A CONVENIENCE store chain with a cult following coming to a major US state in a new way.

The chain is looking for employees to work there who have a smile, and there are even more new locations on the horizon.

A convenience store chain with a cult following is bursting onto the scene in a major US state in the first way of its kind[/caption]

The Texas based travel station company Buc-ee’s is coming to the state of Virginia this summer, and you won’t be able to miss it.

It will be based in the Mount Crawford area, right off of Exit 240 on Interstate 81.

The new spot is set to be Buc-ee’s first gas station in the state, and is open from Monday, June 30.

The store will open to the public Monday starting at 6am, and there will be a grand opening celebration visitors are welcome to join.

Buc-ee’s is opening the over 70,000 square-foot location which will be equipped with over 100 gas pumps.

At that size, the new Buc-ee’s is set to rival many large retail stores in the area.

Randy Pauly, pit master for Buc-ee’s, said: “Once you get to know the folks that are running this Buc-ee’s, you’ll understand why we picked this location and why it’s so special and why it’s so amazing here at this Virginia Buc-ee’s.”

Pauly also confirmed that the new gas station will create jobs for the local community.

He continued: “We’re looking for folks who don’t maybe have the skill set but most importantly, they have the smile.

“They have the waking-up-in-the-morning-excited-about-life [mentality.]

“We’re going to give them the skill sets they need. We hire the very best folks in the entire neighborhood and surrounding area.”

MORE LOCATIONS COMING

Bosses at Buc-ee’s have revealed that 11 new locations will be coming soon.

New outlets are set to start popping up in 2026.

So far, a new Buc-ee’s has been confirmed for Mebane, North Carolina, which is about 120 miles from the city of Charlotte, set for either 2026 or 2027.

New gas stations are also being planned for Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi and Texas over the coming years.

The Arizona locations is set for June 2026, while those in Arkansas will have to wait a few months more until the September.

Currently, there are more than 50 Buc-ee’s locations in the US.

On social media, Buc-ee’s has been praised, with some even celebrating it as life changing.

In 2023, influencers Shelby and Dylan, from Alabama, filmed their trip to a Buc-ee’s store and the clip has scored more than 600,000 likes.

Dylan was notable for his admiration for Buc-ee’s in the video, as he was heard saying: “Florida has Disney World, we have Buc-ee’s.

“You really can’t beat that place.

“Like they make movies about places like this.”
