CRIS Collinsworth is set to sign a four-year deal with NBC Sports to continue covering the NFL.
The contract will keep him in the broadcasting booth until the 2029/30 season, meaning he will cover the Super Bowl in 2026 and 2030.

Collinsworth makes $12.5 million per season, and The Athletic report that he will stay on with the network.
NBC show 21 NFL games this season, starting with the Dallas Cowboys vs the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
The Thursday night season-opener sees last year’s Super Bowl Champions face the world’s most valuable sports team.
The network’s current contract, which runs until the 2034 season, will see them host 21 matches this season.
This includes every prime-time Sunday Night Football match, the Thanksgiving night game and the Peacock Exclusive Game on December 27.
In NBC’s Thanksgiving game the Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.
Speaking to NBC Sports Philadelphia, Collinsworth discussed the start of the NFL season between the Eagles and Cowboys.
He said, “It’s really as good as it gets for us.
“If we get to cherry-pick a game, this is probably that game.
“We also get Baltimore and Buffalo on Sunday night so between the two of those, it can’t get a whole lot better.
“There’s something about Phili on that opening night… it’s exciting.
“Opening day for the Super Bowl champs, it’s always great. It’s always exciting and fun, and I can’t wait.”
Collinsworth is a former NFL wide receiver.
He played eight seasons for the Bengals in the 1980s after being picked up in the second round of the NFL Draft.
He finished his career with 417 receptions for 6,698 yards and 36 touchdowns in 107 games.

He was named to the Pro Bowl in his first three seasons in the NFL.
As a rookie, he was the leading receiver in the 1981 Super Bowl with five receptions for 107 yards.
When he retired after the 1988 season, he began his sports broadcasting career as a radio show host in Cincinnati.
He joined NBC in 1990 and became part of their pregame show in 1996.
He joined HBO and Fox for a few seasons after NBC lost its broadcast rights to CBS, but rejoined them in 2006 as a studio analyst.
He has featured for NBC ever since.
