Caitlin Clark suffers injury setback in major blow to Indiana Fever and WNBA

CAITLIN Clark suffered a setback in her bid to get back on court after an injury.

The Indiana Fever star has been dealing with a quad issue.

Clark hasn’t played since the New York Liberty on May 24[/caption]

Clark, 23, was ruled out for a minimum of two weeks when she suffered the problem.

That timeline put the sophomore star on course for a return this week.

However, Clark will not be ready to return for Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Dream.

Indiana is not back in action after that until Saturday against the New York Liberty.

And Fever head coach Stephanie White revealed on Monday that Clark is “ready to start ramping back up.”

White said, “We’re going to be smart, and we’re going to be cautious.

“We’re going to play the long game and work her back in very intentionally.

“It’s one thing to do some shooting drills.

“It’s another thing to get out there on the floor, get back into movement patterns, rhythm, timing.”

Indiana has also been without the injured Sophie Cunningham.

But the 28-year-old new recruit from Phoenix is also closing in on a return.

White added, “We’re picking and choosing the things they can be in practice so we can see their progression.

“Both of them being out for long periods of time, you’ve got to work your way back into being game-ready.”

Clark suffered her injury against the Liberty on May 24.

It ruled her out of a grudge rematch with Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

The Fever and Sky squared off again this weekend after their explosive season opener.

Reese and Clark needed to be separated by teammates after an on-court incident.

The Fever are 4-4 this season and 2-2 since Clark’s injury.

They beat the Sky 79-52 Saturday to move back to 500 for the year.

A return for Clark this Saturday would be exactly three weeks after she suffered the injury against the same New York Liberty opposition.

YouTuber Finny Da Legend named as Las Vegas shooting victim killed on livestream after 2 shot dead near Bellagio casino

A YOUTUBER has been named as a victim in a Las Vegas shooting that saw two people killed.

Finny Da Legend was shot dead near the famous Bellagio hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip on Sunday night.

Another victim, believed to be Finny’s partner, was also killed in the shooting, as reported by the Fox affiliate KVVU-TV.

Finny, who had more than 3,000 subscribers on YouTube, was live streaming when a man, another content creator, came up to him.

At least seven shots were fired in footage shared online.

Finny’s partner could be heard screaming after the shots, yelling, “Are you f**king kidding me?” before the camera was thrown to the ground.

The man, who opened fire, was wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap.

Finny’s partner confronted him before shots were fired.

Noise of the shots sparked panic on the Strip.

Tourists were seen fleeing the scene, while others rushed to shelter.

Tributes have been paid to the content creator.

Devastated pal Derek Ware described Finny as a “good father” and a “friendly guy.”

“If something was wrong, he would just always check up on me,” he told KVVU-TV.

“He’s donated to people that needed help online.”

Ware revealed Finny’s partner was known as Bubbly and paid tribute to her “infectious” personality.

“She would have fun everywhere she went,” he said.

Cops revealed that the shooter and one of the victims had an argument on social media before the horror unfolded.

Manuel Ruiz, 41, turned himself into police hours after shots were fired on the Las Vegas Strip.

Ruiz is believed to be another YouTuber.

And, Ware claimed that the feud between Finny and Ruiz had spanned for around two years.

Finny and Ruiz clashed after Bubbly was allegedly pepper sprayed by him.

Ware said that two families have been “ruined” following the shooting.

Ruiz faces two counts of open murder.

The Bellagio is a luxury five-star resort on the Strip and is known for the famous Fountains of Bellagio attraction.

The shooting comes almost eight years after 60 people were killed when Stephen Paddock opened fire at a music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.

He fired more than 1,000 rounds from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

More than 800 people were injured.

Sky launches brand new £6 a month TV service TODAY in tempting bid to make Q box owners switch

SKY is launching a brand new service from today, and it will set entertainment fans back by just £6.

TV lovers can now get their hands on a brand new TV set for just 20p a day, as the broadcasting giant launches Sky Glass Air.

The new TV can be purchased via a 48 month interest free loan, as the broadcaster aims to tempt Sky Q users to make the switch.

A quarter of adults have chosen to take up a new hobby after being inspired by a TV show or film. A poll of 4158 Sky customers found 18-24 year olds are twice as likely as the average adult to do this, with 50 per cent of them having been inspired to try something new. Similarly, 44 per cent of the younger age group have gone as far as changing their style and fashion choices after being influenced by a character on the screen, as have 18 per cent of all those polled. Other things people have done as a result of watching a TV show or film were cook a new dish (44 per cent) and feel enticed to learn another language or explore a different culture (28 per cent). But the thing viewers have been most inspired to do is research a historical or scientific topic after seeing something about it. As a result of enjoying a series or film, some have purchased related merchandise (32 per cent) and even joined fan club (22 per cent).

The cheapest package available with the new TV is Sky Essential TV, which comes with 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, and Netflix and Discovery+, all for just £15.

Combined, for £21 per month, viewers are effectively paying less than 70p per day for the TV and service.

Unlike Sky Q, which is currently being phased out, Sky Glass Air relies on internet connection to beam TV channels to your home, instead of a satellite dish.

This means that installation for the new TV service will be simple, as you won’t have to get an engineer to come round and start drilling through your walls.

Sky Glass was launched back in 2019, but users were unimpressed with the thick built in Soundbar.

The broadcaster hopes that the thinner soundbar on the Sky Glass Air will tempt more Sky Q users to make the switch.

The new TV, which goes on sale today, June 10, comes in three colours  – Sea Green, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White.

There are three different sizes, 43 inches (from £6 a month), 55-inches (from £10 a month), and 65 inches (from £13 a month).

“With Sky Glass Air, we’re bringing the Sky experience to more people through a beautifully designed TV with stunning picture quality from just £6 a month,” said Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW.

“It’s all about giving people better for less: more choice, great tech, and the content they love, without compromising on quality.

“From the ultimate performance of Glass Gen 2 to the incredible value of Air, there’s now a Sky Glass to suit everyone, whether you’re new to Sky or already with us.”

Customers can also choose to pay for the TV set outright if they wish, with the 43 inch model costing £309, and the 55 inch set costing £509.

The 65 inch TV is priced at £649.

What are Sky's early termination fees?

SKY TV customers will incur an early termination fee if they choose to cancel their contract before the end of the agreed minimum term.

The amount you’re charged depends on:

  • How long is left of your minimum term from the date your subscriptions end, calculated in days
  • The days you have already been billed for in advance
  • The products you subscribe to, the price you pay for them and when your subscriptions end

For Sky TV, early termination charges range from £14.00 to £42.89 per month, depending on the specific package.

For instance, if you cancel a standard Sky TV package priced at £33.82 per month with 12 months remaining on a 24-month contract, you would be required to pay the remaining 12 months’ fees in one lump sum.

This would result in a total early termination fee of £405.84.

Entertainment fans can also upgrade to to Sky Ultimate TV for an extra £7 per month, which gives viewers access to Sky Max, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, Sky Showcase and more.

Sky revealed that 90% of new users opt for Sky Glass or Sky Stream, but it is struggling to win over Sky Q fans.

Paolo Pescatore, an expert for PP Foresight, told The Sun: “The majority of its existing subscribers are still on the tried and trusted Sky Q platform which relies on a satellite dish.

“Converting this base is taking the company much longer than it originally expected.”

One thing that Sky Q customers are not convinced by is the way recordings work, as Sky Glass Air saves everything to the cloud, meaning you can’t rely on recordings during rare TV outages.

However the expert added that the new affordable model should “strongly resonate with customers”.

Final 72 hours to claim up to $7k from $1m settlement – not acting now means you risk losing out

ELIGIBLE Americans have the chance to claim a huge $7,000 payment for free – but they need to act fast if they want to cash in.

MarineMax agreed to a massive $1million settlement to resolve claims it failed to put proper cybersecurity in place.

Americans could get $7,000 for free[/caption]

During a data breach last year, hackers reportedly got their hands on details like Social Security numbers, driving licences and even bank info.

Now the firm has agreed to settle the case for $1,018,825.50, but it hasn’t admitted to any wrongdoing.

Anyone who received a data breach notice from the company or its finance arm Newcoast could be due a payout.

MarineMax is a boat dealer which operates across the US.

Victims can claim for identity theft losses or out-of-pocket costs racked up after the 2024 cyber attack.

Class members can get up to $5,000 back for identity theft losses.

Or they can claim up to $2,000 for things like professional fees, credit checks or monitoring.

For those who didn’t take MarineMax’s original two-year credit monitoring offer, you can now bag up to three years instead.

But for customers who already elected to receive two years of credit monitoring can still get one extra year of credit cover.

Once all claims are paid, any leftover cash will be split between claimants.

These extra payments will be capped at $500 each.

Those who wanted to object had until May 14 to do so.

But to get the cash, you’ll need to act fast.

The deadline to claim is June 13, 2025.

That gives eligible Americans just three days to act and claim the free payment.

It comes as Americans have the chance to cash in from another huge $16million settlement payment.

The money is being paid out by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care to resolve claims it failed to prevent a data breach in 2023.

The company is a health insurance firm that offers plans to individuals and employers in New England.
