BABY Emmanuel Haro is still missing and presumed dead nearly a month after his mom claimed he was kidnapped in a parking lot.
But new details about the 7-month-old’s parents continue to emerge as they both are accused of murdering their son and covering it up.

Speculation about Jake, 32, and Rebecca Haro’s role in their son’s disappearance quickly arose after Rebecca claimed he was taken from the Big 5 Sporting Goods store parking lot in Yucaipa on August 14.
Police pointed out discrepancies in her story, eventually leading them to conclude that the abduction that 41-year-old Rebecca spoke about had never occurred at all.
Suspicions continued to grow as police searched his car, and disturbing details about his history of child cruelty resurfaced.
Now, new information about Jake’s upbringing has shed more light on the man accused of murdering his own son.
Criminal defense attorney Alexandria Kazarian spoke about Jake’s tumultuous family life on NewsNation’s Banfield on Monday.
The lawyer said Jake was separated from his family as a child, meaning his alleged abuse and neglect of Emmanuel could be continuing a sick cycle learned at a young age.
“It sounds like this is a long, long time cycle of abuse that’s happening in this family,” Kazarian told NewsNation.
Kazarian alleged that Jake’s grandfather was mentally ill and that his mother struggled with addiction.
“[The mom] left him at home, not only with his grandfather, who wasn’t fit to watch over him, but there were also domestic violence issues between his mother and his father,” Kazarian said.
She went on to say that by the time Jake was 13, he, his brother, and his sister were taken away from their parents and placed with an adoptive family.
It’s unclear where Kazarian gathered this information.
She didn’t immediately return The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
Jake pleaded guilty to child cruelty in 2018 after he severely abused his 10-month-old daughter, leaving her permanently disabled.
The judge let him off with a suspended sentence and ordered him to attend a child abuse program.
