Donald Trump threatens to sex test ALL female competitors at Olympics 2028 after Imane Khelif controversy

DONALD TRUMP has threatened that all female Olympians at the Los Angeles 2028 Games may undergo a one-time sex test before they can compete.

The last Olympic Games in Paris were overshadowed by the controversy surrounding Algerian welterweight boxer Imane Khelif and Taiwanese featherweight fighter Lin Yu-ting.

The duo both won gold medals in their respective weight classes amid a flurry of knockdowns.

But during the Games it emerged that they had been disqualified from the 2023 Women’s World Championships in New Delhi by the former world governing body, the International Boxing Association (IBA), for allegedly failing gender eligibility tests.

In a statement, the IBA claimed the boxers “did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognised test, whereby the specifics remain confidential”.

They added: “This test conclusively indicated that both athletes did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors.”

The pair were cleared to box in the French capital by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which stripped the IBA of its powers and status in June 2023 following concerns over its governance.

The IOC defended their position by declaring that “as with previous Olympic boxing competitions, the gender and age of the athletes are based on their passport”.

On Tuesday, the US President was asked a convoluted question in connection to this thorny issue at a press conference to promote the next Olympics.

Trump, 79, will undoubtedly aim to take a starring role during the event – just like he did during the Fifa Club World Cup.

And he vowed there would be “very strong form of testing” before the Olympics begin in three years’ time, though he did not specify the exact details.

A female reporter said: “On transgender athletes in the Olympics, back to the safety, especially of female combat boxers.

“Will the Department of Justice consider pressing charges against any man that tries to masquerade as a woman coming into this country to beat up American athletes?

“And secondly, would your administration consider genetic testing so that these people can actually prove that they are actually women competing?”

Trump replied: “Well, I think there is going to be a very strong form of testing.

“As far as charges, I’d have to ask the Attorney General about that. I don’t know.

“But there will be a very, very strong form of testing. And if the test doesn’t come out appropriately, they won’t be in the Olympics.”

Separately, Trump announced the creation of a White House task force that he will lead to oversee elements of the Olympics, which will take place in LA for the third time in history.

The last summer Olympics held in the United States took place in Atlanta in 1996 when legendary boxer Muhammad Ali lit the Olympic cauldron.

World Athletics recently announced that all female athletes would have to take a one-time gene test before they can compete at next month’s World Championships in Tokyo.

The introduction of two non-invasive methods, a cheek swab or blood test, would determine eligibility to take part in the women’s category at professional events.

New regulations, which come into effect on September 1, stipulate a “once-in-a-lifetime test for the SRY gene” – a reliable proxy for determining biological sex.

Stars such as Team GB Olympic heroines Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell must have the tests before the Worlds begin in the Japanese capital on September 13.

First up, Matt O’Brien, a comedian from Canada, wowed the judges with his hilarious set.

Securing four yes votes, Matt made it through to the next round.

Then, another comic from Canada took to the stage named Julia Hladkowicz.

Because both Matt and Julia were comedians and also because of how they both hail from Canada, Howie Mandel asked if the pair had ever crossed paths.

“I know Matt a bit because he’s my husband,” Julia joked.

Howie looked stunned, as did the rest of the judges and audience sitting in front of the stage,

Matt then ran out to give his wife a kiss.

“Now you’re competing against each other,” Howie said.

“Matt is really good, but what if you do better?” he added.

Julia had confidence in her own talent and said, “Well, good!”

Then, within her set, Julia slated her husband with veiled digs about men.

“Men snoring is disgusting,” she said during her performance.

“Men snoring is the patriarchy. You’re already asleep. You already won. Why do you have to add a soundtrack to it?”

She went on, “Even while you’re asleep, part of your subconscious is like, ‘only I may sleep while the women suffer.'”

America's Got Talent judges

THOUSANDS of hopefuls have graced the America's Got Talent stage to showcase their abilities.

Here is some more information about the A-list judges for season 20:

Simon Cowell – On October 22, 2015, it was revealed Simon was replacing Howard Stern on the AGT judges panel. He became a judge during the program’s 11th season and has since remained a series regular.

Mel B – In March 2013, Mel B was announced as Sharon Osbourne’s replacement on AGT. She remained on the show for five seasons before leaving in 2018. She made her grand return this year for season 20.

Sofia Vergara – On February 27, 2020, NBC revealed Sofia was replacing Gabrielle Union for AGT season 15.

Howie Mandel – Out of all the panelists, Howie Mandel is the longest-tenured judge on America’s Got Talent. Howie joined the hit reality series during the show’s 5th season, replacing David Hasselhoff.

Reacting to the husband and wife duo, fans went wild on social media.

“What?! Husband? No way,” said one person on X.

“Matt and Julia were funny they were both hilarious,” said another.

“Matt’s wife julia hladkowicz is so funny,” penned a third.

A fourth then declared, “Julia is great. I’d say better than Matt.”

“A Canadian husband-and-wife comedy duo is just what we needed,” said a fifth.

“A husband and wife competing against each other not only they’re comics but there’s also from Canada,” wrote a sixth.

And a seventh added, “I wonder if history is going to be made this season, if husband-and-wife comedians are going to make the Top 44!”

Julia ended up get four yes votes, just like her other half.

The husband and wife dup met at Toronto’s Comedy Bar in 2010.

Speaking to NBC Insider, Matt revealed, “I would see her around and of course thought she was an absolute babe, but there’s an unwritten rule that comedians shouldn’t date each other.

“After we hung out a few times after shows, I realized we had so much in common, we had such a fun time together, and I figured there was a reason that rule was not written down anywhere, and we decided to give it a go.”
