Minnesota ‘assassin’ found with ‘hit-list’ of 70 names & addresses including Squad member Ilhan Omar and Jeff Bezos’ ex’

THE man accused of fatally shooting a Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband allegedly had a hit list with 70 names after being caught by police.

Vance Boelter, 57, is accused of shooting and killing Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband at their home on Saturday, along with injuring Senator John Hoffman and his wife in another shooting.

During the search for the suspect, investigators found a fake police vehicle that Boelter allegedly used to pose as a police officer to carry out the shootings.

Inside the car, police found a cache of weapons, including at least three AK-47 assault rifles and a manifesto with the names and addresses of other public officials.

There were about 70 names in the manifesto, some of which were abortion rights advocates, said law enforcement officials.

Boelter was arrested near his home in Green Isle on Sunday night after a brief manhunt.

He has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder, according to Hennepin County court records.

LIST OF DEATH

Named on the list were Senator Amy Klobuchar and “squad member” Rep. Ilhan Omar, reported The Minnesota Star Tribune.

Others include Congresswoman Kelly Morrison, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, and Jeff Bezos‘ ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

Some doctors who worked for Planned Parenthood were on the list, as well as several abortion clinics, including one that is scheduled to open in Omaha, Nebraska.

Former congressman Dean Phillips claimed in an X post that he was on the list as well, writing, “I extend heartfelt gratitude to Minnesota’s law enforcement professionals,” after Boelter’s arrest.

“Now, we must take steps to prevent political violence before it’s too late.”

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans confirmed that investigators found the manifesto in a press briefing, saying the documents “gives some indications” on a possible motive.

“This is not a document that would be like a traditional manifesto that’s a treatise on all kinds of ideology and writings, Evans said.

He called it a notebook “with a lot of lawmakers and others … as opposed to a succinct document.”

“I don’t want the public to have the impression that there’s this long manifesto that’s providing all of this information and details and then associated with names,” he added. “It’s much more about names.”

NIGHT OF TERROR

Boelter was named as a suspect on June 14 after shootings were reported at the homes of Hortman and Hoffman.

Hortman and her husband, Mark, were pronounced dead at their Brooklyn Park home.

The couple’s dog, Gilbert, was severely injured in the attack and had to be euthanized.

“Her children had to put down him after learning their parents had been murdered, former Minnesota House member Erin Koegel said on X of Hortman’s children.

“Gilbert wasn’t going to survive.

Hoffman and his wife Yvette had surgery after suffering multiple gunshot wounds at their residence in Champlin, about nine miles away from the Hortmans.

Officials said they are “cautiously optimistic” that the pair will survive what Governor Tim Walz called an “unspeakable tragedy” and a “politically motivated assassination.”

The Hoffmans’ nephew revealed that the couple had been shot 11 times during the horror attack.

He shared in a Facebook post how his aunt Yvette had thrown herself on top of her daughter to protect her.

Boelter is scheduled to appear in court on Monday for the charges against him and a federal warrant for “unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.”

His other charges will soon be upgraded as the state “intends to pursue first-degree murder charges against Boelter,” said Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty at a news conference

The Department of Justice is also deciding to throw federal charges against Boelter, which, if convicted, could result in the death penalty.

Seventies TV star who shocked by posing naked for Playboy is unrecognizable as she’s spotted in LA – can you guess who?

AN American TV icon who went from wholesome TV sister in the 70s to a sexy siren posing for Playboy in the 80s has been spotted on a day out in Los Angeles.

The actress, 67, was seen embracing the heat in a summer dress during an errands run by her home, and still has effortless chic as she strolled in a pair of shades.

Judy Norton shot to fame as Mary Ellen Walton in The Waltons from 1972 to 1981, becoming the sister figure for millions who tuned in every week to watch her.

The Waltons followed the titular family – an expansive Virginia clan including Jason (Jon Walmsley), Erin (Mary Beth McDonough), Ben (Eric Scott), Elizabeth (Kami Cotler), Jim-Bob (David W. Harper), John Sr. (Ralph White), Olivia (Michael Learned) and Esther (Ellen Corby) – as they navigate the Great Depression era and World War II.

As Mary Ellen, Judy appeared in all 212 episodes of the show’s nine-season run, playing the oldest daughter of John and Olivia.

Starting off as a tomboy figure in her younger years, Mary Ellen dreamed of a life away from the Walton Mountain before later pursuing a career as a nurse.

But after the show ended, Judy was keen to shake off the image she had made during her nine years on screen, and in 1985 stripped off for Playboy Magazine.

However, it was a decision she would later admit regretting, telling Fox News: “I was getting a lot of advice from people who were representing me at the time.

“They felt it would be a good, positive career move. I wouldn’t say that was the case and it’s one of those things that if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have made the choice.”

“I learned a lot of lessons from it, in terms of trusting my own instincts and decisions more than other people’s, even though it seemed like they knew more than me,” she added.

“Ultimately, I’m the one that had to live with a difficult decision to make at the time. It is what it is. You can only go forward.”

Since appearing in The Waltons, Judy has continued her career as an actress, appearing in episodes of TV series including Bluff, Beggars and Chooser, Stargate SG-1 and Disorganized Zone.

She also reprised her role of Mary Ellen in a string of TV Movie Specials throughout the 90s, including A Walton Wedding, A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion and Mother’s Day on Walton’s Mountain.

In 2020, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Judy brought some entertainment to fans by joining forces with a group of former child stars for Zoom-based sitcom, The Quarantine Bunch.

Based around a ‘support group for former child stars’ each episode would see former child stars, including Growing Pains’ Jeremy Miller, Danny Pintauro from Who’s The Boss and Due South’s Dean McDermott, log in to the “meeting” in order to navigate life together.

While she hasn’t been seen on screen since 2022 short movie Space Limbo, she’s now lining up a new project – writing and starring in drama Shoot Like A Girl, which is currently in pre-production.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch, and Honey Nut Cheerios Minis have all been discontinued, according to a cereal blogger.

Instagram user @the_cerealqueen said that General Mills has ceased production of the three products.

The brand confirmed the veracity of the post’s claim to Allrecipes.

The U.S. Sun reached out to General Mills for further comment.

Some products may still be available while supplies

FANS REACT

“I didn’t even know about chocolate peanut butter but now I’m missing it already,” one commented on the_cerealqueen’s Instagram post.

“Chocolate pb were my entire family’s favorite,” another commented, with a crying emoji.

“The mini oooooos were fun addition,” another comment.

Most comments focused on the chocolate peanut butter and mini varieties, with relatively few lamenting the loss of the medley crunch version.

However, the_cerealqueen called them “so underrated.”

On Reddit, many in the r/cereal community mourned the loss of the Cheerios varieties.

“Phew, my Frosted Cheerios are safe,” one wrote. “RIP Medley Crunch though.”

“Eh, I’ll survive,” another commented. “I do feel bad for that one person that loves the medley mix though.

Not everyone was too upset.

“Mini cereal is stupid..cereal is already bite size,” one commenter wrote. “Just creating more junk for junk food junkies lol.”

That comment was downvoted by one cereal fan.
