HIT show Chicago Fire is facing a major cast shakeup just mere weeks after two stars were callously axed.
It was revealed on Thursday that recent newcomer Michael Bradway will not be coming back to the hit show for the next season.

Michael, who starred as Kelly Severide’s (portrayed by Taylor Kinney) half-brother Jack Damon for the last two seasons, will not be returning for Season 14.
He was recently cast in Prime Video’s series adaptation of Carley Fortune’s 2022 novel Every Summer After, with production already underway.
Just yesterday, Michael took to his Instagram page to speak about his new upcoming role.
He said: “Couldn’t be more excited to be your Charlie.”
Though he is now departing Chicago Fire, producers are said to be open to having him reprise his role in the future, should his schedule allow it.
Fans have already began reacting to the news of Michael’s departure.
One person said, “Not liking the changes: he’s out and he’s in.
“I am late to the party but adding someone unknown to replace those not invited back makes me not want to attend.”
A second person said, “I’ll miss him and the others leaving Chicago Fire. I really liked all 3.”
“I hate to know 3 regulars that we all really liked will not be returning! Shoot,” said a third.
“Please get this show more stable characters,” added a fourth.
On X, someone else said, “WHAT IS GOING ON!!!”.
“I’VE HAD ENOUGH. WTH IS GOING ON FOR REAL????” said another.
While a different fan wrote: “RIP they keep cutting off all of these newer characters….and like how are they going to explain it???
“A truck with 2-3 regulars and rest as floaters??? I don’t see the shows lasting long if this keeps happening…..”
The other two notable departures from the hit series are Daniel Kyri (Darren Ritter) and Jake Lockett (Sam Carver).
Additionally, Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett) and Eamonn Walker (Wallace Boden) also departed during or at the end of Season 12, though Eamonn is poised to return in a recurring role.
The hit NBC show explores the professional and personal lives of the firefighters, rescue personnel, and paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department.
The series is based at fictional Firehouse 51, which is the home of the Engine 51, Truck 81, Rescue Squad 3 and Ambulance 61.
Chicago Fire premiered on October 10, 2012, with almost 300 episodes having aired since.
On May 5, 2025, the series was renewed for its fourteenth season.
