Superstore’s Dina actress unrecognizable as she reunites with co-star and reveals incredible weight loss
SUPERSTORE fans are doing a double-take as actress Lauren Ash looks unrecognisable following an incredible weight loss.
The star, known for her hilarious antics as the no-nonsense store manager Dina, stunned followers with her slimmer figure as she reunited with a former co-star.

Lauren is a Canadian actress, musician and comedian best known for her role as the hilariously strict and sassy Dina Fox on Superstore.
Superstore was the hit NBC sitcom set in a big-box retail store, following the daily lives of its quirky staff as they navigated office politics, demanding customers, and workplace drama.
The show became a fan favorite thanks to its mix of sharp humour and heart, with standout moments including Dina’s deadpan management style, Jonah’s awkward romances, and hilarious seasonal events like the chaotic Black Friday sales.
Lauren reunited with her former co-star Mark McKinney – who played Glenn Sturgis – the Co-Store Manager of Cloud 9 Store 1217.
She posted a TikTok with Mark doing a skit in a superstore to promote her single and tour.
In the video, Mark acts as a fan of Lauren and her music and asks about her new single and upcoming tour.
Then a customer interrupts them, asking if they work here.
The pair hilariously refuse that they work there – referencing their former characters and their jobs.
Mark even tunes in to the voice he does for Glenn.
Lauren captioned the post: “No eyeballs were harmed in the making of this promo!! STREAM “CALL ME WHEN YOU GET THIS” ANYWHERE YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC!! AND GET TICKETS TO MY TOUR!”
However, fans were left seriously distracted by Lauren’s incredible weight loss, with many calling her “unrecognizable.”
Fans flooded the comment section gushing over her, with one writing: “OMG IS THAT DINA?”
Another added: “Wow she looks so unrecognizable.”
A third penned: “She looks so unrecognizable, but in the best way possible! She was great then and is great now.”
Airing from 2015 to 2021, Superstore consistently pulled in strong ratings, earning critical praise for its clever social commentary and relatable characters — cementing it as one of the most beloved workplace comedies of the decade.
Lauren is also an alumna of both Second City Toronto Mainstage and is one half of the sketch comedy duo “Cory!”.
She is no stranger to awards, scooping two Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Improviser back-to-back in 2006 and 2007.
She didn’t stop there – winning Best Performance by a Female on TV for Almost Heroes in 2012, and Best Female Performance in a Feature Film for Dirty Singles in 2015.
Since 2020, she’s been keeping fans entertained with her own podcast, True Crime and Cocktails, alongside her cousin Christy Oxborrow.
And in a brand new twist, Lauren launched a music career in 2023, releasing her debut album in September 2025, proving she can slay on screen, behind the mic, and on stage.
She described her musical style as early 2000 Pop-punk and “if Gwen Stefani fronted Blink-182.”
The Superstore cast reunited for Nico Santos’ wedding to Survivor contestant Zeke Smith in 2023.
Nico, who played Mateo in the hit programme, looked incredible in a cream suit while his groom opted for a classic tuxedo.
But the attention was stolen by Lauren, who stunned fans with her transformation.
The actress put on a jaw-dropping display in a blue-and-burgundy dress as she took to TikTok with selfies and group shots.
Not one to be modest, she wrote: “I think I looked pretty good,” in her caption.
In 2022, the star addressed her weight loss in a lengthy Instagram post – insisting there was no “secret” to it.
She wrote, “To the countless people asking me my ‘secret,’ please stop. There is no secret.
“I removed stress from my life. That’s it. It’s amazing what our bodies hold onto when in a prolonged state of stress.”

ESPN sideline reporter Tori Petry completely wiped out in brutal collision during college football game
AN ESPN reporter was brutally levelled while covering a college football game from the sidelines.
Tori Petry was on duty on Saturday at the McLane Stadium where the Baylor Bears hosted the Kansas State Wildcats.

An intense encounter took place between the two college football teams in Waco, where the Bears won 35-34 following a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback.
But it wasn’t Baylor’s resilience on the gridiron that made headlines in Texas.
Instead, people were left talking about the shocking hit Petry took during the game.
The journalist was standing in the sidelines doing her job when the unthinkable happened.
It was during the second quarter when Kansas ace Avery Johnson was rushing forward before getting pushed out of bounds by Baylor’s Kyland Reed.
Johnson was moving in great speed and had no time to slow down as he approached the lines.
That is when the quarterback accidentally smashed right into the ESPN journalist.
Petry went flying and brutally crashed on the grass in front of thousands in attendance and millions watching from home.
Players, including Johnson, and coaches quickly went over to check on her.
Thankfully – and remarkably – Petry stood up immediately and dusted herself off.
The reporter has yet to comment on this extraordinary incident.
