THE Cincinnati Bengals coach has issued an injury update on Joe Burrow after the quarterback was forced to have foot surgery.
Burrow went down with a major injury during Sunday’s clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Zac Taylor isn’t ruling out Burrow’s return before the end of the season, though[/caption]
Speaking after the game, coach Zac Taylor gave an update on how long he’d spend on the injury reserve list.
He said, “At least the next four weeks. That’s the best I can give you.”
It is likely, however, that Burrow will be sidelined for nearly three months with turf toe.
Despite this, Taylor said he was positive that Burrow would play again this season.
He didn’t eliminate the possibility that his QB could return after the mandated minimum absence.
Even with Burrow’s injury, the Bengals went on to beat the Jaguars 31-27.
Backup quarterback Jake Browning scored a last-minute touchdown to seal victory for Cincinnati.
After the game, Taylor also praised Browning’s performance off the bench.
He commented, “We have a ton of confidence in Jake.
“He proved that yesterday against what everybody’s going to see as a good football team.
“I’m excited for Jake to go out there and play. He’s earned the right to be in the spotlight.
“The guys will ride behind him. I feel very confident in Jake.
“He has proven his caliber in this league.
“He can help us win football games and contend for all the things we want to contend for.”
