Love Island’s Harry accused of dumping stunning girl he was dating just days before cast reveal saying ‘I’m off to Bali’

LOVE Island star Harry Cooksley has been accused of dumping a stunning girl he was dating, just days before the cast reveal – and told her he was “off to Bali.”

The midfielder, 30, is said to be known as The Surrey Zidane by fans of his side, Farnham Town.

Harry is hoping to find love on the new and upcoming series of Love Island

Now the lad will be hoping to find love in Majorca as part of Maya Jama’s squad

But right up until the moment the cast of the 2025 series was revealed, a girl has claimed that Harry was dating her.

Heartbroken by the revelation that he’d be starring on Love Island she called him a “liar,” and explained that she thought he was flying out to Bali, not to the villa in Mallorca.

She told The Sun: “I was dating Harry until the moment he sat on the flight going to Love Island.

“He told me he was going to Bali and I genuinely thought we had a future together, but no. He is a huge manipulator and I’m not the only girl he’s done this too.”

She continued to explain that other girls had spoken to her, claiming they, too, were dating Harry.

She added: “Turns out he was dating a few people at once.”

She continued: “He called me for three hours before he jetted off to Love Island, and told me he was going to Bali to build a life for our family. It’s so scary how he lied to me, and I feel so broken. I’ve been completely blindsided by him.

“I also got a call from another girl after it came to light that he was going on the show, and she said he’d been dating her for seven months, at the same time that he was dating me.

“I was even planning on meeting him out in Bali, because it was such a secure conversation and he never ended what we had, despite knowing he was going on Love Island.”

In a heartbreaking final revelation she added: “I’ve never cried so much and felt so blindsided and lied to like this from another human being.”

ITV has responded to the claims, saying: “All of our Islanders are single and looking for love,” when approached for comment.

Ahead of Harry’s arrival on the hit show, a source said: “Harry’s got the full package – a great, athletic bod and great chat.

“Love Island’s ladies love a footballer and The Surrey Zidane will be sure to impress as he plays away.”

When asked if he has a claim to fame, the Guildford-native said: “I’m the body double for Declan Rice.

“So when he does a shoot, any body close ups will actually be me.

“You’ll never see my face, but you’ll see my shoulder or chest, that kind of thing.”

Tijjani Reijnders is £46million Man City signing who worked in ALDI and is named after legendary winger

TIJJANI REIJNDERS is perfectly placed to lead Manchester City’s £130million supermarket sweep.

The versatile midfielder used to stack shelves in Aldi but is now the first signing of a huge summer for Pep Guardiola.

He is a midfielder who can do a bit of everything[/caption]

Reijnders, 26, idolises Kevin De Bruyne and will now be tasked with filling the gaping void left by the Belgian superstar.

When the Netherlands international joined Milan he was asked about his rise to the top and said: “I recently noticed an article ‘from amateur to AC Milan‘.

“But when I think about it, I like ‘from Aldi to AC Milan’ even better!”

Aldi to Manchester City will have an even better ring to it for Guardiola’s new midfield general.

It is quite the challenge for the midfielder, though he arrives with some stellar references.

Milan and Netherlands great Frank Rijkaard is convinced Reijnders is destined for the top.

Speaking earlier this season, he said: “I hope that Reijnders becomes one of the best midfielders in the world… I sincerely believe he’s already on the right path.

“I really like his style of play. He can cover all roles in the midfield and shows his generosity: he never holds back from a run for the team and always gives his best.

“With the quality he has, he’s excellent at creating dangerous chances for his teammates and setting up the play well.”

Reijnders can bring a bit of everything to a Manchester City midfield in need of a shot in the arm.

The former AZ Alkmaar man made more interceptions than any other midfielder in Serie A this season as well as creating the most chances from open play.

He may not have the craft of De Bruyne when it comes to creating chances – there are few, if any, who do – but Reijnders can also find the back of the net.

Milan’s maestro bagged 15 goals from midfield this term – two more than any other midfielder in the Italian top flight.

Reijnders’ path to the top has been carefully plotted, aided by his father and agent, Martin – a former player himself who was a team-mate of Jaap Stam at Dutch side Zwolle.

The family clearly planned a footballing career for their son from day one, naming him Tijjani after former Nigerian winger, Tijani Babangida.

Younger brother Eliano also plays for his father’s former side, Zwolle.

Martin revealed after sealing Tijjani’s move to Milan that the pair had decided to turn down Barcelona in order to join the Rossoneri.

Barca were on the lookout for an heir to Sergio Busquets and Reijnders’ father made the brave and bold decision to tell his son that he was not quite up to the task.

Reijnders is hoping to fill the void left behind by Kevin De Bruyne[/caption]

He told Dutch outlet Algemeen Dagblad: “I immediately told Tijjani, ‘You are not that type of player. Before you know it, you’ll end up on the bench. And you’d become yet another player who fails abroad.'”

There was Premier League interest two years ago, but Reijnders has rapidly developed in Milan and now feels prepared to take his biggest step yet.

As well as carefully planning his progression, Reijnders has studied fellow players to add as much to his game as possible.

Speaking to The Athletic, Reijnders said: “When I got older, I looked a lot at Kevin De Bruyne. I watched his games, YouTube clips.

“Especially the way he was scanning the pitch before he gets the ball so he always knows where the space is.

“I try to do the same.”

Before looking to add elements of De Bruyne to his game, City’s new man carefully studied another Guardiola stalwart in Andres Iniesta.

There are few deals which can be a sure thing, not every signing is as obvious as Erling Haaland.

But in Reijnders, Manchester City look to have identified a player capable of grabbing hold of a game who is primed to slot straight into a Guardiola side.

TUI has announced it’s reintroducing direct flights from East Midlands Airport to Sharm El Sheikh next year.

The first flight is scheduled for Thursday, 26 March 2026 and the service will operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Thursdays – flight time will be five and a half hours.

TUI UK&I Commercial Director Chris Logan said: “Due to strong customer demand, we are thrilled to once again connect the East Midlands with the stunning Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.

“With hundreds of amazing hotels to choose from and guaranteed sunshine, Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect destination for a summer holiday.

“We have plenty of amazing all-inclusive deals with flexible flying options, and some of the best splash parks to entertain the kids”.

During the summer months, temperatures in Sharm el Sheikh sit between 35 and 38C.

Sharm el Sheikh is also a popular winter sun destination because its average temperature is 24C which is around 17C warmer than the UK for that time of year.

It’s not just flights, TUI also offers all-inclusive holiday packages to the resort.

TUI offers a four-night holiday to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt staying at the 4T+ Rixos Sharm El Sheikh.

An all-inclusive basis starts from £1237 per person.

TUI offers a seven-night holiday to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt staying at the 5T TUI BLUE Sensatori Coral Sea.

An all-inclusive basis here start from £1349 per person – which works out at £192.70 pp per night.

Both are based on two adults sharing a room with flights leaving in summer 2026.

Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt was once one of the most popular holiday destinations for Brits, particularly through the 1990s.

It remained popular until 2015, when a terror attack on a Russian passenger plane killed all 224 onboard.

Flights from the UK were stopped for four years, with TUI reintroducing holiday packages in 2019.

This was following the UK Foreign Office issuing new guidance which said Sharm el-Sheikh was considered safe after the airport security was overhauled and updated.

However, just a few months later Covid hit, meaning the holiday resort once again saw tourist levels drop.

TUI reintroduced the route again in summer 2022, and summer 2023 due to the rise in popular demand.

In recent years, Egypt has been named the ‘best value for money’ destination, according to the Post Office Travel Money analysis.

On average, meals and drinks are significantly cheaper than in the UK.

Emmerdale’s big Robert Sugden return falls flat as ratings are revealed – and it’s bad news for the soap

EMMERDALE’S big return for Robert Sugden failed to impress fans – with ratings DROPPING from the previous night.

The ITV soap’s big comeback for actor Ryan Hawley six years was hoped to bring in a major ratings boost for the cash-strapped channel.

ITV
Robert crashed his ex-husband Aaron’s wedding in the hope of winning him back[/caption]

However that failed to materialise with his return actually seeing viewers switch off.

In fact the episode broadcast the evening before his comeback pulled in just over 3.1m viewers.

By Wednesday, the day of Robert’s big return – and despite ITV axing the episode from its streaming service ITVX in an effort to get people to watch the TV broadcast – just over 3m tuned in with the show losing viewers.

Worst still – the next night that continued Robert’s return saw a further 600,000 viewers switch off.

In contrast the first edition after Robert was returned to prison, the following Monday’s episode rebounded to 3.1m.

A source said: “It’s not ideal for such a big moment to not pull in the numbers.

“Bosses expected a great deal of excitement from fans about Robert’s return but it doesn’t seem to have transferred into actual ratings.

“The so-called Robron coupling was seen as a previous heyday for the show to tap into – but the reality appears to be quite different.

“With all the cuts ITV is having to make, people will be wondering if his return is worth it.”

Actor Ryan, who quit the show in 2019, recently revealed he had been struggling for work during his six year absence from the show.

It even led him to move to Brazil with his wife Daisy Prestes de Oliveira and their children for a life away from the spotlight.

“I’ve got to do things like All Creatures Great and Small, Miss Scarlet, Casualty and Silent Witness,” he told the Mirror.

“I wasn’t as busy as I would have liked, but that meant I got to be around my kids a lot, so I was very lucky.”

The ITV soaps both suffered a blow at this year’s British Soap Awards with Emmerdale winning just two awards and Coronation Street on compared to EastEnders’ eight and Hollyoaks‘ three.

The easy way to stop flies coming into your home and dying on your windowsill this summer using a £1 seasoning buy

FLIES are a common pest in the summer.

And although they are harmless, they are annoying to deal with when all you want to do is sit down and relax in the summer heat.

Getty
Here’s how to keep flies out of the home this summer[/caption]

While we often open the windows or doors in the summer to keep us cool, flies also have the same idea.

The reason we see an influx in the heat is because they too are trying to get out of the sun’s rays.

This can often lead to flies buzzing around the home before eventually falling dead and creating a mess on your windowsill.

Thankfully, an expert has shared a simple way to keep them away for good.

While commercial fly sprays are convenient, they contain toxic chemicals that can pollute your home and be poisonous to breathe in.

This might lead you to try a more natural method to keep them away.

Andre Kazimierski, a cleaning expert from Sophia’s Cleaning, and has shared how you can easily keep flies away without spraying chemicals using a kitchen staple.

He revealed some cayenne pepper, which many will already have in their seasoning drawer is all you need.

He said: “Mix cayenne pepper with a cup of water to make a simple spray that repels common fruit flies.

To be exact, mix one tablespoon of cayenne pepper in two cups of hot water.”

It may sound odd, but flies rely on their sense of smell to find food and to navigate their surroundings.

However, cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which has an incredibly strong smell and is also spicy so will really irritate flies senses.

Not only do flies find cayenne pepper uncomfortable, but it makes them less interested in lingering about as it will mask the smell of food that attracts them to homes.

To keep flies away with the DIY solution, you will need to boil 475ml of water in a kettle, then pour the water into a bowl.

Keep pests out all summer

IF you want to ensure that your home is pest free this summer, here's what you need to know.

Hornets and wasps – hate the smell of peppermint oil so spraying this liberally around your patio or balcony can help to keep them at bay.

Moths – acidic household white vinegar is effective for deterring moths. Soak some kitchen roll in vinegar and leave it in your wardrobe as a deterrent.

Flying ants – herbs and spices, such as cinnamon, mint, chilli pepper, black pepper, cayenne pepper, cloves, or garlic act as deterrents.

Mosquitoes – plants, herbs and essential oil fragrances can help deter mozzies inside and out. Try eucalyptus, lavender and lemongrass.

Add one or two tablespoons of cayenne pepper to the bowl and give it a good stir.

Wait for the water to cool down before placing it into an empty spray bottle.

You can usually buy spray bottles in the cleaning section of most supermarkets but pound shops, garden centres and hardware stores will also sell them.

Spray the solution around windows, doorways, kitchen and anywhere else flies are known buzz about.

Flies will naturally stay far away from the spicy scent so your home is more likely to stay insect free throughout the summer.

Cayenne pepper can travel in the air after spraying and get into pets eyes so generally should not be used if you have a cat or dog.

You can purchase a container of the seasoning for as little as £1 in Tesco.

Moment police dog sinks teeth into snivelling thug after he brutally attacked woman in street robbery

THIS is the moment a police dog sank its teeth into a squealing thug after he attacked a woman in the street.

Leslie Sedgewick followed the lone woman before ambushing her from behind as she walked to work in Middlesbrough.

The 44-year-old then punched and kicked her to the ground before stealing her mobile during the attack.

She managed to flee the horror and alert police after suffering a suspected broken nose and a chipped tooth.

Footage shows PC Lee Whitehouse arrive on the scene with police dog Kira following the December 20 robbery.

The cop told Sedgewick to stop but he instead fled to nearby garages where he was tackled by PD Kira.

Bodycam shows the thug squealing in terror as the dog keeps a grip on his arm.

At one point, he pathetically squeals: “I’m sorry!”

Police later discovered Sedgwick had changed his clothes and dumped the woman’s stolen items at a house nearby.

He has now been jailed for four years and five months after he pleaded guilty to robbery.

The victim told Teesside Crown Court how she had to hide her horror injuries from her child “so she didn’t see and ask what had happened to me”.

She also revealed she was “petrified” during the attack and did not know if she was “going to die”.

The woman added: “I am constantly in fear that I don’t know who is around me or what they are capable of doing.”

Detective Constable Pierce Ditchburn said: “This was a terrifying attack on a lone woman early in the morning, just a few days before Christmas.

“Leslie Sedgewick targeted the woman for her mobile phone and has been attempting to steal a bike in the moments leading up to this attack.

“No one should ever have to be afraid to go anywhere alone.

“I’m pleased that Sedgewick is now behind bars, and hope that this justice can help provide some comfort to the victim in this case.”
