Inside disgusting house of horrors where Pheobe Bishop ‘lived with her killers’… as even ‘the air tastes dirty’

HARROWING footage has revealed the disgusting conditions teen Pheobe Bishop was living in with her two alleged killer housemates.

Towering piles of rubbish, chains, dog toys and dirty bed sheets can all be seen in the sickening home where Pheobe stayed with James Wood and Tanika Bromley.

Cops believe Pheobe Bishop was murdered[/caption]

Wood, 34, and Bromley, 33, were both formally charged with the 17-year-old’s murder earlier this month.

And just a day later, human remains were discovered on June 6 by police after a major three week search for a body.

As investigations continue into Pheobe’s tragic death, the shocking state of her home in Gin Gin has been uncovered.

Australian news outlet 7News managed to get access to the property and revealed the squalor Pheobe was enduring in the weeks before her passing.

Before entering, the landlord can be heard in the video announcing: “I can’t prepare you enough for this.”

In almost every room the floor was impossible to see due to the mounds of rubbish.

Footage shows mountains of half empty soda bottles, unopened packages and full black bin liners in each room.

The furniture was all out of place across the house with the sofas falling apart and the beds stained yellow.

Even dog poo appeared to be on the floors of the old Queenslander-style home.

Due to the horror conditions and poor cleaning, a major issue with the property was the smell.

The landlord added: “The air tastes dirty… I don’t know how people can be breathing this.”

He also revealed the home was officially leased out by Bromley six months ago but she had been given a notice to leave after a recent inspection.

Pheobe, from Gin Gin north of Brisbane, hadn’t been seen or heard from since Thursday, May 15.

Police first arrested Wood as he was the last person to see the teen as he reportedly took her to the airport.

Cops believe during the drive to the airport, Wood, his girlfriend Bromley, and Pheobe all argued over stopping on the trip.

Pheobe wanted to do her makeup in the car as she was on her way to Perth to visit her “high-school sweetheart” boyfriend, Wood said.

The teen got her way in the end as Wood said he pulled over less than a kilometre away from their destination.

He said: “We wanted to give her five minutes, give her her own space to do what she needed to do.”

Wood and Bromley then said they walked off and were away from the car for around five minutes.

When they returned, Wood said Pheobe and her bag were gone.

This was the last time Pheobe was seen as an intense search operation was launched.

On May 26, cops made a harrowing revelation.

They believed evidence of a potential murder had been moved to cover up what had happened.

On this same day, a new number plate was discovered to have been suspiciously painted and taped over Bromley’s Hyundai car which drove to the airport.

On June 5, police officially charged the couple with murder and two counts of interfering with a corpse.

Cops allege Wood, Bromley and Pheobe were all in the car when it arrived at Airport Drive near Bundaberg Airport.

They believe that the trio never left the car.

Detective Inspector Craig Mansfield said: “Our evidence will outline the fact that three people arrived near to the airport, and three people never exited that vehicle.”

The pair continue to say they had nothing to do with Pheobe’s disappearance or death.

Wood and Bromley will appear in court on August 11.

The wide receiver was asked about a viral boat clip last month

There was also a suspicious bag containing a pink substance in his hand.

Diggs spoke about the clip for the first time at Patriots camp on Tuesday.

He refused to give any details on what the pink substance was.

And the receiver neither confirmed or denied claims that they were drugs.

“I want to be as candid with you as possible,” Diggs said.

“But I kind of have a thing where I don’t talk about my personal life with people I don’t know personally.

“I had a conversation with (coach Mike) Vrabel obviously and I’ll echo everything he said – hoping everybody is making good decisions.

“And I had a conversation with people in the building as well.

“So everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal.”

Diggs was asked repeatedly about the clip on the boat and the pink substance.

“Obviously it’s a conversation that’s happening internal,” he replied.

“I can’t have too much of a conversation about it.

“I’ve been in this league 10 years.

“You can format your question many different ways, I’m obviously going to answer it the same way.”

Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million deal with the New England Patriots.

Patriots coach Vrabel sent him a clear message after seeing the video.

Vrabel said, “It’s something we’re aware of and obviously we want to make great decisions on and off the field.

“The message will be the same for all our players, that we’re trying to make great decisions.

“Any conversations that I’ve had with Stefon will remain between him and I and the club.”

First pic of Austria school shooter Artur A. who killed 10 pupils in rampage & left mum chilling final video message

THE lone gunman who killed ten people in Austria’s mass school shootout has been pictured for the first time.

Identified as Artur A., the 21-year-old was a former student at the school who rocked the country with its worst mass shooting in modern history.

The attacker lived in a suburb of Graz, and had left the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school two years ago without successfully graduating sixth grade.

He had no previous convictions and was only known to the police as a victim of pick-pocketing.

Former classmates have said he was subjected to severe bullying during his school years, according to local reports.

There is speculation he targeted the school in an act of furious revenge, though officials are yet to specify a motive.

When cops searched his house, they found a non-functional “pipe bomb” and a suicide note.

Cops also found what appeared to be abandoned plans for a bomb attack during the search of the shooter’s apartment, according to local media.

In the “farewell letter”, Artur A. reportedly said goodbye to his parents and framed himself as a victim of bullying, reports Krone.

He also reportedly recorded a video and sent it to his mother where he spoke of his imminent atrocity and said he was acting “of his own free will”.

Police investigating the mass shooting say the gunman had no prior criminal record.

Artur A. stormed through two classrooms, firing with a Glock pistol and shotgun – both of which he owned legally.

Ten people were killed in the horrific attack.

A further 12 were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and an adult woman became the tenth victim to pass away on Tuesday evening.

Lea Bajrami, 15, was named as the first victim of the tragic mass shooting.

She was one of the six girls to be killed alongside three boys and a woman.

Another 15-year-old girl named Hana Akmadžićis has been identified as the second victim of the tragedy.

Her uncle Ilhad paid heartfelt tributes to his niece and said: “She was my child, not just my niece. A flower of paradise. I can’t believe she’s gone.”

All the 11 surviving victims are aged between 15 and 26 years – and are currently being treated in hospitals. They are understood to be out of danger.

Eight of them are from Austria, two from Romania, and one from Iran, according to the police.

Austria was stunned by the senseless violence, and three days of national mourning was declared.

Horrifying video from the scene yesterday showed pupils hiding in a classroom as gunshots rang out nearby.

Other clips showed students running for their lives as heavily armed cops made their way inside the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school.

A dad told local media that one of his sons lay down on the floor and pretended to be dead to escape gunfire.

The youngest victim of the fatal mass shooting was only 14 years old, while other students were between 15 and 17. A 59-year-old teacher was also killed.

Immediately after the killing spree, the attacker went into a toilet and turned one of the guns on himself.

On Tuesday evening, government officials attended a memorial service in Graz Cathedral, and thousands gathered for a candlelight vigil in the city’s main square.

Austria’s Chancellor Christian Stocker said: “Today is a dark day in the history of our country.”

There is no record of a mass shooting in Austria with a death toll this high in the post-war period.

A nationwide minute of silence was observed Wednesday morning, and flags on official buildings were flying at half-mast.

Crisis centres were set up to support Graz locals, with specially-trained psychologists on hand to support students and parents associated with the school.

Austria’s Red Cross said it had deployed 65 ambulances to the scene and 158 emergency staff.

It was looking after 300 students in the Helmut List Hall, a converted factory, and 200 parents and relatives in the ASKÖ Hall, a sports complex.

Plans for major lottery revamp that would change how players buy tickets & check numbers

A MAJOR lottery revamp plan proposes a change to how players buy their tickets and check their numbers.

The change is being suggested to fit in with the evolving gambling landscape in one major US state.

The state of Oklahoma is looking to revolutionise its lottery game, joining 11 other states in creating a digital platform.

This “iLottery” platform, pending lawmaker approval, would support those in the state suffering with a gambling addiction.

According to Wiley Harwell, the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Association of Problem Gambling and Gaming, one in four Oklahomans are at risk of developing one.

More than 6% of those in Oklahoma already have a gambling disorder.

The Oklahoma Lottery Commission wants to upgrade its digital lottery experience by upgrading the loyalty program and making it easier to use the app in stores.

As well as this, the iLottery platform would include a wellness program to help those struggling with gambling problems.

Harwell said: “We just want guidelines.

“Those are huge numbers. And that’s one of the highest prevalence rates in the united states, is what we have here in Oklahoma.

“Most people that do other forms of gambling are also doing the lottery.

“If you put it online and make it that much more accessible, then the tendency to continue to bet is there.

“We need constant pop up messages that if you feel like you have a problem, this is the place to get help.”

“We want people to reach out for help to recognize that this is potentially addictive and to, you know, play safely.”

ONLINE GAMBLING

One of the main things that feeds into gambling addictions is the immediate rewards and instant accessibility, if you are at a casino, for example.

Harwell is proposing that if they put these supports in place online for the lottery, it could delay that instant gratification.

Responsible gambling

Remember to gamble responsibly
A responsible gambler is someone who:

  • Establishes time and monetary limits before playing
  • Only gambles with money they can afford to lose
  • Never chase their losses
  • Doesn’t gamble if they’re upset, angry, or depressed
  • National Council on Problem Gambling – https://www.ncpgambling.org/
  • Gamble Aware – www.begambleaware.org

For help with a gambling problem, call the National Gambling Helpline on 1-800-522-4700 or go to ncpgambling.org/chat

The Oklahoma Lottery Commission seems to be setting the stage for the iLottery platform, but only if granted legislative authority.

If it is granted, Oklahoma would join the 11 other states that use an iLottery platform to sell tickets and scratchers directly through the app.

However, it is not clear if The Oklahoma Lottery Commission wants that feature.

At the moment, it is believed that the commission is only looking to improve ways to check tickets and scratchers, instead of outright buying them on the app.

There are already resources that gambling addicts can access in the state of Oklahoma.

For example, citizens can call the Gambling Help Hotline at 1-800-GMABLER.

They also have free access to the Evive App, which supports gambling addiction.

‘This’ll wind people up’ – DeChambeau and Rose’s response to how club golfers would cope at Oakmont US Open course

US OPEN stars are preparing to take on Oakmont Country Club – a course that’s not for the faint of heart.

Reigning world No1 Scottie Scheffler recently branded the venue the “hardest course in the world”.

Pros discussed what they thought an 18-handicap golfer would score on the course[/caption]

A host of elite stars believe the tricky 18 in the heart of Pennsylvania would eat club golfers for breakfast.

Prior to this week’s tournament, several Top 10 stars were asked what an 18-handicap club golfer would shoot around Oakmont.

Speaking to the PGA Tour in a viral clip, reigning champ Bryson DeChambeau said: “Ooh, probably 100.”

He added quickly with a grin: “On the front nine.”

Two-time major winner Justin Thomas agreed, questioning if the 18-handicapper would even finish.

Thomas added: “It’s got to be 110 or 120.”

English star Laurie Canter agreed and was adamant a rookie would not make it back to the clubhouse.

Canter said: “I’m not trying to wind people up, right, but it will.

BEST ONLINE CASINOS – TOP SITES IN THE UK

“I’m certain they wouldn’t finish. I’m not trying to be facetious and wind people up.

“But if they had to hit every golf shot, and they’re going out with 12 balls, I don’t know an 18 handicapper that finishes.”

Former World No. 1 Justin Rose added: “18 handicapper? Man.

“No ball spotter? Better bring a few dozen balls.

“Probably 140 – it has to be. And that’s just playing conservative, bunting it in front of them.

“50 yards, 50 yards, 50 yards, 50 yards. It’s got to be plenty.”

In the nine previous US Open tournaments at Oakmont, only 23 players finished under par.

But he admits he’ll have to be almost perfect on the greens if he’s to secure a third major.

DeChambeu added: “I think everybody knows this is probably the toughest golf course in the world right now.

“You have to hit the fairways, you have to hit greens, and you have to two-putt, worst-case scenario.

“When you’ve got those putts inside 10 feet, you’ve got to make them. It’s a great test of golf.”

It’s not surprising, considering the cuteness of the little toy, which has been shaped to look like an ice cream, complete with a cone body and pink sprinkles on the top.

“Sweeten your collection with this Sanrio ice cream plush – too cute to handle,” Five Below say of the soft toy on their website.

And while it’s sold out in stores, you can still buy the Hello Kitty toy online for home delivery – if you can wait between five to seven working days.

There’s also a whole load of other Sanrio Squishmallows, all for $5.95.

Designs include Cinnamoroll, My Melody and Pompompurin.

There are also summer editions of the cute toys, with Keroppi included in the ‘squad’ this time around.

And if it’s Hello Kitty bits you’re after for a kids’ party, then Five Below is definitely the place to go.

The store took to Facebook to share a look at their Hello Kitty party items, including paper cups, napkins and plates in the shape of the famous cat.

“Any party starts here, especially if they love Hello Kitty,” they wrote alongside the snap.

“Make Five Below your party destination for way less!”

The amount of comments on the post also suggested that the range is going to be popular this year, as one person wrote: “Soooo cute!! Love it!”

“Definitely for my upcoming birthday in 12 days,” another smiled.

“F**k a party I need this for everyday life,” a third commented.

“Should we throw ourselves a HK party just because?” someone else wrote, tagging a friend.

“Just what little girls love!” another said.

“So beautiful,” someone else gushed.

“I love those for your birthday in July,” another said, tagging a pal.

“Beautiful work,” someone else praised.

Incredible moment Bridgerton star FIGHTS thief who took her phone before tackling him to cafe floor & grabbing it back

THIS is the incredible moment a Bridgerton star fought off a thief who swiped her mobile in a cafe.

Zacariah Boulares swiped the device from Genevieve Chenneour as she sat in Joe & The Juice in Kensington, South West London.

The brave actress, who played Clara Livingston in the third season of the Netflix period drama, bravely attempted to stop the teen escaping.

Astonishing footage from police shows Genevieve grabbing Boulares’ shoulder as she realises her phone has been taken.

She then tackles the serial thief to the ground with the help of another customer.

Genevieve managed to take her phone back from Boulares before repeatedly hitting him with it in the posh cafe.

She previously claimed she suffered a concussion in the horror in February and said even her dog was “traumatised”.

The star added: “They didn’t expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.”

Algerian national Boulares previously pleaded guilty to stealing the phone.

The teen also admitted common assault against fellow Joe and the Juice customer Carlo Kurcishi, who had stepped in to help.

Boulares pleaded guilty to a separate charge of theft after he swiped a black leather hand bag from a diner at a pizza restaurant.

The court heard he has 12 previous convictions for a total of 28 offences – all relating to theft.

His rap sheet includes threatening to cut off Aled Jones’ arm while stealing his £17,000 Rolex.

The Songs of Praise presenter, 52, was out with his son Lucas when he was targeted near their home in Chiswick, South West London.

Boulares – then aged 16 – pulled out 20 inch machete and repeatedly threatened Aled in a bid to steal the luxury timepiece.

He told him: “Give me your f***king Rolex or I will cut your arm off.”

Aled handed over the £17,000 Rolex Daytona watch rather than fight with the armed robber.

He and his son bravely followed the 6ft teen but when he spotted them, he snarled: “Walk the other way or I will cut your head off.”

Boulares was given a two year training and detention order after pleading guilty to robbery at Ealing Youth Court.

But he was released from youth detention early after serving just 14 months of his 24-month sentence.

He will be sentenced for robbing Genevieve on June 17 at Isleworth Crown Court.

As well as Bridgerton, Genevieve appeared in historical film 1242: Gateway To The West.

She is also a former professional athlete who represented Team GB at the Baku 2015 European Games in Artistic swimming events.

Walmart has a ‘best-selling’ inflatable pool for just $59.99 – reviewers say it ‘blew our expectations out of the water’

IT’S always a hit for hot weather.

But it can be hard to find an inflatable swimming pool that lasts more than a few weeks – especially with kids splashing around in it constantly.

So if you’re looking for one, head to your local Walmart, where you can nab one for $59.99.

The family pool is big enough for two adults and three to five kids, and is made from material that’s 50% thicker than most in the market.

It also takes just three to four minutes to inflate with an electric pump, and has two water valves that double the drainage speed.

The “sturdy and stable” pool also has countless positive reviews on the Walmart website, with one happy customer saying it “blew our expectations out of the water”.

“We were searching for a pool for a while and our local Walmart was sold out as were all the other stores around my area,” they wrote.

“We bought this on Walmart.com after finding it and let me tell you, this pool was way better than we thought it was going to be – it absolutely blew our expectations out of the water.”

They added that their two boys “absolutely love it”, and were “jumping in and out constantly”.

The reviewer also pointed out some of the features that make it “super convenient” – including “the holes you use to blow it up” and the fact it “drains so fast”.

“Thank you for the amazing pool! Definitely looking forward to making memories for years to come!” they concluded.

And they certainly weren’t the only happy customer.

“This pool is excellent,” another added.

“I had purchased a similar pool last summer and it lasted only 3 days. It was placed on a sand and grass area.

“Evidently, the grass poked several holes into the bottom which could not be found.

“This pool was placed on almost the same area and was wonderful. No water leakage and no holes.

“I highly recommend this pool and look forward to using it again next summer.”

“Setting up this inflatable swimming pool in the backyard has been one of the best decisions for our family this summer,” a third commented.

“The pool is spacious enough for me to enjoy with my kids, and it’s deep enough for them to splash around safely while still being shallow enough for peace of mind.

“The quality of the material feels sturdy, which is crucial with active little ones and even our dog jumping in and out.

“It was easy to inflate, and the drainage plugs make cleaning a breeze.

“Despite a minor issue with one of the sections not staying inflated, the included patch kit should take care of that.

“Overall, this pool has become the perfect outdoor play center for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great value.”

“Cool summer fun in an adventure sized family pool!” someone else wrote.

“Can’t wait to blow this up for the grandbabies this year.

“It’s huge, and the material is thick.”

Historic end to world’s biggest trade war as Trump reaches deal with China and touts ‘excellent’ outcome for US

DONALD Trump has declared an end to the trade war with China as he announced the two countries are honing in on a final deal.

He said his relationship with China’s President Xi Jinping is “excellent” after months of tit for tat tariff drama.

In a Truth Social post on Wednesday, Trump said, “Our deal with China is done, subject to final approval with President Xi and me.”

The announcement came after two days of negotiations in London, England, between US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng.

Trump said, “Full magnet, and any necessary rare earths, will be supplied, up front, by China.

“Likewise, we will provide to China what was agreed to, including Chinese students using our colleges and universities (which has always been good with me!),” he said in the statement.

“We are getting a total of 55% tariffs, China is getting 10%. Relationship is excellent!”

Heated talks started to cool down after Trump announced that he had a “very good” phone call with Xi Jinping last week.

The president said he and Melania were invited to the rival nation, and they extended a reciprocal invitation to Jinping and his wife.

“We both accepted, so I will be going there with the first lady at a certain point,” Trump told reporters.

Trump forced the world into an overnight scramble when he announced sweeping 10% tariffs on nearly every country in the world on April 2.

He doubled down on the pressure when he revealed his plans to impose massive reciprocal tariffs, which he said would match the taxes that American manufacturers have been paying.

China, the world’s largest manufacturer, was one of the hardest hit as the country relies on American consumers to buy electronics, toys, and many other Chinese goods.

Xi Jinping was quick to announce revenge tariffs following Trump’s so-called Liberation Day, leading America to impose a bruising 145% fee.

But since last month, US tariffs on China have been lowered to 30%, and China has reduced tariffs on US imports from 125% to 10%.

Trump hasn’t visited China since 2017, when he met with Xi Jinping during his first presidency.

He’s boasted about having a strong relationship with the world superpower in his first term, and has voiced his confidence in restoring relations during his final four years.

President Joe Biden never once visited the rival nation during his four years in office.

TENSIONS COOL

One month ago, China and the US agreed to a 90-day tariff pause for negotiations, but officials spent the first weeks of the break driving a wedge over heated issues.

Leaders hotly debated visas for Chinese students at American universities, rare earth minerals carmakers use, and semiconductors that power artificial intelligence.

Trump has insisted that his motivation for starting the war is to put money back into America’s pocket and boost US manufacturing.

He said he wants to “open up China” to import more US goods.

“If we don’t open up China, maybe we won’t do anything,” he previously warned while speaking at the White House.

“But we want to open up China.”

Why has Trump hit China, Canada, and Mexico with tariffs?

DONALD Trump has imposed 10% tariffs on Chinese imports and Beijing has retaliated. Trump also hit Canada and Mexico with 25% tariffs, but walked back many of them on March 6

China:

  • Trump believes China has not done enough to stop the production of chemicals used to make the drug fentanyl.
  • China has slammed Trump for the claim and described fentanyl as America’s problem.
  • The country also said the tariffs are a “serious violation” of the World Trade Organization rules.
  • China is filing a lawsuit with the WTO against the US for “wrongful practice.”
  • China serves as a major supplier of auto parts to the US.
  • Phones, computers, and other key electronic devices were also in the top imports from China last year, according to Commerce Department data.
  • In 2023, the US imported around $427 billion worth of products from China, according to the US Census Bureau.
  • Data reveals that 78% of all smartphones imported from the US came from China.
  • Trump’s tariff threat has sparked fears of price rises for fashion items and toys.
  • Beijing has responded by outlining its own tariffs on American goods, sparking fears of an all-out trade war between the two superpowers.

Canada:

  • Trump ignited a trade war with Canada and Mexico during his first days in office as part of a campaign promise to stop the flow of fentanyl and illegal immigrants into the United States.
  • He said both countries had not done enough to halt the drug flow and the mass influx of migrants from reaching US soil.
  • A total of 59 pounds of fentanyl was seized at the northern border by US agents between 2022 and 2024, according to the Canadian government.
  • Meanwhile, almost 62,000 pounds of the drug was seized at the southern border.
  • The 25% tariffs Trump proposed on Canadian goods were destined to come into force on March 4.
  • Canada responded with a 25% tariff on $155 billion of American imports.
  • On March 6, Trump warned the 25% tariff on steel and aluminium would come into force on March 12.
  • Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded with a 25% surcharge on electricity exported to Michigan, Minnesota, and New York.
  • Trump then threatened to double the 25% tariff to 50%.
  • The Ontario premier warned that he “will not hesitate to increase” the levies or completely shut off power to the three US northeastern states.
  • Both sides then agreed to talk and toned down their threat.
  • Ford then paused the electricity surcharge.

Mexico:

  • Mexico has managed to twice postpone Trump’s tariffs on Mexican goods.
  • On February 1, Trump signed an executive order to impose tariffs on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China.
  • But, on February 3, Trump agreed to pause the levies against Canada and Mexico after the countries took steps to appease Trump’s concerns on border security and drug trafficking.
  • Trump then threatened that the 25% tariffs would come into force on March 4.
  • Two days later, Trump announced a delay on most goods covered under the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
  • Trump credited Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s progress on border security and drug smuggling as a reason for the pause on the levies.
  • The Mexican Navy has seized thousands of kilograms of drugs from criminal gangs.
  • Sheinbaum promised to deploy 10,000 extra troops to the Mexico-US border.
  • Still, Trump has maintained that on April 2, the US will begin imposing reciprocal tariffs on all its trading partners, including Mexico.
