Now, the waterpark has confirmed they will be reopening next month on Friday, July 5.
It will also have new additions, including a adventure play structure inside the Rainforest Diner.
The diner will have an updated menu, too.
Visitors can also enjoy a selection of gelato ice creams at the attraction.
Jamie Groves, managing director at Denbighshire Leisure Ltd, said: “Everyone at DLL is extremely excited to see our flagship attraction reopening. The damage to the roof was extensive, but we were never going to let that get us down.
“SC2 is the jewel in Rhyl’s crown and our priority was to re-open the attraction as soon as we possibly could.
“We know how important SC2 is to Rhyl, and we were determined to come back bigger and better than before.
“As one of the Denbighshire’s biggest employers, we are proud to have recently taken on another 30 people at SC2, and will be reopening with an exciting team, who can’t wait to give everyone the very best customer experiences.
“This year, we want to give visitors and residents a summer of fun and happy memories at SC2, and we can’t wait to see you all in July, with exclusive discounts for locals as a thank you for their support while we were closed!”
People have praised the update, with one saying: “Fantastic news!”
The waterpark first welcomed visitors back in April 2019 and features slides such as the Boomerang, Anaconda and Speedster.
Costing £15million to build, for little ones, there is also the Piranha Play area.

ENGLAND will be represented by a double dose of Luke this week as Littler and Humphries pair up at the World Cup of Darts 2025!
The men’s England football team failed to bring it home during the Euro 2024, but Luke Humphries and Michael Smith made the nation proud in last year’s World Cup of Darts.
PDCMichael Smith (L) and Luke Humphries (R) fired England to an iconic World Cup of Darts win[/caption]
PAHumphries and Littler will represent England this year[/caption]
A combination of composure and superb throwing saw Cool Hand and Bully Boy beat their Austrian opponents 10-6 in an epic final.
And it was a result that wrote England’s name in the history books as they now hold the record for the most amount of wins in the iconic competition with five.
Sadly for Smith, his world ranking positioning means he will miss out on the chance to retain back-to-back titles.
However, he has a more than capable replacement of 2024 Premier League winner and teen millionaire, Luke Littler.
Welsh stars Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price will pose a huge threat to England’s title, and Gary Anderson and Peter Wright should also fancy themselves.
But as for the Netherlands, they have suffered a massive blow to their chances with Michael van Gerwen pulling out of all upcoming tournaments due to his split with wife Daphne.
When is the World Cup of Darts 2025?
The World Cup of Darts 2025 will get underway on Thursday, June 12.
It will run over four days, concluding on Sunday, June 15.
Eissporthalle am Ratsweg in Frankfurt, Germany is the chosen venue for this iconic tournament.
Group stage matches begin at 6pm BST and then the latter stage fixtures are split in afternoon sessions (11am/12pm) and evening sessions (6pm).
The quarter-finals, semi-final and final will ALL be held on Sunday, June 15.
What TV channel is the World Cup of Darts 2025 on and can it be live streamed?
The World Cup of Darts 2025 will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports.
Subscription members can stream the entire four-day event on NOW TV.
Alternatively, SunSport will be running a live blog providing leg-by-leg coverage of the World Cup of Darts 2025.
What is the World Cup of Darts 2025 format?
There will be 40 different nations taking part at this year’s World Cup of Darts.
The top four seeded nations go straight into the second round, while the remaining 36 nations are split into 12 groups of three.
Each group winner will progress through to the second round, and then the tournament will be knockout from then on.
And each group stage game sees teams compete in a best-of-seven legs match, before the second round, quarter-finals and semi-finals are all best of 15 legs.
The World Cup final will then be best of 19 legs.
All matches are played in the doubles format, with teammates taking turns at the oche.

USAIN BOLT has revealed the three stars he would have loved to have raced against – including a world record holder.

There’s few sprinters that could come close to Bolt in his prime, with the Jamaican winning an astonishing eight Olympic gold medals over the years.
Bolt still holds the world record for the 100m sprint, set at 9.58 seconds in 2009, but would have loved to push himself further against other greats from the past and present.
Speaking to Colin Jackson on the PUMA Go Wild Podcast, Bolt listed legends Don Quarrie and Michael Johnson alongside current world record holder Wayde van Niekerk as his dream race opponents.
He said: “It would definitely be Michael Johnson and Don Quarrie.
“And I’m very sad that I didn’t get to compete against van Niekerk, we wanted to do a 200m and I was not fit enough.
“That’s one thing, I was like, ‘You know what? I wish I was fit enough to compete against him.’
“He’s the world record holder and I was like, ‘You know what? To run a 200m with him, who would be the best?’
“It would have been great to compete with him.”

A LOVE Island pocket rocket has got fans in a fashion frenzy after shifting her old wardrobe on Vinted.
The bombshell has put some of her pre-worn clothes on the selling site – with some items going for as cheap as chips.

VintedPink sports leggings are up for grabs for a tenner[/caption]
She told followers on social media: “Shop my Vinted,” along with an array of pictures of dresses, trousers, tops, sportswear, heels, trainers, shoes, occasionwear and ski gear.
The former Towie star’s for sale collection includes pink MyProtein size 6 leggings for £10 and a size 8 Distressed Denim Mini Dress from H:ours for £55.
Amongst other penny-pinching steals, there’s a size 8 Metallic Drape Bandeau Mini Dress for £190 from Retrofête and a size 8 Pretty Little Thing Distressed Faux Leather Biker Racer Jacket for £12.
There’s an XS Six Stories White Trouser Suit going for £60 and a Lavish Alice Rose Pink Dress, which has never been worn and has its original tags, size 6 for £50.
The star is giving half the profit from threads sold towards a charity close to her heart, Brain Tumour Research.
Kady wrote on the charity website: “Nan was the rock of our family… by the time they confirmed it was a brain tumour, there was nothing anyone could do…”
She continued: “She was the best nan ever. My dad wasn’t around when I was growing up so it was like I had two mums.
“Nan lived close by and used to pick me up from school and make cakes for me and my brother Keenan and sister Kirsty. I remember her feeding us until we could hardly move! She was the perfect cook.
“Growing up, I was really close to her and would probably tell Nan more about what was going on in my life than Mum. She was always on my side.”
She admitted: “Apart from a bit of a family history of migraines, which I suffer from too, everyone is pretty fit and healthy in my family. To be honest, I never thought serious illness could happen to us.”
Kady’s official account splits 50% of the profit donated to The Brain Tumour Research Charity – and is run by her management team.
It reads: “No refunds. Always posted within time frame. Happy shopping.”
This comes after Kady has confirmed she is back together with her millionaire ex boyfriend.
The brunette beauty is back together with her on/off boyfriend millionaire Henry Simmons.
Kady– who originally appeared in the second series of Love Island – made waves in the recent All Stars by having an almighty falling out with fellow contestant Mitch Taylor.
