Budget carrier Avelo Airlines has launched Avelo PLUS, a membership designed to make flying more affordable and convenient.

For just $49 in the first year, members can unlock discounted fares to destinations like Los Angeles, Orlando, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.

The airline says the program simplifies travel while offering extra value for frequent fliers.

Members gain access to special pricing unavailable to non-members, ensuring the best possible deals every time they book.

They also enjoy early boarding privileges, allowing a smoother start to every trip.

Seasonal promotions and exclusive offers run throughout the year, adding to the program’s appeal.

Those who renew annually receive a $50 Avelo Cash bonus, which can be used toward future bookings.

Even better, membership perks can be shared with up to nine people, making it ideal for families or small travel groups.

The launch of Avelo PLUS builds on the airline’s mission to make air travel simple, low-cost, and accessible to more passengers.

Since its debut in 2021, the carrier has expanded quickly, now serving nearly 50 destinations across the US and internationally.

Its network includes vacation favorites such as Las Vegas, Orlando, and Puerto Rico.

Avelo’s strategy focuses on flying to smaller, less crowded airports, helping travelers skip long lines and packed terminals.

With operational bases in Burbank, Philadelphia, and Raleigh-Durham, the airline offers easy alternatives to major hubs.

The planes serve both domestic and international routes, including popular spots in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Meanwhile, back in May, frequent travelers got another reason to cheer.

JetBlue and United Airlines announced a major collaboration linking their loyalty programs in a new initiative called Blue Sky.

The program allows United’s MileagePlus members to earn and redeem miles on JetBlue flights, including hundreds of routes in and out of New York City and Boston.

TrueBlue members will also be able to use points on United flights, opening access to international destinations like Cape Town and Tahiti.

Standard perks like priority boarding, complimentary preferred and extra-legroom seats, and same-day flight changes will now apply when members fly on the partner airline.

Passengers can book across both networks using either airline’s website or app, making planning trips simpler and faster.

As part of the agreement, JetBlue will provide United access to slots at JFK International Airport for up to seven daily round-trip flights starting in 2027.

United will also move services for hotels, rental cars, cruises, and travel insurance to JetBlue’s Paisly platform, giving travelers a more streamlined booking experience.
