Who is World Darts Championship presenter Emma Paton and is the host married?
EMMA PATON is the Queen of the Alexandra Palace as the main face of Sky Sports’ Darts coverage.
However, Emma Paton has been put in the mix after a major reshuffle at Sky Sports, meaning viewers will be seeing a lot more of the tele presenter.

Who is Sky Sports host Emma Paton?
Emma Paton is a regular host for Sky Sports and Sky Sports News, and is best known for presenting darts championships — including the World Champs in December and January.
She has also covered tennis’ US Open and WWE — and is the host for Sky Sports News’ transfer deadline day coverage.
However, ahead of the 2025/26 season, Sky Sports News announced that it has launched a new weekday magazine programme.
The Premier League Show, which will air on Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
Presenting duties will be shared and rotated between Paton and Julian Warren.
And each episode will also feature a reporter and pundit to discuss the day’s biggest Premier League stories.
As a result, Paton will become an even more familiar face on Sky Sports, a TV station she originally joined back in 2012 as a journalist — before making the jump to presenting in 2019.
Speaking about becoming a sports journalist, Paton told SportsGazette: “I’m someone who just loves sport. Having an athletic background — national level 400m metre runner — that’s where it all came from.

“That’s a reason I got into journalism. If I’m not the athlete, why not be able to speak to the athletes.
“It was really when I was doing my undergraduate degree at Loughborough, I was doing more reading, more writing, doing more actual watching stuff.
“And to be honest with you and at that time when I finished, there weren’t that many courses around that I would go onto after.
“There weren’t many postgraduate courses, there weren’t many that did NCTJ [National Council for the Training of Journalists] qualifications, I was lucky to find the one that I did.”
In an exclusive interview with SunSport earlier this year, Paton revealed some of the difficulties of working in front of a raucous darts crowd.
She said: “It is really loud. There are some occasions when it’s just a wall of noise.
“There are times when I actually can’t hear what Wayne Mardle, Mark Webster or John Part are saying. I can’t even hear the director in my ear.
“I just have to hope we are on the same page for running order and not too much has changed.
“Working with Wayne has helped me, he is someone who has always backs me. He’s one of those people who wants people around him to succeed.
“He’s like the Gary Neville of Sky Sports Darts. He’s so engaging and his analysis is second to none and his stories are ridiculous!”
Is Emma Paton on social media?
Paton is semi-active on Instagram under the handle @missemmapaton and has a following of 206,000.
Paton also posts about her job as a TV presenter on X, formerly Twitter, by the same handle where she has a follower count of around 78,000.

The 30-year-old host has become a social media sensation with her work on Sky but says she does not post often because she thinks she’s boring.
Following her appearances on the darts, besotted fans have been rushing online to post about her.
One wrote: “Emma Paton marry me.”
While a second gushed: “Emma Paton wow.”
A third swooned: “Emma Paton is unreal.”
And a fourth commented: “WOW WOW WOW!!!!! Emma Paton looking absolutely stunning and gorgeous in a sexy white outfit.”
Another added: “Emma Paton is so gorgeous gosh.”
Is Emma Paton married?
Emma generally keeps her personal life under wraps.
It is however known that she is not married — but is reportedly in a relationship with a boyfriend named Hannibal.
According to an Instagram post from 2018, Paton and her beau co-own a flat and live together.
What did Emma Paton do before presenting?
Paton has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and a Master’s in Sports Journalism from St Mary’s University Twickenham.
Surrey girl Paton is also a former track star having competed at national level in the 400 metres.
She has also previously worked as part of the media team for Team GB during the 2012 London Olympics.

Howard Stern goes live for ‘special announcement’ with Metallica after news his SiriusXM show will be ‘canceled’
HOWARD Stern went live on his SiriusXM channel Wednesday morning to make a “special announcement,” following news of his show’s cancellation.
Stern, who is on his regular long summer break that lasts from June to September, posted about the intermission of his break on his show’s Instagram page just before he went live.

The post on the page said “SURPRISE! Howard Stern is LIVE, with a call to fans to tune into his Sirius channel, Howard 100.
In the caption, the show said the announcement would be with Lars Ulrich for Metallica.
After much chit-chat with the metal musician, Stern prompted Lars to drop the announcement.
Lars then dove into it: “We are so psyched. We are so honored. We’re so f****** grateful to be able to say the following statement: Metallica is getting its own serious Channel.
“Channel 42 right at the end of the Rock and Roll dial there, right, 42 will be Maximum Metallica, it will be called, and it comes at the end of the month.”
