SHOPPERS have found the perfect food court trick that can help them cool off this summer at Costco.

It’s not only affordable for shoppers on a budget, but it can be upgraded for only a few bucks.

Over 2,000 members at the warehouse retail giant commented on the hack that was revealed by Allrecipes staffer Nicole in a Facebook reel this month.

“This is how you cool off this summer on a budget,” Nicole, also a Costco member, emphasized.

She quickly revealed that the food court concoction that she was making was a Coke Float.

Coke Floats typically include vanilla ice cream and classic Coca-Cola as a base.

It’s a spin off the iconic Root Beer Float.

Costco recently made a major change to switch over to Coke products instead of Pepsi products, which was controversial among some members.

Nicole was at a location where Pepsi hadn’t been phased out yet, meaning it’d then be a Pepsi Float, but Nicole noted that she’s from the South, so every soda is a “Coke.”

Either way, the Float trick can make three cups full for less than $5.

All consumers need to do is buy one vanilla ice cream soft serve cup for $1.99 and three fountain drinks for $0.75 cents a piece.

That’ll make it $4.24 or around $4.77 with tax.

Then, Costco members just need to take a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream and put it in each of the Floats.

That creates an enjoyable ice cream treat to combat the heat for around $1.59 a piece.

Several customers approved of the Float and noted they’d be taking advantage of the savings.

“Yassss best deal,” a Costco fan commented in the thread.

    Costco classic food court items

    • Hot Dog with Soda – $1.50
    • Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza slice – $1.99
    • Rotisserie Chicken Caesar Salad – $6.99
    • Turkey and Swiss Sandwich – $6.99
    • Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie – $2.49

“Oh, my goodness! That is brilliant!” another exclaimed.

    BUYER BONUS

A third also recommended around a $4 bonus that could effectively create an entire lunch and dessert for only $7.

    “Or, get hot dog/soda 3x 1.50 = 4.50. Ice cream 2.00,” they wrote.

“Have Lunch and dessert for $7.”

Costco’s signature hot dog offering has stayed $1.50 for decades, despite rumors that it could increase in price at some point.

It’s a promise that executives plan to keep in honor of founders James Sinegal and Jeffrey Brotman.

Some other changes have also been made at Costco’s food court recently.

A new “combo” item was introduced for $6.99, and it’s inspired by a fan-favorite selection.

Several members also cried out that the warehouse retailer “hates America” after a $5.20 item brought to international shoppers only.
