She apparently demanded he hand over a home run ball which he gave to his son.

The incident was captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia and immediately went viral.

The female fan has received a backlash from fans and sportscasters.

Drew Feltwell spoke to Fox News about the incident this week.

“I don’t want anything bad to happen to her,” he said.

“Definitely not happy with her.

“Our evening worked out quite well afterward. So, can’t complain.”

The father looked stunned at being confronted by the fan and ended up giving her the ball.

His son was left disappointed by being forced to give up the home run ball.

Another angle also showed her with her middle finger up at fans.

“I can’t even repeat that on air. She was very vulgar,” Feltwell added.

“Screaming right in my ear that, you know, lotta bad words and, ‘That’s my ball.’

“That was her section and trying to tell me she had the right to that ball.

“The screaming and yelling kinda got to us and I just wanted her to go away.

So, that’s how she got the ball.”

Both Major League Baseball teams were clearly watching the incident unfold in real time.

Miami Marlins staffer presented the young fan with a swag bag in the stands.

And he was then invited down to meet Bader after the game.

Bader presented the fan with a signed bat as the youngster’s family watched on.

“I think the world could use a little extra de-escalation,” Feltwell explained.

“Everything is so tense. The world is pretty crazy and I don’t want to do anything like that in front of my son or on camera.

“It was tough giving the ball back but it ended that situation.”
