CHICK-FIL-A has added a popular drink flavour to its menu for summer, and that’s not all.
The fast food chain has also introduced a limited edition item you’re going to want to try for yourself.
It began on June 9, and the treats have gone nationwide to enjoy the summer season.
Celebrating its 16th year, the Peach Milkshake has returned to menus.
The treat is perfect for the season, topped with peaches, whipped cream and a cherry.
Originally crafted by Chick-fil-A Culinary Lead Angela Canada, it is inspired by her grandmother’s homemade peach ice cream recipe.
Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A said: “There’s something about the Peach Milkshake that really feels like the start of summer, and for 16 years our Guests have expected–and anticipated – its return.”
Joining the milkshake is a new limited edition item, the Peach Frosted Lemonade.
The refreshing treat combines Chick-fil-A lemonade and Icedream dessert mixed with peaches.
The fresh lemon juice perfectly complements the fruity flavors.
Both the milkshake and the lemonade are available at participating restaurants while supplies last.
SNACK ATTACK
There’s also food options to keep your belly full this summer.
The Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips give foodies a freshly breaded outside texture, with a juicy flavor inside.
The strips are designed for you to make them your own, and you can choose from seven sauces to do so.
If you feel like doubling up and finding the perfect flavor combo, you can.
The sauces available include the Chick-fil-A Sauce, Polynesian Sauce, Barbeque Sauce, Honey Mustard Sauce, Zesty Buffalo Sauce, Garden Herb Ranch Sauce and Sweet & Spicy Sriracha Sauce.
Duncan continued: “As we continue to surprise and delight our Guests with new and unique flavors throughout the year, we wanted to offer a spin on the peach taste everyone knows and loves with the Peach Frosted Lemonade.
“So whether it’s a picnic in the park with friends, or a weeknight dinner with family, our Peach treats – paired with crispy Chick-n-Strips – are the perfect duo to share a bite and soak up the flavors of summer.”
PINEAPPLE DRAGONFRUIT
In more good news, the Pineapple Dragonfruit seasonal beverages will be kept around for a few more months.
The Pineapple Dragonfruit won fans over with its tropical flavor, and has done enough to earn a summer spot on the menu.
Initially introduced on the spring menu, the drink’s popularity means it will be sticking around for summer.
Customers will be able to enjoy the drink all summer long until August 16, while supplies last.
