RUSSIA’S grim roll call of high-profile deaths has grown again — this time claiming the man who once controlled the Kremlin’s loudest propaganda voice.
Vyacheslav Leontyev, 87, the secretive boss of the Pravda publishing empire, plunged 70ft from the balcony of his Moscow apartment.

Police say they are investigating whether the Saturday night death was an accident, suicide, or foul play.
Leontyev was in charge of the famous Soviet newspaper Pravda – or Truth – the main organ of the ruling Communist Party, and continued in the role long after the collapse of the USSR in 1991.

NFL fans demand Emari Demercado is suspended after shockingly dropping ball before scoring touchdown
ARIZONA Cardinals running back Emari Demercado had a moment of madness against the Tennessee Titans.
The 26-year-old rusher dropped the ball on the goal line on what should have been a 72-yard fourth quarter touchdown.

Demercado began his celebration too soon after a brilliant run to begin the fourth quarter.
On just his second rushing opportunity of the afternoon, the former TCU rusher burst through the Titans defense.
He ran 72 yards to the house – but began his celebrations too early.
On review, officials spotted that Demercado lost control of the ball on the 1-yard line.
He fumbled into the endzone, resulting in a touchback for the Titans.
A score would have put the Cardinals up 28-6, effectively icing the game late on.
Instead, the team would collapse to one of the most improbable losses of recent years.
“I made a mistake. There’s really no excuse,” Demercado said after the game.
“I was obviously emotional. It was a big play, but I just got to be smarter.”
“This should result in an automatic suspension. This is the definition of conduct determental[sic] to the league,” raged one fan on X.
“If I own the Arizona Cardinals I don’t wait until tomorrow morning,” added a second.
“I fire their Head Coach (Jonathan Gannon) immediately for his ultra conservative play calling on their last possession & release running their back (Emari Demercado) for this INEXCUSABLE play.
“Criticize Emari Demercado all you want but it looked cool how he slowed down right before the goal line and decided not to hold onto the ball. You cannot put a price on cool like that,” quipped a third.
“It’s not about being smarter. It’s called putting the team first. Why do you slowdown? To show off?” wrote a fourth.

The Titans stormed back in a crazy fourth quarter thanks to a rushing TD from Tony Pollard and a bizarre touchdown from receiver Tyler Lockett.
Arizona picked off Cam Ward with four minutes remaining on the clock.
But safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson fumbled the INT, with Cardinals defenders failing to recover the ball and inadvertently kicking it into the endzone.
Tennessee then sealed the 22-21 win with a last-ditch field goal from Joey Slye.

“I don’t really know what to think about [the loss],” stunned Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray told reporters after the game.
“I don’t even know. I really don’t even know.
“I just think if you look at the mistakes, I think we played well enough to win the game.
“But crucial, bonehead mistakes just gave them a chance to stay in the game.
“I think they were literally a play away from quitting, but we left them, and we kept them in the game.”
Dark twist after catastrophic fire engulfs South Carolina judge Diane Goodstein’s beachfront mansion & leaves 3 injured
DRAMATIC video shows a judge’s $1.5 million sprawling beachfront home being gutted by a raging inferno.
Orange flames overwhelmed and ravaged the property, leaving just its shell remaining.

And, footage shared online showed black smoke billowing into the sky.
The four-bedroom property in Edisto Island, South Carolina, belonged to Diane Goodstein, 69, and her husband Arnold, a former state lawmaker.
She was not inside her beachfront property at the time of Saturday’s fire, but three people were injured.
She had been out on the beach walking her dogs.
But, her husband jumped out of the home and was left with injuries to his feet, legs and hips.
Paramedics were forced to use a canoe and rope when they rescued Arnold.
This is because he was stranded in a marshy area near the home, as per the Post and Courier.
Cops are still probing the cause of the blaze.
John Kittredge, South Carolina’s chief justice, said an apparent explosion destroyed the home.
The authorities are yet to confirm if the fire was arson.
A source close to Goodstein told Fits News she had previously received death threats.
Last month, Goodstein hit the headlines when she issued a temporary restraining measure that stopped South Carolina officials from handing over voters’ data to the federal government.
She issued the measure in light of privacy concerns.
The Department of Justice had ordered the state to hand over data of more than three million people.
A judge has since overruled the restraining measure.
Goodstein was elected as a Resident Circuit Judge in May 1998.
She is part of the South Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Meanwhile, her husband ran a home building firm that shut down in 2008 and filed for bankruptcy.
He had previously served Charleston County as a Democratic politician.
The couple’s son, Arnold Goodstein II, was also rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
One person who was injured was airlifted to the hospital.
Goodstein is yet to comment on the fire.

Buffalo Bills fan has bizarre reaction to catching stray ball from Josh Allen – ‘maybe he doesn’t want to be on TV’
A BUFFALO BILLS fan ran away from the stadium after catching a stray ball from Josh Allen.
The bizarre incident took place on Sunday at the Highmark Stadium where the Bills hosted the New England Patriots.

Buffalo suffered a 23-20 loss to the Patriots, which left some of the home fans with a bitter taste.
However, there is one fan that seems to have left the ground with a happy memory.
A hilarious incident took place during the third quarter when Allen, 29, produced a poor throw.
The quarterback sent the ball all the way to the stands as he completely missed his teammates.
The ball was caught by a lucky fan, who showed great hands upon receiving it.
But suddenly the supporter ran off his seat and rushed to the nosebleed section towards the exit.
The fan wasn’t seen again as he seemed to have taken his ball and went home.
The incident got funnier thanks to NFL announcer Mike Tirico‘s play-by-play commentary.
Tirico said: “Nice catch there. Oh, he’s gone!
“He’s in row 10, he’s in row 15, he might get a beer!
“Where are you going man? It’s your moment. He’s gonna take the distance!
” Maybe it wasn’t his seat, maybe he doesn’t want to be on TV, he’s gone!”
NFL fans were left in stitches as they rushed social media trying to make sense of the situation.
One fan tweeted: “S**** already on eBay lol.”
Another commented: “That’s generational wealth in his hands, I’d be gone too.”
A third wrote: “He said forget the game, I just secured my retirement plan, lol.”
This fan said: “Bro caught the ball and retired from fandom on the spot man said, ‘Career highlight, I’m out’.”
That one posted: “By far the most exciting play of the game.”
Finally that one stated: “Didn’t even celebrate, man said, ‘Thanks for the souvenir, I’m outta here’.”
