A COSTCO customer has discovered a game-changing food court hack this month.
They urged fellow members to try it out immediately to save themselves time while shopping at the warehouse retailer.

Costco’s food court is famous and a major membership perk, with desirable food and drink items like the $1.50 hot dog combo often at the top of the list.
It’s relatively standard to go wait in line by the food court counter for a bit before ordering given the popularity, but there may be a work around for that, according to longtime Costco member, Moana.
“Did you know you can order your pizza or anything else you want from the Costco food court at the checkout register inside?” she asked fellow shoppers in a Facebook thread.
“Like you just pay for your stuff and tell them you want pizza, sandwich, coffee etc. No need to stand in another line outside.”
“Just go to the side window and pick up your food order. You are welcome!” she exclaimed.
Basically, Costco members can make food court purchases when checking out with their groceries, rather than heading over to the counter to make them in a separate trip.
MEMBERS APPROVE
Other members confirmed this was possible.
“Yeah lol it’s only hot food. Sometimes I go inside because it’s faster,” someone commented.
This was refuted by Moana who confirmed that she was able to order a frappe at the checkout area.
“Oh I always grab a pizza there when I check out with the kids so I don’t have to wait in line again!” another wrote.
“Game changer!” exclaimed a third.
It’s important to note that Moana said she was able to do this at a Costco location with an outdoor food court area.
Only about 18 of the retailer’s warehouses have outdoor food courts, typically in warmer weather states like California, Florida, and Hawaii.
It remains unclear if the food court ordering at the checkout area is available solely at these stores for convenience, or if it’s possible at all of Costco’s over 620 stores nationwide.

WAITING GAME
Another food court ordering change left some members fuming earlier this summer.
At select locations, shoppers noticed that their numbers weren’t being called out after placing an order on a digital kiosk.
Instead, they’d have to print out their receipt, wait in line, and present it to a staff member.
Then, the worker would prepare their order on the spot and hand them the items.
“Numbers will no longer be called out,” a sign posted in one store location read, per a post on Facebook from a member, Andy.
It also directed members to specifically bring their receipts to the counter to grab their order.
“Seems weird to me,” Andy wrote.
Other shoppers blasted it as “awful” and argued that it would “slow things down.”
Costco also recently added a new “combo” at the food court for just $6.99 that fans are calling an instant classic.
A major soda shakeup at the food court is fully in place this fall despite some mixed feelings from Costco shoppers.
