The shooter shot himself and was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.
It’s unclear if there were any other suspects involved in the shooting.
Cops raced to the ICE office in Dallas, Texas, just before 7 am on Wednesday after reports of an active shooter.
The building is a field office, not a detention center, meaning the facility isn’t typically open to the public.
US Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem confirmed the shooting in a statement on social media.
“Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities,” Noem said.
“The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them.
“It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”
No ICE agents were shot or hurt in the shooting, Fox News reported.
