BRYSON DeChambeau has been labeled a “captain’s nightmare” ahead of this weekend’s Ryder Cup.

DeChambeau has proved a divisive pick by U.S captain Keegan Bradley.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed a strong 2025 and returns to the competition for the first time in four years.
But Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee believes the big-driving star will be “difficult” to be paired with.
“This is one of the reasons why I think he’s gonna be such a difficult person to get paired with,” Camblee said in the run-up to Friday’s tee-off.
“No doubt he’s one hell of a golfer. No doubt.
“He has his moments of generosity with fans I’ve heard about.
“But he’s an odd duck when he’s trying to blend in with the team and he has so many potential bulletin board mistakes.
“And I think he would be a captain’s nightmare.”
Chamblee continued to go scorched earth on DeChambeau during a stunning on-air rant.
Team Europe’s Rory McIlroy suggested earlier this week DeChambeau can only get attention by “mentioning other people.”
Chamblee was unimpressed by DeChambeau’s response, which saw the LIV golf star champion his popular YouTube channel.
“I thought it was pretty poignant there when he asked about the retort of Rory that he didn’t mention the goal this week of a Ryder Cup,” Chamblee continued.
“Nope. He didn’t do that. He didn’t talk about playing on a team and how much that meant. Nope. He didn’t do that.
“What he did do was talk about his YouTube channel, which, you know, if we want to talk about the numbers that are generated from that it’s pretty dubious.

THE 45th Ryder Cup takes place from September 26-28 with the US team desperate to wrestle back the crown from Europe.
Scottie Scheffler and the American side will battle Rory McIlroy’s European team in New York.
The infamous Bethpage Black course will be the venue for the latest edition of the pulsating golf tournament.
NBC will broadcast the competition in it’s entirety in the United States.
Friday’s foursomes and fourballs will be live on USA Network from 7 am ET to 6 pm ET.
Saturday’s action will take place during the same hours live on NBC.
And Sunday’s singles will also be on NBC from 12 pm ET to 6 pm ET.

“I have no doubt that bots are generating a lot of those those views, there may be some interest as well.
“But that’s what he wants to talk about not the team not the Ryder Cup.”
U.S captain Bradley is preparing to announce his pairings for Friday’s morning session.
And he admitted part of his decision was managing the “personalities” within the group.
“I think foursomes is obviously the tougher format to pair because there’s so many more factors,” Bradley said.
“There’s the golf ball. You really want to match up the personalities with foursomes because it is a way tougher format.”
