Bridgerton star reveals terrifying moment phone thief threatened to STAB her in cafe attack – before she tackled him
A BRIDGERTON star has revealed a phone thief threatened to stab her in a cafe attack before she bravely tackled him.
Genevieve Chenneour was sitting in a Joe & The Juice in Kensington, South West London when the terrifying ordeal happened.

Zacariah Boulares snuck up behind the 27-year-old and swiped her phone on February 8.
Genevieve – who plays Clara Livingston in the hit Netflix show – revealed that the “full on scrap” lasted for about five minutes.
She pinned the 18-year-old thief to the floor but has now said he threatened to stab her.
“I was threatened with being stabbed, so it became a matter of life and death,” she told ITV.
“I remember kicking him back with my leg to create space in case he had a weapon on him.”
She described it as a “life-changing, crazy moment”.
The star said the ordeal has left her feeling scared to venture outside and she has even left her home in the capital to take a “break” from the lawless city.
Astonishing footage from police showed Genevieve grabbing Boulares’ shoulder as she realised her phone had been taken.
She then tackled the serial thief to the ground with the help of another customer.
Genevieve managed to take her phone back from Boulares before repeatedly hitting him with it in the posh cafe.
She previously claimed she suffered a concussion in the horror in February and said even her dog was “traumatised”.
The star added: “They didn’t expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.”
Algerian national Boulares previously pleaded guilty to stealing the phone.
The teen also admitted common assault against fellow Joe and the Juice customer Carlo Kurcishi, who had stepped in to help.
Boulares pleaded guilty to a separate charge of theft after he swiped a black leather hand bag from a diner at a pizza restaurant.
The court heard he has 12 previous convictions for a total of 28 offences – all relating to theft.
His rap sheet includes threatening to cut off Aled Jones’ arm while stealing his £17,000 Rolex.
The Songs of Praise presenter, 52, was out with his son Lucas when he was targeted near their home in Chiswick, South West London.
Boulares – then aged 16 – pulled out 20 inch machete and repeatedly threatened Aled in a bid to steal the luxury timepiece.
He told him: “Give me your f***king Rolex or I will cut your arm off.”
Aled handed over the £17,000 Rolex Daytona watch rather than fight with the armed robber.
He and his son bravely followed the 6ft teen but when he spotted them, he snarled: “Walk the other way or I will cut your head off.”
Boulares was given a two year training and detention order after pleading guilty to robbery at Ealing Youth Court.
But he was released from youth detention early after serving just 14 months of his 24-month sentence.
He will be sentenced for robbing Genevieve on June 17 at Isleworth Crown Court.

“They just need to learn to eat and they come home. We are hoping two weeks max. Strong little angels.”

“So I was looking at my feet, ankles and legs and I just started seeing them get bigger and bigger and bigger throughout the day. And then it got to a point where I can’t walk.”
After being sent home from the hospital, Mackenzie got a second opinion from another doctor and was admitted to the hospital, where she soon after gave birth.

School nurse off the job after ‘wearing ICE jacket during Superhero Day’ as parents blast ‘utterly disgusting’ behavior
A SCHOOL nurse was reassigned after allegedly wearing a jacket that read “ICE” on the back for “Superhero Day,” sparking outrage among parents and school officials.
The nurse worked at Northwest Elementary School in Amityville, Long Island, New York, and allegedly wore the jacket on school grounds on Wednesday.

“The Amityville Union Free School District is aware of an allegation involving a district staff member who affixed an acronym to their clothing that was perceived by some members of the school community as offensive or inappropriate in the educational setting,” read a statement from the school district.
After learning about the situation, the nurse was “immediately reassigned” to a non-school setting, and an investigation is underway, the statement read.
“Our top priority is to ensure that our schools remain safe, inclusive, and welcoming spaces for all students and families.”
The statement didn’t explicitly say what acronym was on the nurse’s clothing; however, the Amityville Teachers‘ Association president, Nakia Wolfe, confirmed to Newsday that the letters spelled out “ICE.”
Wolfe told the outlet that the employee was a nurse at the elementary school and the incident happened on the same day as a moving-up ceremony for the kindergartners.
The nurse’s name wasn’t given, but Wolfe did condemn their behavior, saying it has no place at the school.
“Why would you come into a setting of learning to make any type of political stance like that?” Wolfe said.
“It’s just completely inappropriate.”
Hilda Brown, a teacher at the elementary school, shared that the nurse wore the jacket while the school was hosting “Superhero Day,” where students come in dressed as their favorite hero.
Some parents who picked up their kids on the day of the alleged incident shared their reaction to the claims with News 12 Long Island.
“That’s utterly disgusting. This is the world we’re living in now?” said Marquise Gordon.
“We got kids that’s just trying to get their education,” Gordon continued.
“How dare you show up to a school in that type of, and set that type of precedent, knowing what’s going on in the world right now?”
Another parent, Jackie Sauls, said, “People are already fearful as it is. There’s no right in that.”
TENSIONS RISING
The incident comes as protests have sprung across the country condemning ICE in major cities over the past week.
In New York City, over 86 demonstrators were arrested by the NYPD at a rally in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.
In Long Island, there’s been an uptick in ICE activity across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Multiple people were taken into custody by ICE agents in Glen Cove, about 30 miles outside of NYC, on Wednesday morning, according to Detective Lt. John Nagle.
“ICE New York City is actively investigating immigration crimes throughout the five boroughs, Long Island, and the lower Hudson Valley,” an ICE spokesperson told News 12 Long Island.
Small anti-ICE protests have happened across Long Island since Sunday in several counties as a response.

Shocking moment passenger hurls herself out of moving Uber to avoid paying £1.40 fare
THIS is the shocking moment a passenger threw herself out of a moving taxi “to avoid paying the £1.40 fare”.
Baffling CCTV footage shows how the back door was wide open as the Uber travelled down the road.

The customer could be seen trying to ease herself out of the car and hit the ground already running in a bid to avoid falling.
But the driver was going too fast for her to land steadily on her feet.
She tumbled onto the tarmac, rolled over, and skidded to a stop moments later.
She then picked herself up and hobbled off as a passing biker stopped to ask if she was okay.
The bizarre scenes unfolded on 3 June in Itapetininga, west of São Paulo, Brazil.
The taxi driver told police that the ride had been requested with cash as the selected payment method.
On the way to the destination in the city centre, the passenger gave a different name from the one the ride had been booked under.
She added that she did not have the cash, prompting the driver to tell her they would have to go to the police to sort the matter out.
En route to the police station, the passenger opened the door and jumped out of the moving car.
The taxi driver – according to her testimony – stopped, got out, and tried to talk to the passenger.
The woman allegedly told her she would pay the fare – £1.38 (10.40 BRL) – via a transfer later on and asked for her account details.
A local media source told What’s The Jam: “At the end of the day, she paid the driver.”
