Rolled out on June 30, the new perk gives executive members exclusive shopping hours.
At one Costco in Concord, Northern California, TikToker Ayala Betsabe uses the new hours to shop before non-executive customers are allowed in.
She can shop from 9am to 10am Sunday through Friday and from 9am to 9:30am on Saturdays.
Betsabe said: “That has changed my life.”
In her video, Betsabe noted that this perk is so useful because the Conrad store often gets really busy.
In the comments, many wanted the perk to be kept a secret to avoid executive hours becoming overcrowded
One person warned: “Once everyone becomes an executive member, then none will be an executive member.”
And a second wrote: “It’ll change once people realize it.”
Others took the opportunity to rave about the new executive hours in the comments.
“I went on Sunday at 9 and it was amazing,” a commenter wrote.
“I get so overwhelmed normally. 9-10 was amazing!” another said.
“I loved it! Walked in at 9, walked out at 10 with people coming in.
“Very little crowd, and easy, smooth check out. It was amazing!” a third added.
A Costco executive membership costs $130 annually, a $10 price increase from last year.

POLICY CRITICS
When the announcement video was dropped for this, there were some who criticized the executive change.
Critics pointed to similar policies at other retailers, as well as the inconvenient timings.
A critic pointed out: “I’m already in and out of Sam’s club by 9am!”
Someone else highlighted: “So I’ll stop at 8 o’clock at Sam’s Club and then head on over to Costco at 9 got it!”
Another comment pointed out the possibly impractical 9am time: “I’m so surprised I didn’t find any comments about my very first thought when I heard about this new feature: are most people not at work at 9am…?
“I know I would never grocery shop at 9am, that is a very impractical time for me.”
