Despite the terrifying injuries, Rylie, 27, has continued to build his career as a professional bull rider.
The Oklahoma native’s first entry into PBR, the Professional Bull Riding organization, came in 2019, where he was ranked 308th in the world.
He went on to tour around the USA, ranking #159 from competitions in Oklahoma and Missouri that same year.
The bulls Rylie rode his first year in the PBR were named Shattered Dreams, Bad Liar, and Buzz.
Due to the pandemic, the PBR took time off from hosting events and competitions, but Rylie made a comeback for the Challenger Series in 2022.
Rylie competed at the Evansville PBR Presented by Shoe Sensation in Indiana and the Nothin’ But Try Ranch PBR in Oklahoma in 2022.
He ranked #246 in the Challenger Global series and made it to #160 on the Challenger Series domestic competition.
According to records, Rylie, who is listed at 6’4”, has not won any competitions through PBR.

Despite the number of rodeos he’s participated in, Rylie’s lifetime earnings for PBR competitions is $0.
In more recent years, Rylie has gone south and has been regularly competing in bull riding competitions in Mexico.
He has been a returning rider at Cuernos Chuecos in Pachuca, Mexico; however, it’s unclear if Rylie has earned money from those competitions.
TAKIN’ NO BULL
The Oklahoma native boasted about his dangerous profession in his pre-season interview before joining the season 27 Big Brother house.
Rylie predicted his rodeo skills would help him win the show, saying: “I think I have what it takes to win Big Brother because I have the mindset.
“I’ve ridden bulls for 15 years, and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’ve been thrown, been bucked off.
“I’ve been thrown down, broken legs, jaw twice, and I haven’t quit.”
He also boasted that this experience is monumental for him, as he’s just a “small town kid with some big old dreams” as he moved to Hollywood.
“It’s everything I’ve always wanted in life. I never expected to be sitting in the freaking [dairy room] right now, but here I am!
“And everything happens for a reason. I feel so blessed,” he said in an interview with Parade.

In terms of what he will bring to the show that “nobody has before”, Rylie brought it back once again to his bull riding.
“A bull riding ‘son of a’ that means business, baby! I don’t know if y’all ever had a bull rider on this.
“But I mean business. I know what I want, so that’s what I bring to the show. I bring the damn determination, baby, the grit. And I ain’t letting go.

Unfortunately, the reaction to Rylie on this season of Big Brother wasn’t overwhelmingly positive, as many fans were furious over his behavior toward girlfriend Katherine Woodman.
His comments were perceived by a majority of the viewers as “creepy,” and there were many calls for him to be kicked off the show before he was officially evicted last Thursday.
Big Brother airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 pm EST on CBS – with live feeds airing 24/7 on Paramount+ and PlutoTV.
