Police are crediting a Sioux Falls couple for their response to a gunman who broke into their home this week.


A 45-year-old Sioux Falls man is out on bond, accused of destroying a downtown sculpture and damaging a nearby car.


The South Dakota Department of Social Services hosted a public hearing Friday discussing a proposed 10-percent reduction in the payment standard for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
