A CAMPER believes he’s unlocked the secret behind one of the world’s most famous cryptids after finding a so-called Bigfoot corpse.
Charles “Snake” Stuart, also known as the Bigfoot hunter, presented his stunning findings in a bizarre exhibition on Wednesday.

He brought the massive 8-foot-tall hairy body to the New York State Fair in Syracuse and displayed it behind a glass case.
The grisly figure was placed on top of a wooden coffin in a dark room with spooky growls playing on speakers.
Beside the alleged body is a video of Star Trek actor William Shatner reading a script written by Stuart, which explains that Bigfoot is real.
The hunter said that he paid the star to read his story to every visitor who stops by to see the so-called evidence.
Snake claims he discovered the corpse, whom he calls Dack, while he was camping in the lake town Old Forge, New York, which is about two hours west of Albany.
He says he found him after he played audio of howls in the woods and heard howls back, Syracuse.com reported.
When he walked toward the noise, Snake said that he noticed a foul smell, and then allegedly stumbled upon the corpse.
“He was dead when I found him,” Stuart told Syracuse.com.
“He was decomposing. We had to rip some of its guts out and try to salvage it, taxidermy style.”
Stuart says he then took Bigfoot’s body to a garage in Saranac, New York, which is a village near the Adirondack Mountains.
A friend came over and taxidermied the body, and Dack has been in his possession ever since, the hunter claimed.
DNA CLAIMS
Stuart’s goal is to raise enough money to have the body scientifically authenticated as a Neanderthal-human hybrid.
He says that a DNA lab at Cornell University dismissed him, but claims that he went on to work with their veterinarian lab.
He claimed that those alleged lab results show that Dack’s DNA is mainly Neanderthal, but didn’t provide any proof to back his story.
Stuart is thinking of releasing this information before the fair ends.
The Bigfoot hunter said that he’d had a great experience showing off his exhibition and sharing his tales.
What is Bigfoot?
Here’s what you need to know…
- Bigfoot, or the Sasquatch, is believed by some to be a hairy bipedal ‘ape-like’ creature
- They are said to live in the wilderness of North America, appearing in the distance or leaving footprints
- Bigfoot ‘hotspots’ are generally found in the Pacific Northwest, particularly the states of Oregon, Washington and British Columbia
- Some believe that Bigfoot is a missing link between humans and other great apes
- Mainstream scientists tend to believe that Bigfoot is little more than folklore
- Most theories around Bigfoot suggest that they are sightings of other large animals, rather than a new ape species
- Descriptions of Bigfoot suggest the animal is between 6 foot and 9 foot tall
- Bigfoot is generally described as being covered in dark hair, and as leaving behind huge footprints up to 24 inches in length
“Everyone here has been loving the big boy, really enjoying hearing the story,” Stuart told the local outlet.
“We’re thrilled about it, honestly.”
Stuart’s exhibition will be showcased in the horticulture building from August 20, 2025, to September 1, 2025.
This is just the latest in a string of alleged Bigfoot sightings.
In May 2025, allegedly Big Foot was sighted in the woods of Plum Creek, Michigan.
And in 2023, a video allegedly showed Bigfoot crossing a river in Michigan while carrying a baby, prompting online discussion.
