Walmart’s $16 tool is ideal for decluttering countertops & ‘doubling storage space’ – it’s half the cost of Target’s
IF you’re looking for a convenient tool to organize your belongings, this major retailer has you covered.
An extendable home organizer from Walmart is rivaling Target’s almost identical option for a fraction of the cost.

The Classic Cuisine Expandable Storage Shelf and Counter Top Organizer sold at Walmart has received rave reviews.
It is just $16.80 when bought online and is suitable for the kitchen cabinet, pantry shelves, bathroom, office, and even under the sink.
The multi-purpose product features two interlocking shelves and there’s no need for assembly and can be adjusted to fit your needs.
The organizer measures 14.5″ L x 5″ W x 5.2″ H when compact and 24.5″ L x 5″ W x 5.2″ H when extended.
Lightweight and practical, shoppers have loved it with the product getting an overall customer review rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars with many praising its ability to “double storage” space.
“I love the shelf I put in over my sink and had space to put all my cups and glasses,” one person wrote.
“It’s very sturdy and a space saver.”
“Great way to make a limited space more useable, by stacking,” another posted.
“I use these shelves to maximize how much my shelves can hold,” a third chimed in.
Another big bonus is that its much cheaper than the similar product offered at rival store Target.
Its Hastings Home Expandable Metal Wire Storage Shelf is available for $29.95 meaning Walmart shoppers can save themselves over $13.
But in reality they save even more with Target’s shelf being listed as in a sale and the regular cost of the product being $49.95.
And it has the same measurements as the Walmart version.
“This cabinet organizer adjusts the the perfect length for your space, maximizes storage by expanding space upward not outward, and boasts an easy-to-match chrome finish for versatile decorating,” Target states.
“[It’s] a convenient storage solution for expanding pantry shelves to hold canned goods and adding extra room for supplies in craft rooms, garages, and offices.”
Walmart and Target are not the only retailers battling for sales with handy decluttering tools at a budget price.
Dollar Tree is selling a popular item to help sort out your bedroom and it’s less than half the price of Lidl’s.
Its assorted Stacking Plastic Laundry Baskets are just $1.50 each and measure 17 by 11.5 by 17 inches.
“They are excellent for saving space, sorting clothes, and toting items to and from the laundry room,” the retailer states.
“I love these baskets for organizing,” one customer wrote.
Another benefit is that they are a fraction of the cost of Lidl’s $4.99 Livarno Home Laundry Baskets that are extremely similar.
Plus, Aldi is selling a home organizing essential for just $29.99 and it’s $46 cheaper than the Home Depot version.
