Meta Quest 3 Black Friday 2025: what to expect this November

META’s virtual reality headset is always a winner with shoppers, but Black Friday is the best time to score the pricey gadget for less.

When the November sale arrives, we will be rounding up the best Meta Quest 3 Black Friday deals to help you save serious cash on the next generation of gaming tech.

The best time to shop for the Meta Quest 3 is Black Friday

Being one of the hottest virtual reality headsets on the market, at one of the most affordable price points, it’s always one to watch.

That said, it’s by no means a cheap buy at just under £500.

So Black Friday provides the perfect opportunity to bag one for less, especially if you’re on the hunt for a Christmas gift.

Our Head of Tech and Science, Sean Keach, was lucky enough to get hands-on with the Meta Quest 3S – a budget version of the headset that’ll make the deals more exciting this year.

We’ll be regularly scouting online for the best savings on the Meta Quest 3 and updating this page with our top picks, so be sure to check back in.

To shop the wider sale, you can head to our best Black Friday deals roundup, where you’ll find discounts on everything from beauty and fashion to tech and appliances.

When is Black Friday 2025?

We can look forward to Black Friday on November 28 this year.

The sale follows the Thanksgiving celebrations in the US, where the event started.

Aside from sticking to the American date, Black Friday has become a huge retail event globally.

These days, it’s more of a month-long event that takes place as much online as it does on the shop floor.

Naturally, the best Black Friday deals tend to come on the day itself, with early November seeing prices steadily drop in the run-up.

Are Meta Quest 3 retailers taking part in Black Friday this year?

Yes, several Meta Quest 3 stockists will be launching Black Friday sales.

We’ve listed just a few retailers below that offer impressive Black Friday deals.

What to expect from the Meta Quest 3 Black Friday sale 2025

The Meta Quest 3 is an incredible next-generation VR headset with a faster processor, high-resolution display, added comfort, more intuitive use, and built-in speakers with cinematic 3D positional audio.

It’s also compatible with all your favourite Meta games – as well as with new titles.

Last year several UK retailers slashed prices or offered bundle deals.

The VR set featured in many Black Friday sales, and we’re sure it will be on a lot of wishlists ahead of Christmas.

What was in the Meta Quest sale last year?

In 2024, we found a selection of pretty decent deals on Meta Quest 3 gaming gadgets and accessories.

When is Cyber Monday 2025 and are Meta Quest 3 retailers taking part?

You will find deals and savings throughout the weekend of the Black Friday extravaganza.

The annual sale ends at the close of Cyber Monday, which is always the Monday following Black Friday.

This year, that means Cyber Monday falls on December 1.

While most offers run from Friday through to Monday, some retailers set their own dates and release exclusive digital offers around this time, so there’s plenty of opportunity for shoppers to pick up the popular VR headset for less.

There’s also the risk that the item you’re considering may sell out before, so you’re taking a chance waiting until the last minute.

How much does Meta Quest 3 shipping cost?

The Meta Quest 3 is often sold with free delivery in the UK, although this will depend on the retailer and the purchase made.

Check your preferred retailer’s website or app to see if free delivery is available.

Some retailers, like Amazon, will also offer free shipping to members of their subscription service.

Do Meta Quest 3 retailers offer any other discounts?

Yes, many major retailers offer discounts beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Meta Quest 3 stockists such as Amazon, Currys, and John Lewis hold regular sales events throughout the year.

It’s worth shopping around to find the best limited-time deals and bundle offers.

Meta may also offer deals and promotions directly through its website.

When does the Meta Quest 3 Black Friday sale start?

The sale officially kicks off on November 28, but many stockists offer good savings on pre-sale prices.

In the past, we’ve spotted early discounts from several retailers, but as ever, the main event is when the deals to write home about drop.

You’ll also find some pretty decent savings on accessories, such as head straps, cases, and more.

When does the Meta Quest 3 Black Friday sale end?

We’ve often seen that the sale continues into what we now refer to as Black Friday weekend and that finishes the following Monday, known as Cyber Monday.

That’s November 28 to December 1, 2025, so there’s plenty of time to score savings on the Meta Quest 3.

Some retailers launch price cuts earlier in the month, and there’s also a strong possibility the deals will continue past Cyber Monday.

Will the Meta Quest 3 be discounted during Black Friday this year?

Yes, you’ll be able to save on the Meta Quest 3 during Black Friday, with retailers such as AmazonArgos, and John Lewis stocking the VR gadget.

As always, it’s worth shopping around to compare prices and find the best deals on the product you’re looking for before buying, but don’t wait too long and risk the item that you want selling out.

Black Friday deals on Meta Quest 3 will run until the end of Cyber Monday but it is possible some retailers will continue their discounts into December to benefit from the Christmas shopping rush.

We’ll bring you all the latest deal updates here, so keep checking back for information.

Where to buy the Meta Quest 3

You should shop around and check out a good selection of retailers for Black Friday offers to ensure you’re getting the best deals.

They are all competing with each other, so if you do your research, you may well come across a low price on the very item you’ve been looking for.

While you should keep your options open while researching, don’t make the mistake of waiting too long in case the product sells out.

All of the following retailers sell the Meta Quest 3 so we recommend starting with these, though of course there will be other sellers out there:

Do you need a PC for Meta Quest 3?

Having a PC isn’t crucial if you want to use the Meta Quest 3 — it is designed as a standalone headset that can operate with nothing but its processing chip.

However, connecting the Meta Quest 3 to a PC opens you up to a wealth of further content.

How to cast Meta Quest 3 to the TV

The easiest way to cast the Quest 3 to the TV is from the headset itself:

  1. Turn your TV and headset on.
  2. From the main control panel, hit the “share” button.
  3. Click “Cast” on the far side of the menu.
  4. Select the device you want to cast to.

You can also cast to the TV from your phone:

  1. Open the Meta app and tap “cast”, which is in the corner of your screen.
  2. Allow your phone to search for devices.
  3. Tap the name of the device you want to cast to and click “start”.

Is Meta Quest 3 compatible with a PS4?

Sony has not made the PlayStation 4 compatible with the Meta Quest 3.

For those of you wanting to use a VR headset with the PlayStation, your best option is to buy Sony’s official PlayStation VR.

Are Meta Quest games affordable?

In comparison to the prices of modern console games, like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox, Meta games come out on top for savings.

With PS5 and Xbox games often coming close to over £60 (especially for new releases), Meta is fairly reasonably priced, ranging from as little as £4.99 to £29.99.

How much is Meta Quest 3?

The Meta Quest 3 typically costs just under £500 for the 512GB model.

There’s also a budget version of the Quest 3 thrown into the mix, which means we can expect some competitive deals across the board.

Is the Meta Quest 3 worth buying?

The Meta Quest 3 is one of the most popular VR headsets on the market, and there’s good reason for it.

If you want to explore VR and the great games that come with it, it’s one of the best currently available.

However, it’s an expensive purchase, so you’ll need to think about how eager you are to enter the world of VR.

What is the Meta Quest 3S?

Designed as an entry-level headset, the Meta Quest 3S sits at a more approachable price point and promises to deliver a lot of the same features.

There are a few features that make the Quest 3S more affordable, namely a narrower field of view and Fresnel lenses, which make the device more top-heavy.

Like the Quest 3, the Meta Quest 3S is a mixed reality headset and comes with the same processing power, full colour passthrough, and multi-tasking specs.

Mould covered the bathroom of my new home – I felt sick but banished it in minutes with a single buy, it’s the best

BANISHING mould from your home can feel like a never-ending chore.

From constant bleaching to pricey products that don’t work, there’s loads of stuff out there, but more often than not the mould returns.

Removing mold from bathroom grout with sealant.

Nicola applied Mould Magic over the grout in her bathroom[/caption]

She said it’s better than anything else she’s tried to banish mould for good[/caption]

That was cleaning whizz Nicola’s experience until she discovered a product that actually works and stops mould from coming back.

Taking to Instagram, Nicole explained how the Mould Magic gel worked wonders in her new home.

“If you haven’t seen this before you need to get some, it works on so many different surfaces but I used it mainly on grout in the bathroom,” Nicola explained.

In the viral clip she showed what the bathroom looked like when she first moved in, and sure enough the walls were covered in mould.

The formula is especially easy to apply because it comes in a tube with a nozzle designed to get into those hard to reach places.

Not only that, but according to Nicola the formula is also non-drip, so you don’t have to worry about it slipping and sliding away.

After a couple of hours the product can then be wiped away, leaving your bathroom mould free.

“The mould never comes back,” the cleaning whizz added.

Unsurprisingly, fellow cleaning fans were wowed by the before and after snaps of the bathroom.

One commented on the clip: “It’s brilliant for washing machines too.”

“Oo, thanks I’ll be getting this,” another said.

“Omg we recently got mould in out shower and it’s right in the grout so this will be great,” a third chimed in.

Meanwhile, others wanted to know if the product would work on painted walls and Nicola revealed she’d tried Mould Magic there too and was impressed with the results.

The product can be bought online for as little as £9.95 too, so it won’t break the bank.

Use household items

If it’s too late, and any condensation has had a chance to flourish and turn into mould, you can start removing it for nothing.

Natalie, from Which?, said: “A few drops of washing up liquid mixed with warm water can work on smaller areas of mould on hard surfaces like walls or floors.

“Use a sponge, cloth, or brush to work the soapy solution in small circular motions over the mould.

“If you’re trying to remove particularly stubborn mould, try a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and warm water and pour it into a spray bottle to target the affected area.”

If you’ve got a bit more in your budget, you can try buying mould or mildew remover from your nearest supermarket or retailer.

You can get it as cheap as £1.20 from B&M or £2.50 from Dunelm, at the time of writing.

Call in the professionals

You can usually treat smaller patches of mould yourself, but if the problem has gotten out of hand, you might need to call someone in.

Natalie said: “If you find new mould growing quickly in other areas of your home, or the affected area becomes too large to handle, it may be time to get professional help.”

Checkatrade says it costs £25-£35 per hour or £200-£400 per room to call someone in for mould removal.

Meanwhile if you want a specialist to come and take a look to inspect for any mould, that will cost you around £50-£300.

What is mould and how to get rid of it?

Mould is more likely to grow during the winter months.

Olivia Young, Product Development Scientist at Astonish revealed exactly why this is.

“Unfortunately, mould is a common problem many people face during winter. It thrives in conditions that are warm and damp, so your bathrooms are likely to be the most affected place.

“That said, during the colder months most rooms in your home could be vulnerable to mould growing.

“This occurs primarily from condensation that builds up on your windows when you’ve got your radiators on.

“If you think about it, when windows and doors are closed, there’s not much chance for the air to circulate and the moisture to make a swift exit.

“This build up is what can cause dreaded mould to make an appearance, especially in bathrooms, as it creates that warm and wet environment that is a breeding ground for mould.

“If left untreated, not only is it unsightly but it can also pose a serious risk to your health, so it’s really important you treat it.

“The key to tackle mould is to act fast.

“Try to come into as little contact with it as you can. So, grab your gloves, tie up your hair and get to work to remove any signs of mould as soon as you notice them.

“To keep mould at bay, there are some simple solutions you can introduce throughout home.

“The first is keep it ventilated. Yes, even in the cold winter months try to leave your bathroom window open for at least 10/15 minutes post shower or bath. This will get rid of any excess moisture quickly preventing mould gathering.

“If you’re having a repeat problem with mould in one particular area, it might be because the humidity levels are too high. You can get a dehumidifier that will help keep the levels low and reduce the risk of mould returning.

“The golden rule to remember when dealing with mould is the quicker you can treat it, the better. If you leave it, it will only get worse so never ignore it!

“To successfully get rid of mould every time, I recommend opting for the UK’s No 1 Mould & Mildew Remover, that effectively removes mould and mildew stains almost instantly, with no scrubbing necessary.”

ESPN star Mike Greenberg reveals private health battle and says ‘I couldn’t live like that’

MIKE GREENBERG has revealed his private health battle.

The ESPN star has admitted that he was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation – known as AFib.

He admitted that he could not continue with the condition

Greenberg, 57, learned that he had a common cardiac arrhythmia in 2015.

The condition affects the regularity of his heartbeat.

The TV host made the revelation during an emotional interview with The Post.

He said: “At first, it was manageable with meds, I was on beta blockers and used a ‘pill-in-the-pocket’ approach.

“It worked — until it didn’t.

“I was in my mid-40s, I was just sitting on my couch and suddenly felt my heart racing up in the 160s or 170s.

“Imagine sprinting on a treadmill, that was my heart rate while sitting.”

He had been rushed to the hospital after thinking that he was suffering a heart attack after a spike in his heart rate.

Greenberg also revealed that the condition left him terrified of having another episode.

The fear would leave him worried about going to bed.

He added: “The episodes became more frequent.

“The meds didn’t stop them anymore. I’d lay awake at night feeling my heart race, frustrated and scared.

“The moment that pushed me to act was in summer 2022.

“My wife [Stacey] and I went to Burgundy, France — my favorite wine region. But I was afraid to enjoy it.

“I was sipping tiny amounts, scared of setting off an episode.

“That trip was one of many other moments that made me realize, I couldn’t live like that.”

Greenberg kept his condition private while working seven days a week at ESPN.

However, in March 2023, he sought a second opinion on the diagnosis and was recommended a catheter ablation procedure.

The procedure is minimally invasive and can treat AFib.

He returned to work after just one week and has not suffered any symptoms since.

He said: “That second opinion changed my life.

“I met with Dr. Cheung, who said I was a good candidate. We scheduled the procedure around my ESPN schedule, right between NFL free agency and the NBA playoffs.

“I had the procedure on a Monday, slept in my own bed that night and was back to work the following Monday.

“Within three weeks, I was working out again. And since then — no episodes. It’s been transformational.

The device used in my procedure was manufactured by Johnson & Johnson MedTech, a global leader in cardiac arrhythmia treatment.

Without this procedure, I couldn’t have done it. The sleepless nights, the anxiety — I wouldn’t have made it.

“I didn’t have the ‘Sunday Countdown’ job yet in spring 2023, but I do now.

“It’s the highlight of my career, and I couldn’t have taken it on without having that procedure.”

Harry’s charity turns off Twitter comments over ‘targeted online harassment’ – after boss accused Duke of ‘bullying’

PRINCE Harry’s African charity Sentebale has dramatically switched off its Twitter comments amid claims of “online harassment”.

The social media withdrawal comes months after Harry sensationally quit the organisation and the charity’s boss accused him of “bullying”.

Statement from Sentebale regarding temporarily disabling comments due to online harassment.

Harry quit the charity earlier this year after siding with its board in a bitter row with the chief[/caption]

A statement posted online reads: “Unfortunately, we have had to temporarily disable comments on this platform due to the harmful effects of targeted online harassment.”

Dr Sophie Chandauka, the charity’s chief, pulled a similar move herself, shutting down her social media after she was trolled by the “Sussex Squad” in the wake of the spat.

Harry stormed away from the charity at the end of March, siding with the trustees who said Chandauka’s leadership was “untenable”.

In turn, she accused the royal of “harassment and bullying at scale”, and labelled the Sussex brand “toxic” – allegations Harry’s representatives have always denied.

It is understood the trustees strongly disagreed with the decision to appoint Chandauka as chair from the start, and wanted her to step down.

The flash-point appeared to be the move to transfer the charity’s fundraising operation to Africa, which caused several key figures to quit the organisation.

Dr Chandauka then explosively claimed there had been a “cover-up” at the charity.

She alleged there was “weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny, and misogynoir”.

In today’s statement, the charity reassured supporters that its focus remains on the “mission and the communities” it serves.

It vowed: “We will not engage with misinformation or personal attacks here.”

The statement concluded: “Thank you to those who continue to support and follow the work of Sentebale.”

Long-awaited Casey grooming gang review links illegal migration with exploitation of British girls

A DAMNING review into rape gangs will directly link illegal migration with the exploitation of British girls, The Sun can reveal.

The Home Office is expected to publish the long-awaited National Audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse next week.

A damning audit into rape gangs will directly link illegal migration with the exploitation of British girls[/caption]

A source familiar with the report said its author, Baroness Louise Casey, specifically links illegal migration with the violence perpetrated against vulnerable girls.

The Sun understands there are fears in the Home Office that knowledge of the link between undocumented arrivals and grooming gangs could trigger more civil unrest.

The Home Office today refused to deny the involvement of illegal migration in the Casey report.

A government spokesperson said: “Nothing is more important than protecting vulnerable children, and we are determined to crack down on vile grooming gangs once and for all.

“That’s why we ordered a rapid national audit to uncover the true scale of this horrific abuse.

“This report – alongside our response – will be published shortly.”

The Casey review was tasked with building a “national picture of what is known about current group-based child sexual exploitation” and to “identify local and national trends”.

It will also “provide an assessment of what is known about the demographics of grooming gangs and their victims, including ethnicity”.

It comes as a grooming gang have been found guilty of raping and abusing two teen girls in Rochdale in a five-year reign of terror.

The seven men “passed” the victims around for sex and preyed on them in squalid flats and car parks in the town.

They groomed the girls from the age of 13 and made them their “sex slaves” by plying them with gifts, including alcohol and drugs.

The victims both had “deeply troubled home lives”, which meant they were easy prey for the fiends.

During a five-year horror ordeal, the girls were expected to have sex “whenever and wherever” the defendants and other men wanted.

As well as flats and car parks, the predators abused the teens on rancid mattresses, in cars, alleyways and disused warehouses.

Mohammed Zahid, 64, Kasir Bashir, 50, Mushtaq Ahmed, 66, Roheez Khan, 39, Mohammed Shahzad, 43, Nisar Hussain, 43, and Naheem Akram, 48, were today convicted.

Three of the abusers, Zahid, Ahmed and Bashir were born in Pakistan and worked as stallholders on Rochdale’s indoor market.

Father-of-three Zahid – known as Boss Man – gave free underwear from his lingerie stall to both victims.

He was previously jailed for five years after he engaged in sexual activity in 2006 with a 15-year-old girl who he met when she visited his stall to buy tights for school.

Sony issuing refunds to PS5 owners over gaming blunder as players given ‘sincere apology’ and promised urgent fix

SONY has announced that it will be issuing refunds over a gaming blunder.

The gaming giant had to issue an apology after gamers experienced significant problems with one if its new releases.

Sony has reportedly issued refunds after the developer wrote an apology[/caption]

Gamers have cited bugs and a slow frame rate as just some of the issues with the game[/caption]

Players of Mindseye faced glitches galore when they tried to run the game which is available on PS5, PC and Xbox series X/S.

The third-person shooter game was released on June 10, but TheGamer reported that Sony has already started handing out refunds.

In the past, Sony has been reluctant to offer refunds unless a game is almost entirely unplayable.

Gamers have reported recurring crashes and a sub-30 frames-per-second running rate.

Developers of the game Build a Rocket Boy issued an apology after users complained about the issues they were facing.

They also promised a “hotfix” to address the immediate performance problems.

Build a Rocket Boy said in their statement: “A heartfelt thank you to all our day-one players. We know the launch of Mindseye hasn’t been without its challenges for some of you.

“Right now, our top priority is game performance. We understand that the requirements are high and have limited the experience for many of you, and for this, we sincerely apologise.

“Improving performance across all devices is our immediate focus. A patch that begins our commitment to address this is scheduled for the end of this week on PC, which will also roll out to consoles as soon as possible.”

Even before the game’s release it was already the subject of controversy, with Push Square giving it a 3 out of 10 review.

The game is described on Stream as “a narrative driven, single-player action-adventure thriller set in the near-future fictional desert city of Redrock.

“Featuring best-in class cinematics, high octane driving, and explosive combat from game director Leslie Benzies.”

Reviews so far have been mostly negative, with nearly 1500 reviews averaging out at 2.5 stars.

One recent 2/10 review reads: “Mindseye isn’t disappointing – disappointment implies expectations. This is a $60 crash course in how to wrap a hollow experience in cinematic lighting and misleading trailers.”

Another customer who had their purchase refunded wrote: “Absolutely horrible game.”

Even without the technical problems, gamers criticised it as a “boring” cash grab with “stupid” side missions.

They did, however, praise the game for its immersive cutscenes, although for many this wasn’t enough to redeem it.

Others were more positive, with one writing: “I recommend it once all the bugs are fixed.”

Another wrote: “I really believe this game could turn around. The potential is there.”

Promotional Twitch content was postponed after the developer became aware of some of the bugs – with popular streamer CohhCarnage having his stream cancelled just as he was about to begin promoting the game.

Others content creators that had been paid to promote the game clearly showed its many issues – with streamers trying to talk through the game while it crashed.

The family took a photo, featuring Patrick and their other two children, Patrick “Bronze”, 2, and Sterling Skye, 4.

The picture showed the whole family smiling together in front of a brown backdrop.

“What truly matters,” Brittany captioned the post with a heart.

Brittany recently revealed behind-the-scenes details about welcoming her daughter with Patrick.

She told the WHOOP podcast how she got competitive during labor.

“And now I was just talking to Patrick, and he said you were very competitive about the labor process,” podcast host Will Ahmed said.

“Like it was going to be the best birth ever.”

“Yes. Yes. And it was. Every birth, I got better. My push time decreased,” Brittany answered.

“Yes. Yeah. Every year I’m like, ‘Okay. We got to beat seven minutes. We got to beat five minutes. We got to do it.’ And we did.”

While Brittany said she was doing better and better which each delivery, there won’t be another one.

The Mahomes family is done having any more kids.

In the same interview, Brittany shared that three is likely going to be the final number of children she has.

“We’re done, we’re done for a while. Three,” she said.

“I don’t know, I mean, I feel like you can never say you’re done.
