Putin plotting ‘final killer offensive’ to attack Ukraine on 3 fronts to win war – even as his losses near ONE MILLION

VLADIMIR Putin is plotting a final killer offensive along three fronts to win the war, a new report claims.

It comes as the Russian army nears one million casualties in its bungled three-year-old invasion and peace talks stall.

Russia has been attacking the Donetsk city of Kramatorsk since the beginning of the war[/caption]

The tyrant is still looking for a knockout blow despite initially saying he would win the war in a matter of days.

Putin is hoping to change that this summer, with a widely expected fresh offensive to begin.

Some 125,000 Russian soldiers are reportedly massing along the Sumy and Kharkiv frontiers, according to Ukraine’s military intelligence.

Over the past fortnight border villages have fallen to Russia as it is believed to be preparing the ground for the invasion.

But some senior commanders in Ukraine believe that could be a feint and Russia is actually preparing to attack further south to push further into the Donbas, Ukraine Pravda reports.

Russia is likely to attack through three areas near each other in the Donbas – Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk.

Vlad already controls more than 95 per cent of Luhansk, but capturing Donetsk would cement his control over the Donbas region and achieve a war aim, albeit a scaled-down one.

The Donbas is an important industrial and mining area – and some 200,000 to 300,000 people still live in four cities controlled by Ukraine.

Moscow’s military planners will be weighing up whether they want to fight through the cities like they did in Bakhmut or encircle them by going around through farmland.

Kramatorsk is the closest city to the front line and is under constant attack by Russia.

A recent drone strike managed to get inside an armoured vehicle carrying Ukrainian soldiers.

Russia has an opportunity to conduct a pincer movement around Kostiantynivka with its soldiers controlling land to the east and west of the city.

Instead of attacking the city directly, the could bypass it and attack Druzhkivka behind it – thereby cutting Kostiantynivka and any Ukrainian soldiers still there off.

In nearby Pokrovsk, Russia already has a salient, a bulge, out from the front line after a previous advance.

Ukraine reports also daily contact with Russian troops in the area.

The Pokrovsk front line is also very near Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – a region of Ukraine the Kremlin hasn’t yet officially claimed.

A successful breakthrough there might mean Putin can actually expand his war goals.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is prepared for a summer offensive and has publicly said Russia is set to escalate the war.

His officials believe peace talks are a ruse – with Putin only wanting to talk to demand the terms of surrender.

The Ukrainians will not give in and any advance by Russia is going to come at a high cost.

Vlad’s army has been making incremental gains along the front line, with troops overwhelming Ukraine in meat grinder assaults.

But for that Russia has suffered 434,000 dead and wounded in the last year, 270 for every square mile they have seized.

Ukraine has used drones and Western-supplied arms to grind the Russians down into a WW1-style trench war.

But observers worry a massive new Russian offensive could break the deadlock.

Moscow has spent the winter recruiting more troops, improving tactics, and enhancing their drones.

An offensive likely won’t use tanks, Polish military analyst Konrad Muzyka told the Telegraph.

He said, instead, Russian troops were advancing using lighter motors.

Muzyka said: “Any large-scale deployment of armour is going to be destroyed relatively quickly.

“We have seen the Russians shift to focused, small-unit attacks, often of just three to five men. Company-size assaults of 50 to 100 men hardly ever happen anymore.”

Donald Trump has said he expects Putin’s retaliation following the stunning Opertion Spiderweb “is not going to be pretty”.

The US President spoke to Vlad on Wednesday – with the Russian saying, according to Trump, he would “have to respond”.

The call followed Operation Spiderweb — a daring Ukrainian drone blitz that wrecked 41 Russian planes across four strategic airfields, in a coordinated assault likened to WWII’s most audacious missions.

Inside Operation Spiderweb

By James Halpin, foreign news reporter

Ukraine’s shock sleeper drone blitz on Russia’s bomber fleet has delivered a hammer blow to Vladimir Putin’s nuclear arsenal.

The SAS-style strike against four airfields deep inside Russia is reminiscent of the most daring raids of the WW2 that turned the tide against the Nazis.

Volodymyr Zelensky oversaw Operation Spiderweb – much like Winston Churchill did as Britain struck deep behind enemy lines.

The Ukrainian said: “It’s genuinely satisfying when something I authorized a year and six months ago comes to fruition and deprives Russians of over forty units of strategic aviation.

“We will continue this work.”

Putin’s doomsday bomber fleet is now crippled with 41, or a third, of his most prized aircraft lying in smouldering wrecks on tarmac.

Ukraine said the sneak attack was worth $7bn (£5.2bn) in damage to Russia – caused by only 117 cheaply made drones.

Like Israel’s mass pager sabotage against Hezbollah, Kyiv has rewritten the rule book in how to strike the heart of their enemy.

Ukraine’s spies spent 18 months putting the plan into action and struck on the eve of fresh peace talks in Istanbul.

Amazon is selling an ‘insulated’ tiny home for just $9,350 – it comes with 2 bedrooms and an ‘enclosed’ hall

TINY homes might be small, but they can sometimes end up being VERY pricey.

So it’s no wonder people are racing to Amazon after spotting a two-bedroom tiny home on the site for just $9,350.

Not only that, but the property itself is insulated – and will keep you warm or cool depending on the temperature outside.

The home stretches over 40ft and features two separate bedrooms – both of which can fit a standard sized bed and storage facilities – a living area and a bathroom.

And it even comes with detailed assembly guides so that users can complete the construction and installation of the home themselves.

There’s also a team online who are available to contact if you struggle with the building.

Another benefit is that the house – made from alloy steel – comes with 10 years rust prevention.

It’s also fully customizable, meaning you can choose a 20 or 30ft option if you need it smaller.

Color wise, you have a choice of white, yellow, black or gray.

One of the main benefits of a tiny home is how much money it can save you.

“The cost of living is skyrocketing, meaning that tiny home living could be the best financial option for you or your family,” the pros over at Environment said.

It’s also a good choice for anyone who tends to build up clutter, as the limited space means there’s no opportunity to do that.

Tiny homes are also “very energy-efficient compared to bigger, more expensive homes”.

“Their sheer size leaves a much smaller carbon footprint than their larger counterparts,” the experts added.

“Many environmental advocates endorse tiny house living, as it helps reduce the negative effects of global warming, which leads to climate change.”

However, there are also a few cons to the lifestyle.

While the lack of space to build up clutter is appealing to some, it’s a huge con for others.

Not to mention that tiny homes depreciate in value from the moment that they are put up.

Where to buy a tiny home

THE tiny home phenomenon found new heights as an alternative living solution for consumers concerned with ballooning homebuying costs and sustainability concerns.

“You can have the most luxurious tiny home on the market, but they often drop in resale value over time,” the experts explained.

FOUR fan-favourite channels will be disappearing this month from Sky which could leave millions of TV fans devastated.

Sky previously announced that seven channels would be changed this month but that has been increased following the latest news as the company’s secret overhaul continues.

Sky have announced four more channels will be replaced this month

Commencing on June 9, 2025, four channels are set to vanish as the company aims to give its service a fresh look.

Sky Family will be temporarily renamed to Sky Fantasy on channel 306/850.

Sky Pitch Perfect, which will replace Sky Comedy on June 7, will be reverted back into Sky Comedy on June 9, 2025.

Meanwhile, Sky Blockbusters which was introduced as a temporary channel in July 2023, will be reverting back to Sky Hits on channel 303.

After it was announced by ITV that their beloved channel ITVBe will cease to exist, the brand new – ITV Quiz – will take its place on channel 131.

This follows Sky already announcing that seven other channels will be changing this month.

From Friday June 6 Sky Romance is set to go forever – now renamed to a different title.

The beloved channel 302 will go by SuperheroHD, which is said to be a temporary change.

Sky Fairytale on channels 306/850 was renamed to Sky Family on June 2, 2025 reverting back from a temporary change.

Sky Karate Kid also had its name changed on June 2, again the channel reverted from a temporary change.

The channel has returned to being named Sky Action on channel 307/851.

Elsewhere, channel 310 which was previously home to Sky Pride has been renamed Sky Drama.

That’s Pride on channel 360 is now under a new name of That’s Dance.

These changes were revealed on a Sky Community page and fans expressed mixed opinions at the news.

One fan said: “Actually disappointed that the Pride channels aren’t lasting all of June, or even maybe a bit longer than a few days.”

Another said: “Great about ITV Quiz channel launching 9th June,

“So excited. It will be interesting to see what day 1 will bring.”

Sky already announced a major shake up to their system that affected all Sky Q and Sky+HD boxes.

After a number of big brands have opted to leave TV services and stick to traditional radio plus digital listening – such as Magic and Absolute Radio at the end of 2023.

To fill gaps from these departures, Sky has decided to re-arrange the channel numbers for a big chunk of the radio stations it offers on satellite.

Sky have revamped their system in order to fill gaps from departing brands

If you’re looking for a new Sky deal, customers can get Sky Stream & Essential TV for just £15/month.

The company is also giving Sky customers an upgrade for popular TV app filled with top movies.

What are Sky's early termination fees?

SKY TV customers will incur an early termination fee if they choose to cancel their contract before the end of the agreed minimum term.

The amount you’re charged depends on:

  • How long is left of your minimum term from the date your subscriptions end, calculated in days
  • The days you have already been billed for in advance
  • The products you subscribe to, the price you pay for them and when your subscriptions end

For Sky TV, early termination charges range from £14.00 to £42.89 per month, depending on the specific package.

For instance, if you cancel a standard Sky TV package priced at £33.82 per month with 12 months remaining on a 24-month contract, you would be required to pay the remaining 12 months’ fees in one lump sum.

This would result in a total early termination fee of £405.84.

Little-known ‘car seat’ rule that can keep travelers safe on flights – but you must make label check before boarding

CHILDREN flyers could be kept safe by ‘car seat’ rule – but parents must make sure to follow airline rules.

The Federal Aviation Administration has revealed the safest way for your child under two to fly.

Car seats must be suitable for airline travel, as specified on the label[/caption]

According to the FAA, the best place to seat your child under two is in an approved child car seat or device based on the child’s weight.

Parents have been advised to make sure they purchase a suitable car seat to ensure their child’s safety.

In order to comply with airline rules, parents must check the label on the car seat.

It should read: “This restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft.”

However, the FAA reminded parents that baby carrier, booster seats and backless child restraints are not allowed during ground movement, take-off or landing.

The FAA explain that holding a child in your lap is not an effective safety measure, particularly in case of turbulence.

They said: “Unrestrained lap children are prone to in-flight injuries, particularly during meal service or turbulence.”

Instead, parents are advised to secure their young children in an approved car seat for the flight’s duration.

Parents can consult manufacturer instructions, or the FAA’s how-to videos, to ensure the seat is secured in place.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recommends that car seats be placed facing rearwards during the flight.

Children should continue to use these safety measures until they are above the height or weight limit of the car seat – as specified by the manufacturer.

The FAA recommends the AmSafe Child Aviation Restraint System for children under two.

This particular model is FAA-certified for children up to 40 inches tall who weigh between 22 and 44 pounds.

It is designed to fit most airline seats, and is suitable throughout the entirety of the flight.

The FAA reminds parents to “check with your airline before your flight to make sure your family is seated together and that your car seat is suitable for air travel.”

When booking seats, there are certain restrictions parents should consider.

Car seats generally should be installed in a window seat, cannot be placed in an exit row and must not block an escape path in an emergency.

Parents should ensure that their chosen car seat is eligible before boarding to reduce delays.

The FAA offers a range of advice to parents, ensuring the smoothest travel experience possible.

Their website also contains a helpful how-to video demonstrating how to install car seats.

These regulations can be airline-dependent so the FAA advises parents to check with their chosen company for specific restrictions.

Caitlin Clark makes major injury announcement with concerning issue keeping her out of Angel Reese clash

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has given an important update on her latest injury.

The Indiana Fever star was diagnosed with a quad strain late last month.

She will be out for this weekend’s rematch against Angel Reese and the Sky[/caption]

Clark sat out the Fever’s 85-76 win over the Washington Mystics on Tuesday.

She has now missed three straight games with the quad issue.

It was the team’s first win since the 23-year-old went down with the issue.

Following the game, Clark gave reporters an update on her status.

And she confirmed she will sit out this weekend’s showdown with the Chicago Sky.

“I’ll miss this weekend’s game, but after that, it’s day-by-day and see how I feel,” Clark said on Wednesday.

“I’ll just turn to the medical staff and what they think.

“I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress and I feel good, and I’m not going to rush coming back. It’s just not worth it.

“But after this weekend, I’ll be reevaluated and we’ll have a better idea of when I’ll return.”

Clark was on the sideline as the Fever benefited from a breakout performance from emergency signing Aari McDonald.

McDonald, 26, signed for the Fever this Monday having been released by the Los Angeles Sparks.

The new arrival had seven points, five assists and three steals off the bench.

“When you’re out there playing, and actually in the heat of the moment, you don’t always realize everything,” Clark claimed after watching from the sideline.

“You see things from a different perspective that maybe the coaching staff didn’t see.”

Clark’s injury means she will miss out on facing rival Angel Reese and the Sky.

The pair’s season-opening showdown led to heated scenes on court.

Reese was knocked to the ground by Clark during the teams’ first meeting last month.

The pair have been rivals since college, where Clark played for Iowa and Reese starred for LSU.

Clark was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, while Reese went No. 7.

The Fever play the Atlanta Dream next Tuesday before taking on defending champions the New York Liberty on June 14.

Pregnant teacher, 36, who had ‘sex with pupil, 15, after she groomed him’ breaks down in tears in court

A PREGNANT teacher of accused having sex with a 15-year-old pupil after grooming him broke down in tears as she appeared in court.

Karly Rae, 36, was arrested in October at her home in New South Wales, Australia on suspicion having intercourse with the boy, who attends her school.

Rae is a special needs teacher – but the schoolboy is not believed to have special needs.

There is also no suggestion that the student is the father of her unborn child.

Rae is alleged to have had sex with the pupil on October 4 last year, shortly before her arrest, according to court docs seen by The Daily Telegraph.

Rae has pleaded not guilty to all charges against her – which also include possession of child abuse material and grooming a child for sex.

During a bail hearing at the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, so the court heard Rae was initially granted bail, but later thrown behind bars for allegedly contacting the student.

On January 14, she rang the alleged victim five times in two hours to persuade him to “give a false version of events”, the court heard, which was said to breach a domestic violence order in place.

Instead of agreeing, the teen told his mother what had happened and went to the police.

Rae was then arrested and has been locked up for the past four months.

However, the judge granted Rae bail on Friday under strict conditions, after hearing about her “high risk” pregnancy.

Justice Dhanji said: “The applicant is 23 weeks pregnant, due to give birth in September.”

The expecting mother reportedly sobbed silently on the video link at the mention of her pregnancy.

The judge noted her pregnancy was high risk owing to her gestational diabetes and history of miscarriages.

But he also ruled that, due to the nature of the allegations against Rae, her child will be unable to stay with her in custody.

Rae was slapped with at least 14 bail condition – including home detention, a ban on social media use, and a requirement to report to Toronto Police Station three times a week.

The judge also said Rae is “no longer able to work as a teacher” and its “highly improbable” she will make attempts to have sex with a child.

Earlier in the week, Rae pleaded not guilty to five charges via video link at Newcastle Magistrates Court.

These included aggravated sexual intercourse with a child aged between 14 and 16, grooming a child for unlawful sexual activity and possession of child abuse material.

Additional charges include acting to pervert the course of justice and breaching the violence order after allegedly contacting the student in January.

Rae’s case will go to trial in the District Court and will be arraigned in July.

Cracker Barrel CEO’s stark admission as brand braces for $5m hit – changes to come in months with three-pronged attack

CRACKER Barrel’s CEO has made an admission about recent struggles as the brand braces for a $5 million hit in the coming weeks.

Julie Masino hosted a Q3 earnings call on Thursday and outlined a three-pronged attack to deal with incoming economic pressures.

CEO Julie Felss Masino led a Q3 earnings call on Thursday[/caption]

Diners have been warned to expect changes over the next few months after Masino admitted the company had hit a “speed bump”.

“I think Q3 is a little bit of a speed bump in kind of what’s been a good year for us so far,” the CEO said.

Despite the company reporting a performance that “exceeded expectations” with a 0.5% revenue increase compared to the same time last year, it is bracing for multi-million dollar headwinds.

It comes as Donald Trump‘s tariffs on imported goods from China wreak havoc on the industry.

“We anticipate the net tariff impact to Q4 EBITDA will be approximately $5 million,” CFO Craig Pommells said during Thursday’s call, admitting the company “didn’t plan for them”.

But, while emphasising that the chain is going through a period of “transformation”, CEO Masino outlined the three-point plan to battle the impact of tariffs.

And it will mean changes for diners including less promotions, possible menu adaptions, and alterations to seasonal offers.

“Our approach to mitigate the tariff impacts includes first, aggressively negotiating with vendors, second, alternate sourcing, and third, pricing,” she said.

The CEO noted that to mitigate tariffs they are making adjustments to their inventory, cutting the number of seasonal themes, and changing how and when they promote certain offers.

Those who look forward to getting into the mood early for events like Halloween and Christmas will have to wait a bit longer this year.

“We’ve been known to put Christmas and Halloween out quite early, and so we’re readjusting some of that timing to really be more in time with where consumer needs state and demand is,” Masino revealed.

She highlighted how time will be a “very big factor” in upcoming changes to the business’s strategy but remained determined saying, “we actually have to keep going because we have a business to run.”

Masino confirmed that negotiations with vendors have been “tremendous” as the company also explores alternate sourcing.

Cracker Barrel chiefs were reluctant to divulge possible changes to pricing, saying it is a “last lever” as the company hopes to “absorb the tariff situation” and continue giving value to customers.

The hesitancy to announce price changes comes after diners have shared their frustrations over the past few months after already noticing price hikes and lashing out.

Some diners have already raged about changes the chain has been making (stock)[/caption]

“As a last lever and look, pricing is an option. But we’re being very thoughtful about pricing because this business is discretionary,” Masino said.

“And we know from work that we’ve done around the transformation that value is important in this business just like it is in our restaurant business.”

It is expected that during the next call in September, Cracker Barrel could announce more concrete price adjustments as well as other changes including store remodels.

As part of its three-year “test-and-learn initiative” after declining customer counts, the company has undertaken multiple restaurant remodels to the tune of $700 million.

But while Masino said they are getting positive feedback from employees and customers, some fans may not take future changes well.

Some have already begged the chain to “change it back” saying it is “destroying itself” while others fear its “demise”.

Now diners have to wait for September to learn how they will be affected by pricing and store changes.

Meanwhile, a beloved steakhouse has confirmed a major change and Kroger has been accused of “failing customers”.
