Ayushi Khurana who plays the lead role of Reet in Zee TV’s well-acclaimed show Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is excited as the show now enters a crucial phase where Raghav and Reet are forced to stay apart, owing to the complexities involved in their Aata Saata marriage deal. The show is produced by Rose Audio Visual and Sonnal A Kakar.
The audience witnessed the shocking turnaround of Unnati, who utilised the deal to her advantage, ultimately sending Reet out of the Suryavanshi house.
We are counting on the hidden love story of Raghav and Reet for the TRPs to go up.
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Ayushi Khurana about the present phase in the storyline, the complexities involved and what the viewers can expect now.
She says, “The twist was shocking for us as well because we honestly did not expect it. But I think it is a great decision — now that Reet and Raghav have confessed their love for each other, we needed some drama too. I like the idea that even though they are separated, their love is so strong that they still meet secretly. It is exciting to portray that. How they break societal norms and fight against all odds to be together — that is a different and powerful journey, and I think it is going to be a lot of fun. I just hope the audience enjoys it too.”
Tell her that the show has been consistent in ratings, but has a potential to go higher, and she says, “Yes, I also feel that it is consistent, which is good, but it has the potential to go higher. And I think that will happen when Buaji and Reet have a face-off — that is what I believe. But even the current drama is good. Even though Reet and Raghav are apart right now, they are still secretly meeting, and their hidden love story — I think the audience will enjoy that. That could be the reason for the TRP to go up. So we are counting on that.”
Talking about the recent explosive sequence of Unnati’s expose leading to Reet’s exit from the house, Ayushi talks about the good performances and her favourite sequence in all of it. “The entire sequence was very intense and emotional for all of us, and everyone performed so well — really, really well. I personally loved the whole sequence, but the best part was when, after everyone leaves, Unnati picks up the mangalsutra and says, ‘Now I won’t let go of Reet.’ That was the highlight for me.”
Looking back at her journey with the show and in the role of Reet Chaudhary Suryavanshi, Ayushi avers, “My journey so far has been truly incredible, and every single day, I learn something new through my character. I love Reet and this character is extremely close to my heart. I want to thank all the fans for the adorable and beautiful edits.
