Dak Prescott will win NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2025 – here’s how he’ll go about it at Dallas Cowboys

DAK Prescott will win NFL Comeback Player of the Year this season – if everything goes his way.

Prescott, 32, played just eight games in 2024 before a hamstring injury ended his campaign early.

The quarterback has recovered and will lead the Cowboys again.

And Prescott will have a “stellar season,” our football analyst thinks.

Speaking on The US Sun show “Ain’t That Our Ball”, The US Sun’s NFL expert Ryan Sanudo said, “I expect Dak Prescott to be 100 per cent and I expect a Comeback Player of the Year award out of him.

“I’ve been hearing from Dallas Cowboys training camp that he’s looking good.

“It took a lot of recovery but I expect Dak to be 100 per cent.

“He’s not the type that’s going to run – they’re going to try and protect him and keep him in the pocket.

“You’re not going to expect any movements out of him because he’s a stationary type quarterback and he’s looking good right now.

“I expect a stellar season and I expect a comeback player of the year award out of him.

“He’s been hurt three times in the last five years so it’s been a recurring thing.

“But in terms of this particular injury, he’s looking good and ready to get the ball rolling.”

Dallas traded for wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers to bolster their offensive firepower.

“I think the intermediate passing game was a bit of a problem last year,” Sanudo added.

“I think this year we’re going to see some slants with George Pickens.

“With Ceedee Lamb on the other side, that’s going to create a lot of focus on him so Pickens can get his at the same time.

“And you can’t forget about Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker at tight end – even Turpin could be a WR3.

“Last year, even before the injury, it just wasn’t the Dak that we’d expected from previous years.

“Now they have Pickens coming from that trade, that’s really going to help him.”
