THANKSGIVING shoppers in the Lancaster and York counties will have more options to choose from as food giant makes huge announcement.
Costco has revealed four new store locations coming in October, with three new warehouses set for the US and one in Canada.

The announcement aligns with the company’s goal to open between 25 and 30 new stores in 2025, with half of them opening their doors in the US.
The four new locations are Fruitport in Michigan, Mechanicsburg in Pennsylvania, Indian Land in South Carolina and Mississauga in Ontario, Canada.
Members will be invited to the grand openings of the stores, to be held on October 31.
The retailer has opened numerous new stores across the globe this year, including warehouses in Washington, Texas, Florida and Nevada, while also extending Saturday shopping hours.
Stores now keep their doors open until 7pm and give Executive Members early access on weekdays.
The South Carolina store is in close proximity to two of the fastest growing areas in the state.
John McCain, the chief executive officer of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce said: “You have a lot of people who take jobs in Charlotte but want a slower pace of life when they go home.”
“So they move to Lancaster,” he added.
When the Indian Land store opens its doors, it will be the eighth Costco in South Carolina and the first warehouse retailer in Lancaster.

McCain also said Costco had joined the Chamber of Commerce in early September, in anticipation of the store openings.
“They’ll be a great member of the community and great corporate citizens,” he said.
“They’re excited about being here.”
Tara Coltman, the southeast regional marketing manager for Costco, said the company had already been interviewing for staff in the new stores, however wouldn’t say how many people would be hired.
The company has also said it is determining how many staff will be transferred over from other locations.
The retailer is one of the largest on the planet and is attempting to expand to more than $27 trillion this year.
According to the company, they have 79.6 million paying members, 37.6 million of whom are at the Executive tier.
