COSTCO has just released a $189 human-sized advent calendar for the holidays, and it’s filled with 24 Lindt chocolate products.
The advent calendar stands at 5ft tall and includes full-sized Lindt treats from the luxury brand, including a chocolate bunny and a limited edition flavor.

Costco had previously caught heat online for embracing Christmas in-store too early.
Shoppers were stunned after they saw Christmas decorations already up in September.
But now, Costco‘s human-sized advent calendar is garnering praise and excitement from customers on social media.
The Instagram account Costco Hot Finds revealed what the calendar looks like, and shoppers already want a taste.
On person said online: “I need this SO badly!!!”
While another wrote: “No way!!! This is epic!!!!”
The video shows what shoppers can expect from the calendar, including a limited edition Hot Cocoa flavor Lindt and solid chocolate umbrellas.
Others doors on the calendar contain chocolate truffles and a full bar of Lindt dark chocolate.
The end of the clip revealed that the advent calendar is only available at select locations.
SEASON’S GREETINGS
As the fall season fully takes hold, Costco has several deals on items that are designed to keep shoppers warm.
For women, Costco is selling the Calvin Klein Women’s Denim Jacket online for $28.99.
The jacket comes in sizes from extra small to extra extra large, and is available in light blue, dark blue and black.
The retailer has warmer options too, like the Bench Women’s Long Puffer Jacket. which is available for $49.99 only on the website.
This jacket comes with a zip hood that can be detached when not in use.
Competitor advent calendars
Costco’s competitors have also started selling their own advent calendars for the holidays.
Walmart is now selling a $24.97 Disney Princess Jewelry Activity Advent Calendar that features 24 gifts inside.
The item also houses over 300 pieces of jewelry that kids can spend the holidays putting together.
Walmart is also selling advent calendars with a DIY bracelet kit, toy cars and 24 unique flavors of whiskey for the grown ups.
Adi hasn’t quite started selling its advent calendars yet, but has promised to let shoppers know when it does.
The chain has teased looks at gingerbread house-themed calendars, one featuring 24 unique coffees, and others from big brands like Bluey.
Sam’s Club has joined the advent calendar race too, with one based on popular Disney characters from Pixar’s Toy Story and Monsters Inc., to Winnie the Pooh and Pinocchio for $16.88.
For the same price, the retailer is selling an advent calendar with a Disney princesses theme.
The calendar promises a “Storybook Library” and shows off characters like Mulan, Cinderella and Snow White.
It also features two zipped pockets on the side, and is made from 100% recycled polyester with thermoplastic polyurethane.
The color options include black, cream and gray.
For men, Costco is selling the Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Bomber Jacket for $36.99.
The jacket is fully water-resistant and comes in black or blue.
While the Weatherproof Men’s Ultratech Jacket at $32.99 is made with a four-way stretch material and is windproof.
