WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark has celebrated another major career landmark this week.
The 23-year-old is the highest profile player in the WNBA despite only being in her second season.

Clark has been unveiled as Nike’s latest signature athlete.
Her Nike signature logo features two intertwined C’s, representing the connection that Clark has with her fans worldwide.
Speaking in a press release, she said, “Nike’s signature roster features
all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best
athletes in the world.
“I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create
together.”
A navy and yellow t-shirt featuring Clark’s signature logo will be
available in North America from September 1.
Additional lines will be released on October 1, featuring t-shirts,
hoodies, pants, and shorts for all ages.
“To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” Clark
added in a statement.
“People always talk about leaving your mark on the game – and this is
another way I can do that.”
The point guard gained widespread attention during her college career with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
She was then selected by the Fever as the first overall pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Clark made unwanted history during her debut for the Fever in May 2024 as she committed ten turnovers against the Connecticut Sun – the most of any rookie in the WNBA.
Despite this, Clark has taken the league by storm, winning the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year award.
Time magazine also named her as Athlete of the Year.
“At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s
greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport
itself,” said Nike executive vice president of global sports marketing
Ann Miller.
“Caitlin exemplifies both – an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game.”
Clark’s rapid rise through the WNBA is highlighted by Nike’s decision to name her as their latest signature athlete.
Miller added, “We’re excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic time for women’s basketball, and pushing the game and industry forward.”
While Clark is undoubtedly the WNBA’s biggest star, she has struggled with injuries throughout the 2025 season.
The point guard has been instrumental to the WNBA’s increased
attendances and television figures.
But a groin injury in mid-July has seen Clark sidelined for much of the 2025 campaign.
