Kansas City Chiefs surprise young NFL fan with gift after Patrick Mahomes headband was stolen by ‘new Phillies Karen’

The youngster was seen being gifted a headband by quarterback Mahomes at MetLife Stadium.

But as he took the momento from the two-time MVP, it was taken from his grasp by local woman Nina Miller.

Masters, who lives in New York, got tickets to watch the Chiefs vs Giants for his 10th birthday.

“I just want that band back really bad,” Joey told Kansas City news station KCTV5.

“Patrick Mahomes walked over to me, locked eyes with me, tries to give me his headband and the woman just swoops in and snatches it from me.”

“It was such a great day,” added Joey’s mom Mindy.

“The players were amazing with us, the fans were.

“Just to have one person swoop in and take that from him is heartbreaking for a mother to watch.”

The Chiefs have since caught on to the viral storm created by the incident.

And they decided to send Joey a money-can’t-buy gift.

The 10-year-old was seen unpacking a huge haul of gifts in a new social media update.

Joey received a signed Chiefs jersey from Mahomes, as well as a headband worn by the play-caller in a recent game.

He also unpacked a host of Chiefs merch, including a cap, flag and water bottle.

Miller broke her silence on the incident last month, insisting the “noise and excitement” led her to grab the headband from Joey.

General Motors quietly teases beloved American muscle car comeback as company files telling trademark

GEARHEADS have been left wondering if a nostalgic muscle car that was previously discontinued could be making a comeback.

Chevrolet Camaros stopped rolling off production lines after the 2024 model year was released.

Speculation is swirling whether the Chevy Camaro could make a comeback[/caption]

But, a move made more than 7,000 miles away has sparked fresh hope that the car could make a return, as reported by GM Authority.

This is because a trademark for the Camaro name has been filed in Cambodia.

And, the trademark was submitted with officials on September 25.

In the US, the Camaro trademark remains active with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The Camaro first rolled off production lines in 1966 and was designed to compete with the Ford Mustang.

And, the car was initially popular because the engine was at the front and it had a rear-wheel design.

The brand’s second-generation Camaro saw upgrades made to the car, including air conditioning and power units.

Chevrolet’s 2009 Camaro was inspired by a retro design and powered by a 3.6L V6 engine.

The car contained nods to its original design – both on the outside and inside.

In 2023, Chevrolet chiefs announced the muscle car would be discontinued.

But, they revealed that it wouldn’t be the end of the Camaro “story.”

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro one liter version retailed at $32,495 but a Collector’s Edition version would set drivers back more than $47,000.

In August, speculation swirled that the Camaro could be coming back, but as an electric version.

Chatter ramped up when Ford bosses announced its 2025 Mustang Mach-E.

Electric vehicles vs gas

Pros and cons of EVs vs gasoline-powered vehicles

EV PROS:

  • Convenient (when charging at home)
  • Cheaper (depending on state or city)
  • Cheaper maintenance, due to lack of mechanical parts
  • Great for commuting
  • Reduced CO2 emissions
  • Federal and state tax incentives
  • More performance (speed, handling – depending on the make and model)

EV CONS:

  • Higher initial cost
  • Higher insurance rates
  • More frequent tire and brake replacement intervals
  • Higher curb weight (thus causing more rapid wear on crucial parts)
  • Low resale value
  • High depreciation rates
  • Lack of charging infrastructure
  • Unreliable public charging (related: slow charging times)
  • Poor winter and summer performance
  • Lack of clean energy alternatives means more “dirty energy” from coal and nuclear sources
  • Range anxiety

GAS PROS:

  • Highly developed refueling infrastructure
  • Fast refueling
  • Cheaper insurance rates, depending on make, model, and configuration
  • Established repair industry
  • Lower initial cost
  • Higher range before refueling, especially with hybrids
  • Many manufacturers produce nearly emission-less engines
  • Cheaper refueling, depending on the location

GAS CONS:

  • Finite resource (related: heavy dependence on petroleum)
  • Carbon emissions/greenhouse gases
  • Higher repair costs
  • Higher insurance rates, depending on make, model, and configuration
  • Varying costs at the pump, depending on state, city, and county

The Mach-E Select retails from $37,000 and has a range of 320 miles.

Drivers can choose a variety of colors, ranging from blue metallic to shadow black.

Chevrolet bosses refused to comment if the Camaro would make a comeback.

“We do not comment on speculation,” Chad Lyons, the Chevrolet executive director of communications, told MotorTrend.

“For competitive reasons, we do not disclose our future product plans.”

Eagles receivers Devonta Smith and AJ Brown awkwardly collide on Hail Mary attempt as fans joke it’s a ‘tush push remix’

THE Philadelphia Eagles have suffered their first loss of the season after a failed Hail Mary attempt.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts, 27, could not land his target as the Eagles suffered a 21-17 loss against the Denver Broncos.

Defeat against the Denver Broncos marks the Eagles’ first loss of the season[/caption]

Receivers Devonta Smith, 26, and AJ Brown, 28, awkwardly collided in the end zone as time expired.

The ball appeared to land in both players’ hands before spilling forwards and out of bounds.

Both players laid motionless on the grass for several seconds with Smith pinning Brown down.

This brings the Super Bowl LIX champions’ impressive winning run to an end.

NFL fans have taken to social media to ridicule the side for the game’s awkward ending.

“Eagles were committing so many DPI this game they even committed one against themselves,” one fan posted on X.

“Legend has it Devonta Smith and AJ Brown are still laying there,” another joked.

It has been a difficult start to the season for Brown as he enters his fourth campaign with the Eagles.

The receiver deleted a cryptic X post last week as he struggles to find form.

Brown has managed just 19 receptions from his opening five games of the 2025 season.

He has averaged just 10.2 yards per game.

This is far below the 16.1 yards that Brown averaged during last year’s regular season.

The experienced star appeared to have turned a corner as he scored a touchdown in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.

But, his poor form continued as he made just seven yards from nine passes last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

His 43 yards against the Broncos stands as Brown’s second-best performance of the season so far.

However, his improvement has been marred by the horror-show ending.

“Eagles really cooking up a tush push remix,” a third fan posted in reference to the side’s controversial trademark short-yardage play.

“It is the city of brotherly love, this a lil too brotherly though,” a fourth added.

The Eagles continue to lead the NFC ahead of the San Francisco 49ers in second place.

Next up is the New York Giants on Thursday, who are looking to claim just their second win of a season.
