COSTCO has stopped serving Pepsi in its food court, as a new brand steps up to take its place.
The change at Costco began at the start of the month, with the ditched Pepsi being moved aside by one of its biggest rivals.

Confirmed back in January, Costco has stopped serving Pepsi in its food courts, replacing it with Coca-Cola instead.
It has been said that all of Costco‘s food courts will serve Coca-Cola products by the fall.
The drinks giant said in a statement to FOX Business: “Costco insiders and Coca-Cola fans are buzzing about the transition, which will span warehouses in 14 countries, allowing Costco members everywhere to once again enjoy their favorite Coca-Cola beverages alongside Costco’s beloved food court offerings.”
This change reverses the initial switch that Costco made in 2013, when it swapped out Coca-Cola for Pepsi.
At the time, this was done to maintain the price of its iconic $1.50 hot dog combo.
This is one of Costco‘s most popular meals at the food court, giving customers a hot dog and a soda for that low price.
In a statement from Costco CEO Ron Vachris, he said: “This summer we will be converting our food court fountain business back over to Coca-Cola.”
On the social media platform Reddit, customers shared if their local Costco had already seen the change.
Among the comments on the thread, one person said that Coca-Cola had come back to the food court in Lakewood, California, Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Springfield, Virginia.
Others were split over the Coca-Cola switch, with some praising it and some mourning the loss of Pepsi.
One person approved of the move: “Coke > Pepsi so this is actually bringing me all the joy.”
While someone else wrote: “Yeah it was disappointing.
“Had my first Coke in nearly 25 years and I didn’t hate it, but would have much rather had a Pepsi.”

But Coca-Cola has just gone through a massive change of its own that will impact how customers enjoy it at Costco.

President Donald Trump recently confirmed that Coca-Cola will now be made with real cane sugar instead of corn syrup in the US.
Trump’s health secretary, Robert F Kennedy Jr., had previously raised concerns about the health impacts of corn syrup.
The President wrote on Truth Social: “I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so.
“I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola.
“This will be a very good move by them – You’ll see. It’s just better!”
But the move has been criticized by those in the corn industry, claiming it will negatively impact jobs.
Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode said: “Replacing high fructose corn syrup with cane sugar would cost thousands of American food manufacturing jobs, depress farm income, and boost imports of foreign sugar, all with no nutritional benefit.”
Coca-Cola is already made using cane sugar in countries like Mexico and Australia as well as in the UK.
A spokesperson for Coca-Cola said that they “appreciate President Trump’s enthusiasm”.
