Jacksonville Jaguars officially hand Travis Hunter his position for 2025 NFL season in depth chart leak

THE Jacksonville Jaguars have given Travis Hunter his official position.

Hunter, 22, was selected second overall by the Jaguars in the Draft after winning the Heisman Trophy with the Colorado Buffaloes.

He is capable of playing as both a cornerback in defense or as a wide receiver in offense.

Hunter made history by becoming the first player in college history to pick up the Chuck Bednarik Award for best defensive player and Fred Biletnikoff Award for most outstanding receiver last season.

The Jaguars face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday in their first preseason game of the year.

And ahead of the contest, the team released their unofficial depth chart.

Hunter has been listed as a starting wide receiver.

He gets the role alongside veterans Brian Thomas Jr and Dyami Brown.

But his defensive side has not been forgotten about by head coach Liam Coen.

Hunter is also listed in the depth chart as a reserve cornerback.

The backup position behind Tyson Campbell will go to either Hunter or Jarrian Jones.

Juggling his talents has presented a headache for Coen, who said: “It’s weird, it’s probably harder logistically for us as coaches to navigate it and making sure we’re making use of all his time.

“I think it doesn’t bother him as much. He’s pretty unfazed by some of this stuff.”

In another interview, Coen added: “You want to balance his time.

“You want to be giving him a few days on offense, then a few days on defense.

“Eventually, we want to have him flip-flopping in the same practice, and that will become routine.”

At Colorado, Hunter recorded 96 catches, 1,258 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.

The husband and wife duo have been co-hosting the daytime talk show together since 2023.

This week, however, Kelly has been absent, with a rotation of guests stepping in.

On Monday, Mark introduced Nobody Wants This star Jackie Tohn as a co-host.

When introducing the guest co-host, Mark recalled the first time he and Kelly met Jackie.

“When Kelly and I got done meeting you and walked off, we said, ‘Wow, she would be a great fill-in’.”

Jackie then gushed, “Really? That makes me want to cry. Thank you.”

Kelly has opened up about wanting to retire in the past.

WHEN IS KELLY COMING BACK TO LIVE?

She previously told Entertainment Weekly that she is “always thinking about retiring”.

But during a July 2025 episode of her podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Oprah Winfrey told her that “it’s not time for you to step away”.

But fear not, although Kelly is absent from Live! currently, and has been since August 1, which was her last appearance, her return date has been revealed.

According to People, Kelly will return to Live with Kelly and Mark on Monday, August 11.

MARK’S RECENT REPLACEMENT

This comes after Jerry O’Connell stepped in for Mark at the end of July.

The 51-year-old actor and TV host, who is known for his role as Quinn Mallory in the television series Sliders and for starring in hit movie Stand By Me, filled in for Mark and co-hosted with Kelly just a week ago.

While filling in for Kelly’s husband, things took a slightly steamy turn when he spoke about his love of Speedos.

Jerry was on air when he revealed that the show’s producer Michael Gelman asked him if he had any Speedo photos to share.

“It was actually a little weird this morning, because Gelman came in and got really close to me and said, ‘Um, do you like wearing Speedos?’,” Jerry recalled.

He added, “And I’m like, ‘Sorry, morning, Gelman. Sorry, what?’.

“And Gelman got in closer and right in my ear with his hot breath went, ‘Speedos!’

“And I said, ‘Actually, yes, I’ve been known to wear a Speedo or two in my day.

“I’m a swimmer, I like to wear them’.”

Kelly then quizzed Jerry and was keen to know if he had any “photographic evidence” of his penchant for Speedos.

Jerry explained how he did have a snap of him donning Speedos, with him keen to share it with the world.

A photo of Jerry then appeared on screen of him donning the very small Speedos.

JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT[/caption]

AN US airport has unveiled a one-of-a-kind family friendly TSA line that gets you through security fast – even with children.

It presents a great streamlined option for travelling families who typically travel with strollers, backpacks and more for their kids.

John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Los Angeles, has added the special lane to make travel easier for families.

Launched on July 21, the line is only one of its kind in Southern California.

The airport has introduced a dedicated screening line as part of the TSA’s “Families on the Fly” campaign.

The campaign began its rollout at select airports this summer in the middle of the busy travel season.

It’s in an effort to minimize stress for parents while still maintaining high security standards from the TSA.

New signs indicate lanes which act as a fast track for those families.

Jason Pantages, TSA federal security director for John Wayne Airport, said: “When families arrive at John Wayne Airport, they will find a specially designated lane for them at the centrally located Checkpoint B

“With Southern California being one of the top tourist destinations in the U.S. for vacationing families, I am excited that we can now expedite their screening process and enhance their overall airport experience.”

John Wayne Airport is a popular travel hub for families on vacation with it being close to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

Benefits

In addition to dedicated family lanes, “Families on the Fly” will also provide discounted TSA PreCheck fees for families coming soon.

There will also be dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes for service members and their families too.

And on top of the new lane, the airport has also debuted a brand new lactation pod in Terminal C.

It allows for quick access to mothers getting off their flights and a similar pod can be found in Terminal B.

Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley said: “You can go in there, it’s private, it’s comfortable, air-conditioned, there’s ventilation, you’ve got all out outlets, you can bring your stroller in.”

Other locations

Other “Families on the Fly” lanes can also be found at Orlando International and Charlotte-Douglas International in North Carolina.

There are also plans to soon expand to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, say the Department of Homeland Security.

Other airports introducing family lines include:

  • Tampa International Airport in Florida
  • Jacksonville International Airport in Florida
  • Charleston International Airport in South Carolina
  • Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport
  • Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico

Elsewhere, one American airport has pioneered new technology and revolutionised travel.

Charleston International Airport has created a new website to bless travellers with the beauty of convenience and ease.

Travelers can now check TSA wait times and parking lot spaces without even stepping foot in the airport.

Also, TSA has raised “significant” concerns about a proposed bill to allow passengers to avoid using A.I., face recognition technology at border crossings.

Politicians have said that people should be able to opt for a face-to-face check with a border officer, instead of using the facial scanner.

Senators have also pushed to limit how much data would be stored by airports using the tech.

The news comes after the TSA reversed the rule which forced holidaymakers to remove their shoes while at security checks.

Bosses at the Food and Drug Administration issued the recall for a type of Favorite Day frosted cookie on July 22.

More than 800 cases of the cookies which are decorated with pink icing and sprinkles are being recalled.

In total, over 12,000 packages are being recalled as each box contains 15 units.

If wood fragments or shards are found in the product, then they can pose a choking hazard.

The recalled product’s lot number is 25195.

But, the best by date of the products are varied.

FDA chiefs have classified the recall as Class II – which is the second category of recall.

This means the contaminated item could cause consumers to experience adverse health impacts.

The order is not as serious as a Class I recall.

No injuries have been reported by shoppers who have eaten the cookies.

The cookies were distributed from three centers – Connecticut, Maryland and Ohio.

And, they were sold in stores in states including Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Batches of the cookies could be picked up at Target stores for $4.49.

A number of products have been recalled over fears that they may have been contaminated with wood.

In May, more than 250,000 pounds of canned beef stew were recalled.

Nestlé USA bosses recalled some of its Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s ready meals because of wood contamination fears.

The frozen meals were produced between August 2024 and March of this year.

Nestlé USA chiefs revealed the meals were distributed from September 2024.

The company believed the wood contamination problem was an “isolated” issue as it worked to rectify it.

Hundreds of cases of a salsa product were recalled in May due to possible wood contamination.

How to handle product recall

FOOD Safety experts insist that shoppers shouldn't panic if they're affected by a recall, as many are harmless.

However, consumers should take each warning seriously and follow the necessary steps to protect themselves.

Oftentimes, food manufacturers issue recalls as a precautionary measure, so there likely isn’t a foodborne illness hiding in your pantry.

However, even if the recall is merely a precaution, shoppers should always stay safe and not consume the affected items.

Experts advise people to keep a product closed if it hasn’t been opened, and never feed it to a pet or donate it to food banks.

Anyone who has handled or opened an affected item should wash their hands thoroughly with warm water and soap for 20 seconds.

Read the recall closely for specific instructions on how to get rid of the food item.

Typically, the brand will ask consumers to return the recalled product to the store where they purchased it for a full refund.

Sometimes shoppers will also be asked to throw it away so that no one else can eat it.
