, since their showmance began to heat up in July.
During an “intense” clip from the livestreams in August, Rylie and Katherine were seen having an intimate chat about their romance.
The lovebirds spoke about how things would progress on the outside, with Rylie even declaring that he was going to marry Katherine.
Katherine then proposed that the two could break up, to which Rylie pushed that them splitting is not an option, and the two will definitely be “married.”
His persistence resulted in a variety of uncomfortable facial expressions from Katherine – which fans noticed and had begged producers that it’s time to step in.
“Rylie is an a**hole and I’m tired. Katherine doesn’t owe him s**t. Production please do something,” one person begged.

Since being out of the Big Brother house, The U.S. Sun reported that Rylie had left Los Angeles and has been spending time with his family in his native, Oklahoma.
“Rylie flew out to Oklahoma shortly after the eviction to go be with family. They usually keep contestants a little longer.
“He has the full support of his family, and even some of the evicted house guests from this season have reached out to support him.”
