‘Killer’ dad Travis Decker is ‘hiding near tourist spot’ as pic he posted sparks theory after he ‘murdered 3 daughters’

THE dad accused of killing his three daughters is believed to be hiding near a popular tourist destination, cops said.

Travis Decker is on the run in Washington state as cops search the woods near the Canadian border and theories swirl about the fugitive’s whereabouts based on his social media posts.

Investigators launched the manhunt after the bodies of Decker’s daughters, Olivia, 5, Evelyn, 8, and Paityn Decker, 9, were tragically found at a campground on Monday.

The girls’ mom reported them missing on Friday after Decker didn’t return them as scheduled after a custody visit.

The siblings were likely suffocated to death, cops said. They were found about 75 to 100 yards away from Decker’s truck, which he was living out of at the time of the killings.

Decker was nowhere to be found at the gruesome crime scene at Rock Island Campground in Leavenworth, Washington, about two hours east of Seattle.

Prosecutors charged Decker with kidnapping and killing his daughters, sparking a massive search for the suspect, who is a veteran with extensive military skills.

It comes as…

  • The girls’ bodies were found on Monday as cops said they likely died of asphyxiation
  • Travis Decker’s truck was found 75 to 100 yards away with two bloody adult-sized handprints on the tailgate
  • The girls’ mom, Whitney Decker, said her ex-husband was unusually quiet when he picked them up for the visit
  •  Eerie video of Decker showed his recent appearance
  • Cops fear Decker could survive in the woods for MONTHS due to extensive military training
  • His ex-wife said Decker was homeless and living out of his truck at the time
  • Whitney shared the final message Decker gave her before the alleged killings
  • Officials shot down claims Decker was seen in Idaho
  • GoFundMe for Whitney has raised over $1 million

Investigators are now searching for Decker on the Pacific Crest Trail, which is a popular tourist hiking spot in the state

The trail spans 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada and passes through Chelan County, the center of the search area.

On Friday morning, officials closed multiple paths off the Pacific Crest Trail in the ongoing search for Decker, according to the Pacific Crest Trail Association.

“Trails are closed until further notice due to ongoing search operations for a suspect in Chelan County,” the PCTA said.

The US Forest Service also issued an emergency closure of the Icicle River area in the Okanogan-Wenatchee Forest, shutting down multiple trails and parks.

On Thursday, cops urged residents of Okanogan, Chelan, Kittitas, King, and Snohomish counties to lock their doors and to leave their outside lights on as Decker is on the loose.

Investigators zeroed in on the area after executing search warrants on properties and electronic devices, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Chelan County Sheriff's Office's statement

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office released the following statement on June 5.

Our teams have written and executed several search warrants around the area and on electronic devices that belonged to Travis Decker. We have gathered new information which in turn has given us more leads to follow up on.

Additionally, we are asking citizens who own cabins or reside in our remote areas of Chelan, Kittitas King, Snohomish, and Okanagan Counties to please be aware that Mr. Decker is still missing. As law enforcement conducts their searches, we are asking for those owners to lock all of their doors, to include any sheds out outbuildings, and leave their window blinds open and we recommend leaving outside lights on.

If you see, or believe you have seen, Mr. Decker please call 911 immediately and do not attempt or contact or approach him. Anyone with information is urged to call the CCSO tip line at 509-667-6845 or submit your information here: https://www.co.chelan.wa.us/sheriff/forms/submit-a-tip.

For the media, please understand that we are being overwhelmed with media requests for update and requests for interviews. All updates when come in the form of a media release from our office and we will not be providing individual updates to media outlets.

Members of the public are urged to call the police if they see Decker and warned not to approach him as he could be dangerous and it’s unclear if he’s armed.

Decker has outdoor survival training and has previously survived in the wilderness alone for two months at a time, officials said, warning that the search might take weeks.

FACEBOOK POSTS

As officials focus on forests in Washington counties, the public’s attention has also turned to a park in Montana due to some of Decker’s old posts on his Facebook account.

On April 20, Decker posted a scenic picture to his account, which has stayed inactive since the alleged killings.

The picture features Bull River Campground in western Montana, which is located near the Idaho-Montana border.

Social media users have baselessly suggested that Decker could be heading to the national park because of the picture, which he made the cover photo of his profile.

There’s no evidence to suggest Decker is in Montana.

The campground is about 300 miles from Wenatchee, Washington, where the girls lived with their mom.

The Indiana Pacers took a 1-0 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2025 NBA Finals.

Oklahoma City led the entire way, but the Pacers slowly chipped away at the lead in the four quarter.

Eventually, the Thunder held a 110-109 lead with just seconds left in the game.

At that point, Haliburton pulled up and scored a two-pointer with just 0.3 seconds left on the clock.

That gave the Pacers a 111-110 lead that would eventually give them a win.

Haliburton’s tough shot left the Thunder fans silenced and sent Pacers fans into a frenzy.

One of those fans was Caitlin Clark, who went wild on social media after the Pacers win.

“YOU CANT MAKE IT UP,” she posted on X with laughing emojis.

Other fans joined in with Clark to celebrate the Pacers’ win on social media.

“Are the Pacers & the Fever about to both win chips?!?” one fan said.

“I’d say it’s totally made up but we all just saw it,” another fan said.

“CC you better be in the house for games 3 and 4 we need you more than the Fever do rn,” a third fan said.

“Phenomenal win!!” a fourth fan said.

“Can’t stop, won’t stop- he’s the dream killer of the opposition,” a fifth fan said.

Clark has time to watch the Pacers in the playoffs as she recovers from a strained quad.

He’s set for an indefinite stint on the sidelines after aggravating the shoulder above his throwing arm[/caption]

Richardson made steady progress over the last few months but has since suffered a setback with his right shoulder.

The former Florida Gators QB has reinjured the joint on his throwing arm.

The full extent of his injury is unclear ahead of the Colts’ return to training camp on June 22.

But Head Coach Shane Steichen doesn’t expect to be able to call on the 23-year-old anytime soon.

When asked about a timeline for Richardson’s return, he said: “Not going to put a timetable for training camp on it.

“But when he does come back, we’ll ease him into throwing and then we’ll go from there.

“He was throwing it good. Meetings were good.

“He was making really good progress.”

NFL WEEK 1 SCHEDULE

Richardson’s loss is the gain of former New York Jets ace Daniel Jacobs, who inked a one-year deal with the Colts in March.

Steichen said: “Daniel will get a lot of reps and then we’ll see how it plays out.”

Richardson joined the Colts as the fourth overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft.

He was immediately thrown into the deep end as the Colts made him their starting QB.

Richardson, however, has missed several games through injury.

He’s missed 17 matches since his drafting, with 12 of those absences being down to his long-standing shoulder injury.

Gynaecologist who raped dozens of patients & secretly filmed examinations for almost 20 years is jailed in Norway

A DOCTOR who raped dozens of patients and secretly filmed examinations for almost two decades has been jailed in Norway.

A court on Friday sentenced Arne Bye, 55, to 21 years in prison in a case that has shocked the Scandinavian country.

Former GP Bye was found guilty of committing 70 counts of rape and sexual assault during gynecological examinations of his patients between 2004 and 2022.

He was also condemned for 80 instances of abuse of his position as a doctor.

Close to all of the offences occurred during medical examinations that Bye carried out on his patients whilst working as a physician at his medical practice in the small town of Frosta in central Norway.

The court in the city of Trondelag banned Bye from exercising his medical profession indefinitely and demanded he financially compensate his victims.

A harrowing total of 94 women testified during the trial, describing how wicked Bye committed multiple acts of non-consensual touching and digital penetration without medical justification.

The acts all constitute rape under Norwegian law.

Addressing the court on Friday, Judge Espen Haug reportedly said: “The suspect’s actions make this case an extremely serious one. The actions are unacceptable.

“The defendant’s actions happened in a place and setting where people are supposed to feel safe.

“His actions have undermined public trust in the health service as well as doctors in general.”

The 55-year-old defendant stood up and appeared calm as the maximum sentence was handed to him.

The sentence matched the one requested by the prosecution.

Bye’s defense had argued for lesser sentence, recognising only 20 of the rapes.

Bye also filmed the assaults.

Cops seized over 6,000 hours of footage during their investigation, including of his gynaecological examinations.

Bye was shown to have inserted a “deodorant-like”, “bottle-like” and a cylindrical object into the women – with no medical reason for doing so.

One woman, speaking to the court last November, said: “I thought I was going to die”.

Another unnamed woman said she had gone in to her GP’s office for a sore throat – before being given one of the invasive examinations.

She told how she ended up in her underwear on a bench, saying: “I thought that he is my doctor, so I did as he said.”

The indictment against Bye says the alleged assaults “happened quickly and unexpectedly” during the examinations.

Concerns were raised about him as long ago as 2006 – by another doctor in the gynaecology ward at a local hospital.

One of Bye’s patients, who was there for further treatment, said her doctor had massaged her genitals during the exam.

Bye was able to keep his job until the following year when charges were filed.
